Loved the SNME. A very strong roster and card. Nikita looked like a world beater in his position. Well booked too, everything seemed to be in the perfect place on the program.

Tombstoning midgets was a little advance for 1983 Portland in hindsight... lol. Well, this is some fun reading. Enjoying everyone except Ricky Vaughn, but that has nothing to do with your writing. lol Knoxville is looking to be in good hands.

Kamala is looking unbeatable here. Looking forward to more. -
Stacked roster with solid matches. Enjoying the creative teams and use of some of the main level guys.

Gene, Gene, the dancing machine! We go way back in these leagues brother and it's great to see you not only still active, but thriving! Big Austin Idol mark so enjoyed him here. Teddy Muscles, I love it! It's funny that fantasy writers can find creative ways to get guys over better than they were in real life. Arcidi is much better used here than anything Vince or Fritz had for him. Tough loss for Dickie Slater, curious to see how that continues to play out. -
How funny is it that your announcer is the same guy who constantly mentions the success of a wrestling promotion is "compelling characters and storylines". Creativity is key, and you've refused to just play things out based on real life and added twists to your teams, stories, etc. A thorough enjoyment for me to read.

Boon, you've come a long way from Don Muraco tombstoning midgets, my friend. lol Very fun roster. Good creativity on how you're utilizing everyone and the TV is well organized/has great flow. A good read!

It's great to see Lubich in this type of positioning. They played him off as a bland, and slow, referee in the twilight of his career in real life wrestling, but you're utilizing him by channeling his character abilities from his youth as a heel. That's getting the most out of your talent, even your referees. Love Watts here too. Suspension coming down, now you just need to add a fine and you'll have classic Watts. Good stuff.

Stopping by to check out some of your stuff. What you're doing with the top talent is a fun read, but I'm also really enjoying how you utilize talent that may not be seen as "quality" stars. Lots of creativity, and best yet nothing over the top. Really good stuff, looking forward to reading more.

I thought the latter part of the match was good, but overall I dunno... There were times it seemed like Windham wasn’t happy with Scorpio’s slow start. 2 Cold looked very lethargic out there early on, so much so that even Schiavone points it out. Once it was time for the comeback though, all was forgiven. Scorpio's unique aerial offense always woke the crowd up, no different here. Unfortunately, it was the only time in the match 2 Cold looked good. Barry was wise to control the duration, he was a true natural in the ring. I expected a LOT more from this match, but Scorpio was having an off night. If not for the hot and fast finish and Windham working his butt off to make the match look good, this could have really flopped. This was no classic, but I was really happy they were able to turn things around and kudos to Windham for making Scorpio stay with him.

[1973-06-06-Joint Promotions] Alan Sarjeant vs Clay Thomson

Had to fire this one up and watch it after your guys' reviews... Thoroughly enjoyable match and story. Magnum, do you have a list of matches you reviewed? I'd be curious to watch the matches. Thanks guys, good recaps! -
Agreed... always an amazing read...

I made that gif! Glad to see it's got some legs. No doubt it has legs. Absolutely insane bump. This, and the B&W springboardy tag match, made for some fun gifs! Thanks for sharing!

always a classic

I was wondering how Humperdink would work out in Memphis, and he fits in JUST FINE. Love Humpy's promos with Lance. Austin Idol, Landel, Troy Graham, Lawler, not just the Memphis "feel" but the best of Memphis going strong here.

Montreal is really getting off on a strong foot. Good wins here for Barbarian and The Rouggeaus. I like the duo of Brunzell and the rookie Lafon. Just a small thing, but shouldn't Armand automatically be included in the "Fabulous Rougeau Brothers" team and not be listed separately. I mean, he is a Rougeau brother so he should automatically qualify. Does Armand have to prove himself to be a full blown Rougeau?

Street vs. Ron Garvin sounds bad ass.... A shooter vs. a bad ass stretcher, not sure who has the edge but looking forward to a return match. Loved TV as well... Igot vs. Haystacks just sounds like an ICW match. Good stuff continues to come out of ICW

World Class Championship Wrestling Results

Love Bad News in Dallas. I've only been able to see your work writing for Japan when you were with my league, enjoying your World Class equally... Goof stuff Jesse. -
Can't tell you how elated I am to see you sticking with Landel and Gibbs as a team like in real life. WWC was where Landel got his first real bleach blond push. They made a pretty decent heel team over there. Also cool to see Haku over here, he was bad ass in WWC, Gorilla was always booking Tonga in Puerto Rico when he owned a part of the territory. Dick Slater here works for me. Easily a main eventer. Love the WWC.

This past TV did nice in setting up some of the bigger programs for your house shows... Enjoyed the Lawler/R&R vs. Sabu/Bruise Bros stuff.... Also, I've been reading in my league where someone has BigRed/Sweet Daddy Watts teaming, then I pop on here and see Big Red/Sweet Daddy O.... So I've come to the conclusion that Big Red just loves the Sweet Daddies no matter where I read, lol... To your credit, Sweet Daddy O is a WAY sweeter option than Watts.,... A guilty pleasure of a team for me, I suppose. Just happy to see someone using Levi Banks! Good stuff man. Enjoying Mempho sir...

Enjoying ICW. Being the "outlaw" promotion it always had a gritty smash mouth style to it. Enjoying it.

Robinson and Jumbo, Funk vs. Bock, even a nod to the youngster Misawa vs. Kawada. How can you go wrong with this TV? Good stuff!
-
Enjoyed the TV. The interviews hook the reader in and create interest/emotion. Makes it feel more real. Enjoyed the TV format especially. Good stuff, Masked Wildfire indeed.

Enjoying the TV layout and the format of your first big house show. Good use of the talent. Keep it up!
