DVDVR is at the point TSM was at about 3 years ago. 90% of the posters are complete wastes of space and there's 10% trying to make the board worth something.

  4. Yeah, I like the way Japan handles the belts too. My only complaint was Scorpio and Doug Williams not defending the GHC Tag Titles for six months last year.

You're missing the point though. You're encouraging him to do something on a board that went over poorly on a board where he's well known.

Not a shot. I'm just pointing out that Loss has been blunt before and people didn't like it.

You should just be more blunt, Loss. With this quote right here, you should've just told the fucker your point was that he was a hypocrite. I don't know. There were people on this very board that started crying when Loss got a little blunt over Edge as the WWF Champion.
  10. It's really sad that the WWF has so lowered the bar that someone like Mark Henry can be considered good for going out and not completely sucking week after week.
  11. The 80s matches haven't aged really well but I'll be honest and say stuff from 20 years ago has held up better than any of the Attitude era stuff has. The Attitude era is almost embarassing to watch now.
  12. This has always been the downfall of Vince. He almost never has one generation of stars put over the next. I mean there are guys that have been in the company for 15+ years like the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels who haven't put anyone over during their entire stays.
  13. Nah, there's been another one where I remember thinking "why the fuck is he commenting?" It might've been the 80s DVD or the Roberts one.
  14. Maybe it was the Jake Roberts one where he popped on at some point.
  15. I remember the WMXI one. I would agree that it wasn't worked. Shawn was working as a face and he tossed that guy pretty hard. I'm surprised no one sued over the incidents he caused.
  16. I know it's just a pipe dream. I just would like HHH to stop doing things on the DVDs. I really don't care what he thinks about the Road Warriors.
  17. They have Dibiase, Steamboat, Slaughter and Briscoe who all had to have worked with the guy to some degree.
  18. Why does HHH always have to fucking pop onto these DVDs? I'd rather actually hear from people that knew them while they were active.
  19. If the jump to USA and losing MSG didn't wake them up I don't know what will.
  20. Yeah but UPN is probably getting the same ad revenue out of some show pulling a 1.0. Plus Vince will probably demand too much money again like he did with Spike. I think Smackdown will be gone when the contract comes up and the brand split will end.
  21. It's my own opinion for the most part. Royce has been a part timer for the better part of 5 years while Hughes has been a top level guy for awhile now. Gracie's also going to be 40 this year so he's not a young man. I know Couture's still going strong in his mid 40s but he's the exception not the rule. I agree with your 7 to 1 odds against Gracie though. I'd never say never on him. It's still a fight I'd be interested in seeing.
  22. I'm not basing Gracie's decline on any fights. Just age mostly.
  23. That Necro Butcher vs. Bruiser Brody thread over at DVDVR made me shake my head in disgust earlier today. The fact that some people actually picked Butcher is just astounding to me.
  24. Thanks to the UFC special the Impact replay did a .9 rating which marks the first time the replay has had more viewers than the first airing.
  25. It's a combination of the two. Hughes is probably the best welterweight in the world right now and Gracie's fallen off.
