  1. Some of these titles don't exist, Edger. Kevin created them for his promotion.
  2. The big surprise this weekend was Jim Cornette appearing in the ECW ARENA. Has hell frozen over? Cornette was granted exclusive permission by Vince McMahon to participate in a series of ECW arena events. Since ECW Arena events are only ran Saturday nights and at average on a tri-weekly basis, the WWF owner felt it didn't conflict with his own promotion. There's likely more to this and Vince probably has his eyes on a few talents to steal away. There's always an agenda with Vince McMahon. Rumor has it... Jeff Jarrett and Brian Armstrong were all but gone from the WWF and had a verbal agreement with Paul Heyman and ECW before the former was announced as returning to the WWF next week on Raw. This rumor holds more water not that we've seen the debut of a Memphis style crew at the most recent ECW Arena event. One has to wonder if Vince hired Jarrett back because he wanted him in the WWF, or if Vince simply didn't want Jarrett to venture "elsewhere".
  3. Very authentic feel throughout the program. Takes myself back to 95/96 ECW and my undying loyalty as a fan of the promotion during that time. The Buh Buh stuff was very true to the era as well. Fun. Heyman had a way of getting away with comedy in a blood and guts sort of promotion. Case in point here. The Mempho unit invade the arena. If there was ever a place Jim Cornette's filthy mouth would fit in, it's ECW....Not sure the corporate suits in Titan land will like Cornette's persona here, but speaking as a fan it fits him well. Curious to see Shane's mystery partner. It's nice to see Shane here rather than in his DEAN garb and scratching a chalkboard. UGH Good stuff burying Tommy Dreamer. The Raven response was authentic to the time. Curious to see if this is all a ploy and the Innovator of Violence will return, or if this was the sendoff for the heart and sould of EC-DUB
  4. Pretty strong roster. Some fun introduction angles with Austin/Pillman obviously being a headliner. Ahmed looks primed to cause some destruction. HHH not flinching in 1995? He's got a few years before he gets that ego. He better mind his Ps and Qs here at his size in 1995. Ahmed will eat him alive. Fun Bam Bam vignette. Very creative. As soon as I saw "15 minute time limit" with Benoit and Guerrero I thought to myself there's no way this thing has a finish. I was happy to see the draw. Leaves things open ended for the future. They were able to showcase their body of work for a full 15 of TV time, something not too many young guys were able to do back in that era. I was a huge fan of Scott Hudson in Global and was happy when he came to WCW. Good to see him being used as the lead commentator.
  5. Two pieces of Titan news.... It was announced on the September 10th edition of Raw that Jeff Jarrett will be making his return to the company on the September 17th edition. After he and Brian James "Armstrong" (The Roadie) walked out on the company immediately following the IC Title loss to Shawn Michaels at the July IYH PPV, the two men were contacted to return. After nearly two months of discussions it looks like the WWF finds Jarrett valuable enough to put the past behind them. It remain unclear how or even if the Roadie will be returning alongside Double J. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- In the land of the WWF, there have been recent reports after the success of the latest episode of Monday Night Raw which aired as a 90 minute special that the USA Network is now pressuring Vince McMahon to remain at the 90 minute time range. McMahon is currently against lengthening the program, at least on a full time basis, but is open to exceptions for special occasions. For the moment it appears Raw might be sticking to the 60 minute format, with an opening for 90 minute expansion in the future. The September 17th Raw is also slated as a 90 minute special heading into the 3rd installment of the In Your House PPV. Is it a coincidence that the first two Raws after the U.S. Open are both 90 minutes AND up against the new fledgling Monday Nitro program? We'll see what the future holds.
  6. Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments. I'm going to try and post ahead of time to make sure I don't fall behind with everything else I have going on. IYH should be fun, I've got a couple more fun matches to announce next week. Should flow nicely since the PPV is only 2 hours. Agree on the Badd comment Spaldoni. I know they couldn't get the rights from WCW to do the Badd gimmick, but the Wildman gimmick was awful, followed up by the Marvelous character. Yuck.... 1995 Badd really came into his own as an in ring performer... I hope he meshes well with the WWF roster. I'll do my best to keep Shawn out of the bars come October... Don't need no repeats of real life.
