  2. I hope someone backstage noticed the crowd going mild when Batista mentioned winning the Rumble.
  3. Even if Bryan doesn't win, I am glad he is cleared. I am going to the show, and I really look forward to seeing him. Though, I totally hope he wins!
  4. I guess I should answer the question posed in my own thread. I am starting to think the Daniel Bryan concussion thing is a work, put out to make people believe that he won't even be in the Rumble, let alone winning it. I also think the "Batista is coming back and entering the Royal Rumble" stuff is meant to make everyone think he will win. Therefore he probably won't. So, I am saying Daniel Bryan. If he is not medically cleared to wrestle, Brock Lesnar wins the Rumble, says he is not waiting and demands his title shot at Elimination Chamber, then Bryan wins the Chamber to get the shot at 'mania. No matter what they really think of Bryan, I can't see them failing to capitalize on this while it is hot. Even if he ends up the Benoit route (winning the belt at Mania for the mega pop, then being demoted again a month later) if Wrestlemania doesn't end with Bryan holding the World Title and the crowd in attendance doing the YES chant, they are fools.
  5. I've asked this question a couple of times previously, but now that we are a week out, and things keep changing, I will ask it again. Who do you think is winning the Royal Rumble? Batista, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, the loser of Orton/Cena, someone else entirely?
  6. Undertaker and Kane vs Brian Adams and Brian Clark I was there live.......Uggggh
  7. A couple new discs for Goodhelmets Regal comp, covering his stuff since the end of WWECW would surely help me better decide how I feel about him.....
  8. I am expecting a huge TNA announcement where they reveal a dedicated Justin.tv channel to happen real soon.
  9. I saw that too, but they mentioned Home Video Library, so I assumed it will be the WCCW documentary they put out on dvd.
  10. The only thing they haven't mentioned yet is stuff like they were offering On Demand like old WCW and World Class tv.
  11. A 6 month commitment is really only the price of one PPV, still a pretty good deal.
  12. 10 bucks a month......
  13. I saw they were advertising this during Raw last night, so I figured it would be in every Wal-Mart. Neither of mine had it....Boo!

I'm really starting to think Batista isn't going to win the Rumble, simply based on how much they are pushing "Batista is coming back and is going to be in the Rumble." Seems to me like another situation where they are pissed the plans got leaked, so they are going to change the plans.
  15. Was I the only person that preferred Jannetty over Michaels during the days of The Rockers? Also... Smash over Ax Animal over Hawk Bobby over Stan (or Dennis)

I've been pondering the thought, and I am probably giving the writing team or whoever way too much credit, but... The Wyatt Family is already getting cheered. Bray keeps talking about "taking down the machine." Is it possible Bryan goes with the Wyatt's (turning them face or into a weirdo group of tweeners) and the lot of them go after HHH, Orton, and The Shield.....with Kane possibly playing a mole inside The Authority having already aligned with The Wyatts during his relatively unexplained absence after losing to Bray at Summerslam? They have to know that turning him heel isn't going to work, and him joining them as a ruse is really too obvious (which likely means it is what they are doing)
  17. My first and favorite wrestling related Christmas gift was a VHS copy of The 1987 Jim Crockett Senior Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament, in the giant clam shell packaging that VHS tapes used to come in. I no longer have a VCR, but I still have that tape. This year, I am receiving a copy of the "Shooters" book that got pimped heavily on this board some time back!

Make sure to catch The Wyatt Family vs Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust from tonight. Dustin busted out a huracanrana, and an Amazing Red style sunset flip powerbomb!!!

I have waited 25 years to see the Royal Rumble in person. If fucking Batista who I never liked, comes back after being gone for years, and wins the one I finally get to attend...I am going to be utterly disappointed.
  20. Considering Nigel's whole documentary was virtually that, I am not surprised. I used to be a big fan, but now every time he opens his mouth, my level of respect for him plummets.

Usually by this point in the year, there is a pretty solid consensus on who is going to be the Royal Rumble winner. But I have to say, it seems exceptionally hard to pick this year. A Cena repeat seems likely, but cases for Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Roman Reigns are definitely out there. If Batista is really coming back, a huge surprise return win wouldn't be totally out of the realm of possibility. There is also potential for a Sheamus return from injury win. If you guys had to make a pick right now, who you got?

That may be the single most entertaining thing that Randy Orton has ever done......
  23. So I've been watching a compilation of Mike Awesome matches, and it leads me to a question. How did he never get picked up by either of the big two in the states until after he made his ECW run? With his size, and ability, he would seem a natural fit.

Well, that ending went about a hundred different directions. I can already see the "OMG, Cena is turning heel and joining The Authority" posts happening on other board all across the internet. I also really hope they are not building to Punk/Bryan vs Michaels/HHH at Wrestlemania.
  25. I don't have specific examples, but it seems like every time Randy Orton gets brought up (be it in shoot interviews, or other media) everyone seems to think he is so great and special. I don't see it, I've never seen it, and I probably never will. I think the guy is mediocre at best.
