  1. That was random. 20 years since that RAW to the day this week but they haven't uploaded clips of darks like that besides the recent 5 debuts vid (AJ, Scott Hall, etc). Hopefully sign of more to come.
  2. New programming is the only thing that will pop a number. Not old stuff.
  3. KrisZ on Twitter linked to Colon vs Invader 1 from Aniversario 92 and Colon vs Flair 12-20-85 as well.
  4. I bet that thing gets scrapped. Pocket change at this point.
  5. That's probably what they're going for. Something close to a memorable "turn" is more likely to happen at an A-PPV than some B-PPV anyway, for historical and video package sake. Looking like a 4way more and more though.
  6. Was waiting to see those two names pop up. Along with Austin. I always liked super athletic 90s Rey more than bulkier 00s Rey. Natural inclination is to say he was a smarter worker in the 00s because of experience but his style had plenty of smarts to it in the 90s too.
  7. Cool heard about but never seen. Thanks for recap keep it going
  8. Vader 92-95 Rey 93-97 Shawn 94-98 Styles 14-Present Lesnar 12-Present
  9. One of the best chairs to the face of all time. Highly downloaded on weavil.simple net.com
  10. Wasn't crazy about any of the extras on list
  11. Shawn/Bret vs Lawler/Hakushi was one of mine from the Grails thread. The first Flair-Piper too. Bret/Warrior vs Papa Shango/Kamala was another that was in the thread. Pretty cool
  12. If they could somehow parlay the momentum they have now with everything they've got going on and tie in getting something out there that they are negotiating with Punk and/or Bryan, it could finally bring back the feeling of faux competition of two big promotions stateside. Between being able to bring in either of those guys at some point down the line, the California shows, the weekly TV on AXS but with current content, adding a US tour, building to Omega-Okada III, and keeping the Bucks fresh...things could be real fun again.
  13. If he doesn't win tonight then I figure he interferes in the finish of the title match at the next PPV.
  14. Wyatt seems like a sneaky sure thing to keep him strong. All the other guys feel like theyre in strong enough positions that they won't lose any upward momentum with a loss. I can't see Wyatt losing the belt, then coming to Raw and treading water for long.
  15. I think someone threw a dildo in the ring or something off camera. The ringside seats popped and someone on commentary said something. "You can't do that to me I'm Shawn Michaels"
  16. Would have met his wife there

    NXT talk

More of a Steve Blackman than CM Punk on the main roster. Either way, looks like a cool dude.
  18. The first Flair vs Hogan is a given. There was even a crate labeled 'Dayton' in the recent picture of Mooney at the studio/warehouse.
  19. At the time I felt like Barely Legal and the couple PPVs after it never delivered enough to match the hype ECW had in general. Heatwave 98 was the first one where it clicked the most from top to bottom.

    WWE Payback

The horrors match was booked for kids. End of story. Did nobody see Joe had a shoulder up the entire three count
  21. On the podcast with Ross recently, Michaels was super thought-out and clear when he was talking about coaching at the PC. It was the best I've ever heard the guy speak and didn't sound like any editing involved. Totally different from all the other talking spots he does. Scott Steiner is another big 'ya know' guy.
  22. The match CM Punk had was on youtube as a handheld.
  23. Ross' impressions of Stu Hart, Jerry Jarrett, Paul Boesch and Bill Wattsb and whoever the fuck else are actually funny
  24. The stuff I like the most is matches with guys in their perceived primes, like a Lesnar-Cena or Shawn-Bret. Matches when the guys are at their bests and close in physical and athletic ability. I love the Hogan-Rock match but its not that type, and to call something the greatest, I need that element.
  25. Picture Charles Barkley at 50 guarding Kobe Bryant at 30. I love that match for everything it was but I need some sense of real competition to call something the greatest.