  7. WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW September 10, 1995 SPECIAL 90 MINUTE EDITION! Vince McMahon welcomes everyone back to the Manhattan Center, a familiar venue of time gone by. Raw returns this week LIVE from it's old stomping grounds. Welcome everyone, to Mon-day Night RAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Vince runs down today's program, featuring Bret Hart taking on McMahon's normal broadcast partner Jerry Lawler. Vince has a special surprise for everyone this week. Doing commentary to replace the King this week is the WWF World Heavyweight Champion "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel. After a brief exchange on commentary we hear the familiar music of the King, Jerry Lawler making his way to the ring. MATCH #1: BRET "HITMAN" HART VS. JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER Lawler attempts to stall early, jumping out of the ring to argue with the fans. Hart has no part of it and he goes outside to attack the King. Bret introduces Jerry to the guard rail, the ring post, and the ring apron before rolling him back inside. The King pleads off, but Bret scoops him up and sends him into the corner. Hart goes up for a 10 punch mount and plays to the crowd. Raw will continue in a moment. ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ HART VS. LAWLER CONTINUES... The King has taken control during the commercial break. Instant replay shows that the King ducked between the ropes and when referee Jack Doan was trying to separate the two, Lawler thumbed the Hitman right in the eyes. Lawler continues to work over Bret, mixing in some jaw jacking with the crowd. Lawler whips Hart chest first into the corner. The King delivers a FIST DROP from the middle rope and covers. 1....2.....Hart kicks out on 2... The King looks frustrated as he argues with the referee. Lawler attempts his PILEDRIVER, but Bret counters with a backdrop! With both men down the referee counts. They both make it back to their feet, Lawler misses a wild swing and Bret hits an Atomic Drop, then an inverted atomic, and finally a backbreaker to lay the King out. Bret comes off the middle rope with an elbow that gets a 2 count. Hart begins to grab the King's legs for the Sharpshooter, but Jerry senses it coming. Lawler begins to kick and scream as he somehow manages to make it to the ropes before Hart can lock the hold on. Lawler rolls outside to the floor. Hart looks pissed. Bret hops outside to go after Lawler. The two men take turns trading punches. Lawler tries to whip Bret into the post, but Hart reverses. Lawler goes into the post instead. Jerry drops to his knees and starts to crawl up the aisle, away from the ring. Jack Doan is on the count of 8 and Hart knows he doesn't have time to bring Jerry back. Bret rolls in the ring as Doan reaches the count of 10... Lawler stumbles his way to the back. Bret Hart will win on a count out. WINNER BY COUNT OUT..... THE HITMAN, BRET HART Bret has his hand raised but he is PISSED. Lawler got away. Diesel thinks the King is a coward and Bret got ripped off. Bret storms out of the ring stalking after Lawler backstage as Raw goes to break. ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ To the Dok Hendrix... Dok stands by backstage with a hot Bret Hart. Interim President Gorilla Monsoon is also standing beside them. Bret is fuming hot that the King once again runs away. Hart is sick of it and demands a rematch where Lawler can't run away. Bret wants Lawler inside a STEEL CAGE! Gorilla concurs that sounds like a good idea. Monsoon books Bret vs. Lawler in a CAGE for IN YOUR HOUSE in Saginaw Michigan. Just 2 weeks away. TO THE RING..... Already in the ring are the opponents for the next match. It's the new and "improved" British Bulldog, sporting his new haircut. MATCH #2: "BRITISH BULLDOG" DAVEY BOY SMITH VS. 1-2-3 KID Story goes, the Kid asked for this match after the Bulldog turned his back on his fans. The Kid uses his speed early on to frustrate Davey Boy. Kid goes for a spinning heel kick, but Smith holds the ropes and Kid misses. Davey takes over with a one handed delayed vertical suplex as he walks around smirking to get more heat. After Davey drops Kid he does some flexing and goes into a side headlock to piss off the fans. The crowd chants "1-2-3" as the Kid begins to fight his way out. The Kid breaks free and drops Dog with the spinning heel kick he tried earlier on. Kid works over Smith in the corner with his educated feet. Snap suplex on the Dog followed by a legdrop gets the Kid a 2 count. But Bulldog kicks out with authority. The Kid goes up top. MISSILE DROPKICK FROM THE KID!!! HE COVERS!!! 