  1. I enjoyed watching Pro Wrestling This Week but the thing about you buying that is it's going to make you want to buy the things you watch on Pro Wrestling This Week.
  2. Keep notes? You'll be taking a lot if you want to keep track of every title change in Memphis haha. The only 2 belts that matter are the Southern Heavyweight and the Tag Titles there is another midcard singles title, the Mid-America title that seems to disappear and reappear at times.

  4. I'm dealing with a mix of both right now. I should just dump all the CDs out of my giant one in the car and put the CDs I might actually listen to again in my small one.

    Current WWE

Jericho came back to work with Ryback but they changed it on him at the last minute and gave him Fandango. I don't think they really even planned to give Fandango a big push out of the gate it was just something they did because they soured on Ryback and just plugged someone else into his spot.
  6. I have been reading Jerry Jarrett's book he put out which is pretty much just his diary from when he was starting up TNA. It is a great read in it's own right and you can see before the first show he knows where everything is going and predicts that Jeff & Russo's friendship would end because of working together. But this was too good of a Vince McMahon story to pass up:
  7. Steve Regal vs Buck Zumhofe felt like an eternity.
  8. I'm not sure if this has been posted in this thread before but this video of Buddy Rose, apparently made by Buddy himself in 1979 is SO good.
  9. Except Bob Brown apparently.
  10. I have been reading some old magazines and saw this in an issue of Wrestling's Main Event from February 1985. For those who watched Steve Regal in AWA you can file this under "things I never expected to read"
  11. Portland was boosted by the Apter mags by how much coverage they got relative to the size of the promotion. They gave a lot of coverage to Portland right up until the end.

  15. Oh man. I hadn't even thought about those guys being on the yearbook. I'll have to check out the listings for 1998 right now and 1999 when that hits and see if I remember any of that stuff. I think Quackenbush & Reckless Youth deserved the hype at the time. I don't really know how much credit they deserve for that next line of indy guys that came after them like AJ Styles, Low Ki & Bryan Danielson but it certainly feels like they kind of helped usher in a style that a new group of guys got the popularity and credit for.
  16. I kind of was lucky enough to grow up near Richmond, Va where Tim Noel was doing his Wrestling Power show on cable access so I got to see footage of OMEGA shows, SMW stuff, and Mike Quackenbush & Reckless Youth. I was ALL IN on Quack and Youth in the late 90s man. The first time I saw a Falcon Arrow was quite the experience for me.
