  1. I assume Vince is close friends with Gerard Depardieu. They probably belong to some of the same organizations, like the Jeffrey Epstein Gold Card VIP club, or something.
  2. It doesn’t matter what year it is. Never mind Toni Storm, it’s the original Nutty Professor who is truly TIMELESS.
  3. I’m looking forward to the Jerry Lewis Memorial Battle Royal.
  4. It’s too soon to be any of the recent WWE releases, correct?
  5. This Bayley segment is grim death. The fans could not give less of a shit.
  6. How often is Joe smaller than his opponent?
  7. LOL when Hangman attacked Swerve as revenge for invading his home…there were noticeable and audible boos for Page. He’s just not a sympathetic character. Mostly thanks to shitty booking. Plus, people just want to cheer Swerve…and Nana is helping with that. The dance is over, Bubbas.
  8. Hopefully they can draw more fans than the Oakland A’s did this past season. Whenever I watched a game from Oakland, it looked like the pandemic was still in full swing. Either that, or TK can threaten to move AEW to Vegas.
  9. Finally got around to checking this out tonight. Having been a fan for the past 40 years, I am well familiar with the sight of Vladimir ringside at Madison Square Garden. This was a nice look into his fandom. I found it equal parts sad, moving, and somewhat exploitive. At 37 minutes, it’s not hard to watch and it’s definitely worth checking out. By all accounts, he is a legitimately nice guy who just loves Pro Wrestling and especially WWE. I have read from different people online that they have run into him at shows, and he is the nicest guy, he just wants to enjoy himself. It’s hard to begrudge him that. I’m not going to deny that I got a little misty eyed during a couple of points during this documentary.
  10. I really wanted to see this show, especially to see how LA Knight held up under the pressure of working a Main Event of a major PLE. Unfortunately stupid real life interfered with my being able to catch this. It was a forgone conclusion that Knight was not going to win and be the one to dethrone Roman. I’m not even sure I think he should have. But this was certainly the biggest match of his career. How did he look? Did he look out of place or did he work well within the WWE “big match” structure? I don’t doubt that the higher ups were using this match as a testing ground for him to determine where his push goes from here.
  11. I don’t know if it’s because there aren’t many people there or what, but this KC crowd for Collision are DEAD. Mind you, they haven’t been given much to cheer about. Feels like this Acclaimed segment is never going to end.
  12. I’m trying to watch this show but Booker T on commentary makes it very, very difficult. I will say…The Creed Brothers are awesome. They have more potential as a team than any team I’ve seen in a very long time.
  13. I would have a lot to say, if not for the fact that in typical fashion TSN+ crapped out and lost the signal about five minutes in…and was out for a good portion of the match. I got to see most of the finish. I still can’t believe they gave away that match with three days notice on free TV. It makes no sense to me. You literally could’ve had that exact match as the main event at Wembley not two months ago, and it would not have seemed out of place. If you are hell-bent on giving away a match like that for free, why not hype it up for a month or so at the very least?
  14. Danielson is injured again?! Broken orbital bone this time, supposedly. That dude has luck comparable to Adam Cole.
  15. Yeah, he’s got a real “skin problem” and I can’t imagine why. On an unrelated note, he looks to be in great shape.
  16. Man a couple of spots in this Shida/Soho match have looked…rough.
  17. I guess Ric’s Legend’s deal is up.
  18. I strongly question that decision. That match should be the Main Event of a PPV, not being given away on free TV with a 3 day build. Hell, I would way rather see MJF/Omega as the Main Event of Full Gear over Jay White getting the shot. The only good thing about the short build for Kenny getting the shot on Saturday is that we won’t be subjected to more riveting promos like the one he cut tonight.
  19. Here’s another question…what will Tony Khan’s gift to Sting be? Knowing TK, I assume it’s a tournament, or maybe a championship belt.
  20. I don’t disagree. I have actually heard him interviewed on a couple of different podcasts. He was on Rene Paquette’s podcast and that AEW podcast hosted by Aubrey Edwards and Tony Schiavone. Turns out Morrissey has a pretty interesting history. He had (has) some pretty serious mental health problems and like a lot of people in that situation, he was self medicating with alcohol and as we all saw, he really hit rock bottom. It’s a credit to him how hard he has worked to improve himself in all aspects of his life. It makes it hard not to cheer for him as a human being, if nothing else.
  21. She and Big Bill Morrissey are engaged to be married, so I would hope they stay in AEW together, for their sake. That’s not really relevant to Pro Wrestling and it’s none of my damn business, of course.
  22. Man, these Battle of the Belts “specials” are consistently the drizzling shits.
  23. I’m there for a House of Black vs. BCC angle. Whoa, Haley J gets rejected by WWE after flunking her medical and TK grabs her up? Or maybe he’s just using her as enhancement talent, I guess…based on that match. LOL at Nigel’s Robocop joke.
  24. Not surprising at all, but this Andrade vs Danielson match is pretty damn good.
  25. All that HGH he did years ago didn’t help him much in the looks department, either. Nothing like a grossly distended cranium to make the ladies swoon. Just ask Barry Bonds or Robbie Lawler.