1---------------- 2--------------- NOOOOOOO Bulldog barely escapes! The Kid goes up again. FLYING CROSS BODY!!!! BULLDOG CATCHES THE KID!!!! HE TURNS IT INTO THE RUNNING POWERSLAM!!! 1-----------2-------------------3!!! YOUR WINNER... THE BRITISH BULLDOG A valiant effort by the KID, but Davey Boy gets the win. BULLDOG CALLS FOR THE MICROPHONE... Breathing hard, Smith rips on the fans, rips on the champions Diesel and Shawn Michaels, and rips on America. Bulldog says that's why he got rid of "Mr. USA", referring to Lex Luger. Bulldog calls Americans soft and he's done playing to them, it's gotten him nowhere. From now on Smith looks out for himself, and himself only. Bulldog rolls out of the ring and has a few words exchanged with Diesel who is on commentary. ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ MATCH #3: JOHNNY B. BADD VS. RENO RIGGINS Complete with his BADD BLASTER, Johnny makes his WWF debut and Vince sells it like the second coming. The fans are behind Badd as he does some dancing and places his knee over the railing for ladies (and one guy) to stufff dollars in his kneepad. Vince talks about Johnny's character but also mentions his background in the Golden Gloves. Diesel has crossed paths with Johnny elsewhere and admits underneath the makeup lies a tough opponent. Riggins finds out much the same. Reno mocks Johnny at the bell, and eventually slaps Badd. Johnny unloads with a hard right hand. THE KISS THAT DON'T MISS! Even Badd can't believe he already dropped his opponent seconds into the match. Johnny sits down on the chest of Reno and hooks his leg for the easy win., WINNER IS... JOHNNY B. BADD TODD PETTENGILL, IN YOUR HOUSE REPORT! Already signed... BRET HART VS. JERRY LAWLER INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!!! Back TO THE RING... Vince is smiling ear to ear as he welcomes back.... THE MACHO MAN.... RANDY SAVAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOHHHH YEAAHHHH!!!!! Savage is greeted with much fanfare as he looks happy to be back walking down the WWF aisle.... Savage climbs onto the middle rope to play to the fans as Raw takes a time out. ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ Vince welcomes Macho back to the WWF. Macho says it's great to be back. No more politics, just wrestlers who want to wrestle, yeaahhh. Without naming names, Savage eludes to Hogan and the ownership of WCW holding him down. Macho says it's good to be back where you're given opportunities based on your abilities, and not on whose back you scratch. That brings Macho to here... Savage calls Diesel into the ring. The World Champ is caught off guard but looks to be happy to welcome Savage back. The two men shake hands as Savage puts over What Diesel has done in a short period of time. A triple crown champion all within a year. And the current WWF Champion for the last 10 months. Savage says the last time he was here he was getting an itchy finger to get back in the ring full time, but he was contracted to doing announcing. He went "elsewhere" to prove he still had it. It was always his plan to come back to the WWF. He proved himself "elsewhere" and now he's back where the REAL MEN play. Savage has signed an active wrestlers contract and he's returning to the WWF, but not behind a microphone. But in a RING... Man to man, Macho says his credentials speak for themself. Diesel has beat everyone in the WWF... BUT.... BUUUUUUUUUUTTT..... You haven't beat the Macho Man.... YEAH...... Diesel looks stunned, Vince's eyebrows raise. Savage man to man, asks for a title shot against Diesel. The crowd pops huge. Diesel is taken back, and almost puts it off on the championship committee. Diesel steps up and says if Gorilla Monsoon will grant the match, Diesel will accept the challenge. Diesel wants the best and he knows Savage is the best. If we can get the match signed, we will see WWF Champion Diesel vs. Macho Man Savage sooner than later. ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ Diesel has now left the announce position. The King is back in his broadcast spot. Lawler calls the Cage match against Bret Hart at IYH a conspiracy by Canadians. Lawler thinks Monsoon is a closet Canadian, and says that Saginaw, Michigan is close enough to the border it's probably filled with Canadians too. Lawler says he will teach Hart one final lesson at IYH. MATCH #4: THE UNDERTAKER (w/PAUL BEARER) VS. JACOB BLU Jacob Blu stands in the ring as we witness the Undertaker's entrance. Once that's out of the way, Jacob tries to get the jump on Taker. He works the Dead Man over against the ropes, but Taker reverses a whip off the ropes and he hits a flying clothesline on Blu. Taker chokes Blu before taking him over to the ropes. Taker walks the ropes and lowers the Boom on Jacob. Jacob Blu rolls out of the ring as referee Earl Hebner holds back the Undertaker. We see Eli Blu come running down to the ring. Jacob rolls under the ring while Eli replaces him outside. Eli Blu climbs up on the apron and drops the Taker throat first across the top rope. Eli takes over with some generic kicks and punches. A big slam on the Taker, and some more boots. Eli talks trash to the fans and Taker SITS UP! Eli scoops Taker up for another slam, but the Dead Man slides over his shoulder. TAKER CHOKESLAM!!!! TOMBSTONE!!! 1------------2---------------------3 YOUR WINNER.... THE UNDERTAKER.... Shortly after the victory, Jacob Blu reemerges from under the ring. Once Eli recovers, he helps his twin brother stomp down Taker. They whip Undertaker into the ropes, but Taker ducks a double clothesline. Taker rebounds off the ropes and hits both Blu Twins with a flying double clothesline. The Blu boys take a bump and roll out opposite sides of the ring. Who can stop the Undertaker now that he has the URN back? ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ To the BACKSTAGE... Gorilla Monsoon confirms it. In the best interest of the fans, Monsoon has booked WWF Champion Diesel vs. Macho Man Randy Savage for IN YOUR HOUSE! Now back to the ring! STANDING IN THE RING WHEN WE COME BACK IS JIM CORNETTE, AND WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS YOKOZUNA AND OWEN HART. Cornette is already in the middle of a tirade, going between ripping on the Yankee fans up north and the no talent teams of the WWF. Cornette says Yoko and Owen are the most dominant tag team of all time and they challenge anyone to accept their open challenge. Cornette calls out any "outlaw mud show" tag teams in the area. A large squawking noise starts out a familiar theme music.... HOLY POOP.... IT'S THE HEADSHRINKERS!!!!!!! FORMER WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THEMSELVES.... FATU AND SIONNE ARE BACK IN THE WWF!!! CORNETTE AND THE CHAMPS ARE LIVID, BUT IT APPEARS WE HAVE OURSELVES A TITLE MATCH!!! WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OWEN HART & YOKOZUNA (W/JIM CORNETTE) VS. THE HEADSHRINKERS As the match starts, Fatu has his way with Owen Hart, and Owen gets pissed. Hart argues with referee Mike Chioda. Yoko tags in with Sionne. They trade some shots. Yoko tries a headbutt, but hurts himself. Yoko staggers as Sionne lays in some chops and right hands that send Yoko stumbling back to the ropes. Sionne tries to send Yoko off but his girth is too much. Yoko reverses, but Sionne ducks a chop. Sionne lays in a clothesline, a second clothesline, a third clothesline.... Yoko is staggering but he hasn't fallen.... Sionne for a fourth try, off the ropes... BIG BOOT BY SIONNE!!!! Yoko goes stumbling backwards into the ropes and tumbles through them to the floor. Cornette and Owen rush over to check on Yoko. Cornette looks like he's about to have an aneurism as he and Owen try to pick Yoko up. Raw rolls