Russo HAS TO BE back. He fucking loved him some Eric Young.

That's a fantastic set and you should enjoy it.

I'm going to agree with Magnum/Tully. I thought it was a good brawl with a compelling finish but I didn't think it was in some mythical "greatest match ever" category.
-
This is a match that gets a lot better when you watch the feud in context. If you don't know why they are wearing the tuxedos, or don't know why the crowd goes so nuts when DiBiase goes to slide out, bumps his feet against the Cage and remembers he can't run as Duggan just looks at him like "yea, you're screwed" then you aren't going to think it's as a great as people who saw the buildup.

The only thing that's worked flawlessly for me in Firefox has been WrestleMania. I tried IE today and it's been perfect watching everything. Guess I'll just have to use IE for the Network.

I JUST came here to post about how much I liked his squash of Zach Ryder from Superstars a month or so ago. I was just looking through Superstars to see if there were any Titus matches recently and thought watching this match that he is a just a push away from being a big star. I hope with all the other new acts they are trying to push right now that he doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

I just don't think a podcast is a good format for him. I don't think he really has a vibrant personality to make it work.

I would agree about Carlito but I don't think Zeke really has that much baggage. He never had a run long enough for him to feel like a guy who just couldn't make it in WWE.

Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away

That was kind of the mystique. He was the guy you grew up watching as a kid who didn't stick around and you couldn't just turn on the TV and see any Monday night. I think that's why he has such a strong connection to so many people's childhoods. -

The thing about Warrior is that he kept his mystique. He got red hot and then left while he was still hot. People were always excited for his returns, and they were always short enough that you forgot that it was never really the same again when he came back. Even after the really bad WCW run people still wanted to see him again after a while. -
I have a Butch Reed compilation that is probably my favorite single wrestler comp. I honestly feel like he is one of the most under-rated guys ever. He wasn't a great talker but was a good heel promo and he was very good in the ring. I think he's a guy from that time period that would be far more successful today than he was back then.

I really think the reason they decided not to split up The Shield yet was because they don't think Reigns is ready yet. They should be putting him in more singles matches on house shows to try and get him ready but I don't think they've done that at all. I just watched the Daniel Bryan "Journey to WrestleMania" thing on the Network and it really kind of spells out that the company has decided to go all in on Daniel Bryan with John Cena and Austin kind of acknowledging it.

Had no idea that Gallows and Styles were working for NJPW. Still don't know why Masters never works Japan unless he just doesn't like it.
-
I still wonder if Daniel Bryan's momentum is sustainable. It was all built on him fighting the machine and people thinking he was legit getting fucked over by the company. Now he's the champion, they're building the show around him and he's obviously the star of the company for the moment. I wonder if that hurts him at all?

Russo is not going to be involved in this. Russo pretty much helped put Jeff out of power in TNA, and from some of the things Jim Cornette said about his time there, it seemed like Jeff knew Russo was a mistake but it was too late by that point because Russo was already in with Dixie. As far as the new promotion goes, I hope it succeeds. I think there is enough talent on the indies to make it work, especially since it seems like most of the TNA guys would want to jump if there was anything to jump to. Think about it for a little bit. There's a lot out there: Chris Masters, AJ Styles, Chris Hero, The Briscoes, Luke Gallows (just re-do the Isiah Cash bit), Trevor Murdoch, Colt Cabana, The Young Bucks, Mike Bennett, Cliff Compton, Adam Cole, Greg Marasciulo, etc. Probably a bunch of other guys that I'm just blanking on. Personally I'd look at Ezekiel Jackson if he was healthy. There's no other vague mysterious "coming soon" promotions to get interested in except for this one. However, if this becomes a thing and they DON'T give my man Chris Masters regular employment they'll be dead to me. I also offer up my services as a booker seeing as all the guys I listed are guys I use in my TEW game, so obviously I know how to use them and I'll just say I *AM* booking the #1 promotion in the world.

I respect their "youth initiative " that caused them to force Finlay out of the ring a little more now if Vince is including himself.

"I know all you guys and all your fathers are gonna get a call from me. Except for the looney up in Togus."

I don't know if Bourne can still go like he used to after all his injury problems, but he's WAY more valuable to Justin Gabriel or Tyson Kidd. Neither of those guys have the in-ring charisma he has, he always gets over while Kidd & Gabriel never have.

Lawler should be glad he's a fan of the Browns and not any other team, that's not the first time I've seen him cut a promo after a loss and compare his fans' disappointment to his disappointment as a Browns fan.

This was the perfect WrestleMania for Taker to lose at because it made the crowd think anything could happen during the triple threat main event that really only had 1 possible ending.
-
A Roku Box is cheap and easy to get though. Not more of a hassle than the old days when you used to have to have the special box from the PPV company to get PPVs.
-
I think they always bring out the French announce team for WrestleMania, but Mania only.

Brock's had a lot of nicknames, but now it should be "The One"
