Is this going to be a once a week show? Curious as I look forward to a new episode on teh weekends as yardwork / driving / housework flys by listening to these... I will re-state what others have said...you have taken an era of WWWF TV and non main event stuff that I really had no care for and made me want to see it.. Curious how you all feel about the first Patterson / Backlund match being better than the much more famous cage match.

So I have seen a lot of Main Event matches listed.... What would be the best Main Event matches of the year so far? I just started watching it again, so need to catch up on that as well... Been checking out a TON of these matches, Gallows vs. Davis is my #1 so far from what I have watched....

I asked KHawk this as well, but figured I'd ask the board... The one Kids Klassics tape for the AWA I dont have is Sgt Slaughter's...but I know I have all the video that is on the tape... That being said...during the previews for the tape that can be seen at the end of any of the other ones, Slaughter does a bloody interview yelling at Larry Z, I think, saying "The last person that did this to me is pushing up daises..." What show was this interview on? What happened to him to get all bloodied...I am guessing Larry Z jumped him, but not 100% sure...dont want to search through hours of 85 and 86 footage to find it either... Anyone help?

Horsemen-Blonds in 1993 and Benoit-Angle at Insurrextion 2001 come to mind as well. Didn't MVP vs Benoit finish 2-0 as well? Yep. Also Beth vs Candice in 2007. Austin vs. Dustin Rhodes at Starrcade or Havoc '93 - one of them...

NEVER blasphemy Canonball Run as not memorable....EVER!!! That movie is the best he was EVER in!! LOL...Smokey is the best...but Canonball is really good to!!! Canonball worked at the time, but I wonder if in re-watch it will come across as a movie where they were doing a ton of booze and blow and just making shit up as they went along. And if you're going to watch a movie like that from that era, I like this more: Especially if you also get time to listen to the commentary track with Robert Zemeckis (writer & director), Kurt Russell (star) and Bob Gale (writer & producer) which might be my favorite commentary track of all time as they have shitloads of fun remembering making the movie. YES!!! Used Cars is THA SHIT! GREAT MOVIE!!

I am not a Sally Field fan...but god damn she was SMOKIN hot in that movie...I liked the Frog!!! The star though? Clearly was FRED!

Memphis (I know a lot of people wont agree with this, but as much as I like Memphis, the others are better to me and shit to put Memphis at 8 means PRO WRESTLING FUCKIN ROCKED in the 80's) Maritimes / Montreal / Vancouver All-Star are all gaining steam the more and more I see though..

Babyface get the upper hand at the end of the last two or three RAW / Nitro / Superstars / Thunder / etc... before the PPV, you know he is losing at the PPV... You get basically put down for your race for WEEKS and WEEKS and called not good enough to be a champion because of "your people" on TV by the champ..You will lose at the Biggest PPV of the Year....just ask Booker T in 2003 at Mania vs. HHH!! Maybe the second one isnt as prevalent....not sure though...

Sorry you arent starting to enjoy any of this....like I said, once this started (night after New Blood Rising...) I started to like things more and more...I didnt care about the actual working in the ring, just enjoyed the storylines and new things popping up...sure, there are huge bumps in teh road, but things gradually got better and better from this point on....I know once you get to Dec - Mar you will definately like it, but from reading your stuff, I dont think Sept - Dec will be as enjoyable for you.....but just take it for what it was and its not that bad! The NBT I enjoyed as something new, knowing they were fresh though was cool, and they had a great mouthpiece with one of the best Nicknames ever = "Above Average"...LOVE it. O'Haire had that sadistic look in his eyes and the two tag teams they had were fun. The Goldberg - Steiner stuff to me was in gear. I didnt give a fuck about the babyface / heel dynamic, just loved that they wanted to KILL each other and did shameful shit to each others loved ones to get what they wanted...props to Midajah for taking that bump.. The Rection - Lance Storm US Title feud I think builds better and better to a decent climax...but I like Hugh Morris's character at this time as he is only General Rection by name, but really he's Bill Demott in his promos, and I thought they were good...good mid-card feud to me... More and More to come that really starts to make it better and better... I forgot abot Nash's title win, but the ping ponging of the title comes to an end here soon and only two men will have it the rest of the way once Booker gets it back and then "the Man" Gets it! I had just graduated college and working at my new job at this time (Sept 2000) so I clearly remember being home Monday Night using NItro as a warm-up to RAW as Nitro was on at 8...I will say that I smoked "A LOT" of green stuff back then (and did until 2008), so that may have swayed my opinion...but I've watched it since and still enjoyed it for what it was since 2008.... One last thing that sticks out was the general look of Nitro...hard to explain, but they were in smaller buildings and it had a cool look to it of being not as big and not as flashy as their heyday anymore. Loved the mini tron as well...Stolen from WWF? Sure, but I didnt care...

Do you agree or disagree about his look in interviews and then seeing the whole package? Curious of your thoughts since you have seen a bunch of him...

Vordell Walker has been a favorite of mine for a few years...I first saw him on NWA from Hollywood in 2010 or 2011 I think...him and Damien Wayne I ahve always enjoyed and their matches together are solid affairs..He's been in the NWA National Title hunt or had the title for a while now. Would like to see him get a NWA World Title shot at a bigger show and see how he does...not sure why he hasnt.. How does everyone feel about Chance Prohpet? He has a great character in interviews and a good look (different type of face painting), but then seeing him (not a great physique) takes TONS away from the mystique of the character you see in his intense interviews (which are neck up). He should try a full suit ala Goldust and see how the character goes..

I gotta say though that you REALLY love wrestling to watch a few of these from teh way they were shot...like one camera in the 6th row from one angle shooting the whole match.. I just cant do that..I have tried, but cant!! So kudos to you and all who can watch those matches...they may be excellent, I just cannot get into them without better viewing areas....I bow to your love which totally supercedes mine at that point!

This would be cool to see, but no way WWE does something new and fresh like that!! As for the removing the belt...doing it once is fine....Bischoff just kept doing it over and over....if they do it tonight, it will depend how they do it and DONT DO IT AGAIN.. But this will never make it to Mania....way too much time until then...althought I wish with good booking it could get there....maybe WWE will prove me wrong.

I am psyched for tonight's RAW and the thought of HHH taking the belt back off of DB will make him even MORE hated...I think the general audience will still be really into this whole thing. They know DB won and can beat Orton, but the Regime and COO took it away on some "contingency" or something. Watching Orton take the belt back and say he never would have been beated without the ref issue will be gold as he's such an ass will look like an even bigger douche doing it. I hate Randy Orton, but want to watch when he's there now... So I am taking this week by week...I WANT a long drawn out thing, but with so many PPV's its gonna be tough with today's "I want it right now" society and attitude... I know DB wasnt keeping the belt, but I was surprised to see a straight up match with an end and not some run-ins....this is just getting going and I am enjoying it...