on..... ------------------------------------------------------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ------------------------------------------------------ WWF TAG CHAMPS YOKO & OWEN VS. HEADSHRINKERS CONTINUES.... It appears they got Yoko up before he was counter out. Sionne is in the ring, but misses a diving headbutt. Yoko tags to Owen who immediately catches Sionne with a spin kick. The champs take over and work over Sionne in their corner. Fatu is lured into the ring, causing Chioda to usher him back. Meanwhile it allows the heels to double team Sionne. Owen holds Sionne in the corner while Yoko comes charging with a big BUTT SPLASH in the corner, but Sionne pulls Owen into the move... YOKO SMASHES HIS OWN PARTNER!!! Owen goes down. Yoko is forced back out of the ring. Sionne makes a crawl to his corner. OWEN TAGS YOKO. HOT TAG TO FATU Fatu comes in on fire. He lights up Yoko with a series of right hands. Owen comes in and is met with a headbutt that sends him to the floor. Sionne follows Owen outside while Fatu and Yoko fight in the ring. Fatu catches Yoko with not one, but two Superkicks. Yoko stumbles in place. Fatu comes off the second rope with a headbutt, and YOKO GOES DOWN!!!! Fatu covers. 1-------------2----------------------YOKO KICKS OUT! Fatu goes off the ropes but RUNS INTO A THRUST KICK FROM YOKO. ZUNA DROPS A BIG LEG. 1--------------2-------SIONNE SLIDES IN TO STOP THE COVER..... 3..... BUT HE'S TOO LATE!!! WINNERS..... STILL CHAMPIONS.... YOKO & OWEN.... What a great back and forth match! Cornette calls his men out of the ring and hands them the belts as they escape with the belts yet again. Sionne checks on Fatu as we go to Vince and the King. We'll be back next week, where we will see THE RETURN OF "DOUBLE J" JEFF JARRETT. We haven't seen him in almost two months since his IC Title loss to Shawn Michaels. What will Double J have to say? Speaking of Shawn Michaels, he will be here next week to defend the IC Title against KING MABEL. Macho Man Randy Savage will also be back. Along with Johnny B. Badd. Along with THE BAD GUY, RAZOR RAMON in action. Plus, after escaping by the skin of their teeth, will Jim Cornette's Tag Team Champions continue their open challenge? All of that, and the latest on IN YOUR HOUSE. Next week on.....
  8. Bischoff is already putting the screws to the WWF by rewriting the back history of Luger over the summer. Forcing me to rewrite my Bulldog heel turn promo. Intriguing TV Title situation, can't wait to see who ends up deserving of the championship match down the line. It's going to be a tough decision with that list of guys. Should lead to tons of great action. Enjoyed all of the angles and promos to further things. 2 matches felt really light on action for me. The matches you did have were fun. Nitro is off to a fast start.
  9. A few small moves to get rid of some guys I have no need for that were picked up before I took over for the WWF. In their place I plan to grab some enhancement talents. First, the WWF drops King Kong Bundy, Abdullah the Butcher, and D-Lo Brown. More drops likely to come once I figure out who I can't work into the plans. The WWF wishes to pick up Barry Horowitz, the Brooklyn Brawler, Reno Riggins, Jim Powers, and Scott Taylor to use as enhancement talent. I'd also like to acquire Sir Mo in a managerial role.
  10. Looks like a fun debut show coming up. Interesting pairing of Martel and Konnan. Looks like some good tag action around the corner. If I were Flair, I'd bring some backup.
  11. Luger mentioned in the press release? Aww man, I was hoping for a "surprise" appearance on the debut edition of Nitro. I like the realism of Bischoff trying to move WCW out of being looked at as just "southern rasslin" by having Nitro debut in Cali. I think trying to run Arco Arena is a little ambitious for WCW at the time. The buzz around Nitro should help sell some tickets, but I was hoping we'd get the Mall of America. As a fan it just really POPPED and made Nitro and WCW feel different right off the bat. Even Vince said when he saw it he said something like "Oh boy, we're in trouble". Looking forward to War Games, anything will be better than the cartoony thing we got in real life. BRING IT, WCW!
