I'm not sure about the wrestlecon shows.
-
Exactly.

The ROH show , but it won't be up on VOD till Tuesday.

Usually they have pricing 4 just the live broadcast, live and VOD, and VOD. I don't know the pricing though. Usually in the 9.99-14.99.

Daiki Inaba vs. Shinjiro Otani from the 03/13 WRESTLE-1/ZERO1 cross-promotional show I really liked this match too. I'd say it was in the 4 1 /4* range. Inaba was a nice plucky babyface why Otani was the long standing veteran, Otani just beats on him throughout. Inaba would get some hope spots and nice timed comebacks. Of course Otani would cut him off. Eventually, he would start working over Inaba's shoulder which is taped up big. I loved the last 1/2 of this. With Otani just destroying the shoulder and Inaba is outstanding in his selling of it. It's not a match with a bunch of bells and whistles, but it tells a great story with great execution.

They just announced reDragon vs The Addiction. So I'm not sure who they'll give us as a singles match. It leaves Moose, Lethal, and Elgin for singles matches and Moose is green, and Elgin and Lethal are hit or miss to me. The 6 man was a surprise and ate up a few of the singles pairings I was expecting.

All faces.

Another match signed that makes sense since Patron and Sydal are banged up. Patron/Sydal/ACH vs Strong/Briscoes

Good job Parv. I'm very happy you've taken some of my booking suggestions and used them to achieve cult status.

On Meltzer audio he thinks Brock worked ESPN into thinking he was announcing he was going back to UFC and instead announced he resigned with WWE to get on ESPN.
-
I'm excited that they booked the Killer Elite Squad vs. War Machine for the tv tapings in San Antonio on 4/4/15

Sting in a scripted enviroment was pretty good on the mic.

What?! That seems random as hell. What am I missing? I don't remember there ever being a great friendship between them, either on or off-screen (Foley's books, etc.). I thought in Foley's book he mentioned mentoring Nash a bit and even road with him from time to time.

The ROH tv this week was again really good. We got 2 really good matches with Strong vs Fish and Jay Briscoe vs Jimmy jacobs. Dalton Castle is a fun character who has a chance to be a real fun addition to ROH. ROH tv is really can't miss right now.

Parv you should be using a pencil not a pen when booking.

Make it 2.

The Chicago card was another real strong show. One thing I've noticed the last few months is that the quality of wrestling on the ppv's isn't that much better than a lot of the tv and VOD shows. They'll really need to do something to make the ppv's must see. Jay Diesel vs. Will Ferrera An okay match. I want to see Ferrera in a tag team. He seems to have potential as a worker. 2 1/4* ACH vs. Jimmy Jacobs I liked this match a lot. Both guys brought it and had a real good match. One little slip up by Jacobs outside, but this was really compelling. They do a good job at showcasing ACH, and keeping him in the mix. 3 1/2* Silas Young vs Roderick Strong vs Matt Taven vs Mark Briscoe This was just an all action match. Just loaded with hot moves. A little complaint that keeps it from going over the top was the spamming of finishers. Still it was a 4 way so I can live with it easier than a one on one match. The finish with Silas getting his legs up on a Briscoe froggy elbow drop was anticlimatic with all the big moves here. Still I loved this match. 3 3/4* Jay Lethal vs Cliff Compton This was a street fight. Lethal shows up in some nice duds. He ends up in his skivvies by the end of the match. I liked this, but it should have been shorter since we got a lot of similar brawling and weapons. The interference made sense since it was no DQ. Lethal's elbow through a table was a pretty awesome spot. 3 * Beer City Bruiser vs Cheeseburger These guys are a great distraction from all the workrate in the promotion. I'm not a fan of comedy in my title matches, but they work perfect here. Both have good characters and get over with the crowd. Jay Briscoe vs. Silas Young My friend Johnny Sorrow loved this match. It didn't do anything for me. I'll give it a relook at a later date. I do like Young as a character, just not into his work. 2* reDragon vs Roponggi Vice I'm combining both segments here. Well this was great. It had comedy, southern tag structure, hot moves, great drama, and storytelling. It starts out slow and we get some comedy spots. Both teams do the old MX/Cornette hugging spot to 2 different reactions. We got the traditional faggot chant(which I'm not endorsing) when the heels reDragon did it. When Roppongi Vice the faces did it the fans chanted best friends which was pretty funny. It transitions to the meat of the match and again Barretta makes a real convincing FIP. Barretta and Romero compliment each other well. They also have a pretty killer finish. The proving ground for the title was just a pretty hot run. 4* Samoa Joe vs Michael Elgin This was a real hard hitting match. I loved Joe having Elgin in a wristlock and delivering headbutts. That was nasty. The rear naked choke suplex was just nasty. 3 1/2*

Most of the drops down the card Will is because they're heels. Now looking at babyfaces the only ones who slid down the card are Benoit, and Bret. Once a heel gets beat by the babyface in WWE they move down the card again until it's time to heat them up.

A strong show boys. The energy level is off the charts. I knew Parv was going to love that opening tag.

Dressing up as a wrestler will not get you laid.
shoe replied to The Thread Killer's topic in Pro Wrestling Mostly
The talk of costumed fans is topical for the WWE right now. Not if they're capable of getting laid in said costume. If people want to engage you on the topic and If you want to defend your statement it doesn't need to derail current WWE. I'm not taking away anyone's platform . I just don't want a big thread derailed.