  12. While this week's edition of WWF Monday Night Raw is preempted for the U.S. Open, Raw will return in it's usual Monday night time slot the following week September 11th @ 9pm est. And already announced for that episode.... * BRET "HITMAN" HART VS. JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER Now that the Hitman has ran off the King's royal Dentist, Hart looks to rid the WWF of Lawler once and for all... * THE WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS DEFEND THEIR TITLES IN AN OPEN CHALLENGE Owen Hart and Yokozuna continue to dominate the tag team scene. Who will accept the open challenge? * THE NEW ATTITUDE "BRITISH BULLDOG" DAVEY BOY SMITH TAKES ON THE 1-2-3 KID After turning his back on the fans, the Bulldog has been challenged by the Kid. * THE PHENOM, THE UNDERTAKER, IN ACTION AGAINST JACOB BLU He's regained the power of the urn, now can the dead man sustain the challenge of one of the Brothers Blu? * THE WWF DEBUT OF JOHNNY B. BADD He's sooooooo perty. * PLUS, YES! THE WWF RETURN OF "THE MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE!!! After nearly a year's absence, the Macho Man returns home to the World Wrestling Federation!!! Hear what he has to say. THAT'S ALL ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF...
  13. After learning of WCW's plans in creating a competing program to go heads up against the flagship Monday Night Raw program, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon has made the call to begin going LIVE every Monday night. Rather than tape several episodes at a time as has been commonplace for some time now, the WWF owner felt it necessary to keep up pace with the plans of WCW. While this will be a much more expensive venture, it is a smart move to try and maintain and possibly gain viewership with live programming every week. To save on expenses, Raw will return to the Manhattan Center full time (at least for now) to keep the travel cost of production minimal. With dirt sheets and the infancy of this thing called the internet, Raw Spoilers have been accused of slightly hurting ratings on the weeks the company airs pre-recorded episodes. One thing Mr. McMahon was unable to do was secure the usual time slot for his WWF Monday Night Raw program this coming Labor Day. Due to the USA network's contract with the U.S. Open, Raw will again be preempted this week as WCW Nitro will make it's debut live on TNT. WCW will have no excuses as all eyes will be on their debut episode of Nitro. If WCW President Eric Bischoff can produce a memorable first edition of the program, it could become a serious contender in the Monday night ratings.
  14. Am I the only one that thinks it's criminal that Brad Armstrong is on the Free Agents list? He obviously doesn't fit the WWF mold (yet) but I can't believe he went undrafted. He'd be great for anyone with a juniors/cruiser division or as part of some **** and better classics in ECW!
  15. I know Free Agency is frozen until tomorrow but I just wanted to announce some previously negotiated trades just in case I'm not around tomorrow. The WWF traded Saturn, Taz, Jake Roberts and Roddy Piper to ECW in return for Jeff Jarrett, The Roadie, Jerry Lawler & Jim Cornette (manager) ALSO, the WWF trades Scott Norton to WCW for Crush in return. I went ahead and updated the rosters to reflect these transactions. Hopefully saved Low Blow a couple minutes of work.
  16. Yeah, I only archived the much older Freelance threads. All of this years Freelance threads are right where they've always been.
  17. We'll go with September 1st as the date to move forward with roster moves, and what becomes of the WCCW and UWF rosters, and etc... By then we should have some fresh, new threads thrown together for whoever wants to have control of them. It looks like Awesomemiz will be heading ups WCCW as it stands at the moment. Feel free to discuss among yourselves what you feel should be done with the UWF roster if it goes unclaimed. I encourage EVERYONE to discuss to have your voice heard in the decision.
  18. Per Kevin, this was his updated roster... Atlantis Baby Doll: Manager Black Bart Bob Armstrong Bobby Eaton Brad Armstrong Buddy Landell Denis Condrey Dick Murdoch Dick Slater Ernie Ladd: Manager Fidel Sierra Hacksaw Reed Iceman King Parsons Ivan Koloff: Being traded to MACW on Oct. 15 Grizzly Boone Jack Brisco: Announcer/Manager Jack Kruger Jeff Jarrett Jerry Lawler Jim Cornette: Manager Junk Yard Dog Kendell Windham King Kong Bundy Konga Lex Luger Magnum TA Mike Rotundo Nikita Koloff : Being traded to the AWA on Nov1 Ole Anderson: traded to MACW on Oct. 15 Ricky Morton Robert Gibson Ron Fuller Ron Bass Ron Simmons Ron Wright: Manager Samu Skandar Akbar: Manager Scott Doring, Sean Royal Stan Lane Steve Keirn Steve Williams The Warlord Terry Taylor Wahoo McDaniel Jeff Sword Doug Vines Rocky Iaukea, Action Jackson, Brian Adams Tim Brooks, Jerry Bryant, Lou Winston
  19. Guys, I am REALLY trying here, but we're getting back to too many chefs in the kitchen. I have no desire to run the league whatsoever, but while I am in the process of organizing things I need you guys to let me take the reins for a few days until everything is where it should be. I'm in agreement with dawho 100%. I spoke at length with awesomemiz yesterday and already gave him the go ahead to put his name in for any open territory he so desired. Awesomemiz was made aware of the seniority rules and was willing to take the chance to see if he could get the WCCW. He's willing to lose out on the territory fair and square based on tenure, but I could see where these suggestions made to him sounded a little forceful, which I presume were not the intentions. And again, I am asking all ACTIVE writers to PLEASE PM me your updated rosters as they stand today so that I can put together the new Rosters/Transcactions thread. Thanks!
  20. Thanks guys, I thought I was blind or something. If you guys feel the private message way is best that's totally up to you. I was just going to suggest throwing together an itinerary thread. If you guys prefer the PM way that's perfectly fine, it's your league!
  21. No sweat Edger... Can anyone link me to where you guys book the World Champions. I found an old thread version that hadn't been used since 2017. Trying to locate it so I can make it more prominent and easier to find.
  22. Another topic that you guys may wish to discuss or document here is any deals that any current writer has made with either WCCW or UWF about upcoming trades that are set to take place. It's important to have these noted so whoever takes over these territories will know who they can expect to be leaving and coming into their promotion. My apologies, Edger is NWA President. Typo on my end! Thanks for the grief. lol
  23. Hey guys, new chatter thread has been created to keep things easier to find and topical for the time. This original thread is now locked, but it's always here for referencing and general trips down nostalgia street. Head on over to the General Chatter Thread V2.0
  24. 1. First, I wanted to address the recent discussion of some writers leaving the game. As it stands right now, both the WWF (Lowblow) and Lutte (SirEdger) will be staying on in their current territories. Lowblow will also continue on as "NWA President". The territories that have departed include WCCW and the UWF. 2. Because the UWF and WCCW are now vacant, there rosters are currently frozen. After speaking briefly with Lowblow, I am in agreement with him that both rosters should be frozen for a time of 2 weeks. That should give all current writers time to think it over and decide if they'd like to put in to write for one of these promotions. At which point those interested would receive these territories based on their seniority of tenure writing here in the league. Should one or both of these territories go unclaimed, Lowblow mentioned the idea of a dispersal type draft, but I will leave that up to you as a league to discuss, should the issue arise. The next two things are all about ORGANIZING and cleaning things up. 3. You may have noticed there's a new "Archives" folder in the Game Station area. That has been placed there to help us clean up the cluttered posts like older Freelance threads, old Japanese booking threads, pretty much anything that isn't currently relevant to the game. That should make everything easier to navigate through for both readers and the writers when trying to deal with the now. I'll be cleaning that stuff up for you guys this week. 4. It has come to my attention that the current rosters and other lists are outdated and inaccurate. I would like to request all currently active 1983 Project writers to please SEND ME YOUR UP TO DATE ROSTERS at your earliest convenience. I will be updating and putting together a new Rosters/Transactions/Free Agents thread for Lowblow or whomever wishes to handle that part of the game. You will have everything in one neat thread all at your fingertips so there's no more jumping from thread to thread to make moves or see who's available for hiring. This new thread will reflect pretty much every other fantasy league online. You will find it a 100 times easier than the current layout.
