  1. Eddie Guerrero too.
  2. In the Observer their's speculation they only have him for a handful of dates because he's expensive. More speculation was if Court Bauer got Del Rio to come in at a cheaper rate. So I guess time will tell.
  3. Plus you could shoot it at Full Sail during NXT tapings.
  4. I'm not really arguing for that, as I happen to like Charlotte and think she's really good. But, it's kind of like how even though I liked Johnny B Badd in 1995 and thought he was really good I wouldn't take him over Brian Pillman or watch the two of them and think Badd was more the all world talent just because at that stage he came across as more athletically gifted in the ring, I get that . I was thinking more that eventually both could be pushed at the top of the Divas division akin to Lita , and Trish. Personally I think Charlotte had more upside and potential. When given the ball on the specials she's grabbed the brass ring . Off the success of Total Divas you'd think they'd give the girls a show for an hr or even 30 minutes on the network .They might get subscribers who watch Total Divas to see the girls wrestle.
  5. Danny Trejo looked to be having fun in the front row.
  6. Personally I don't see why it's an either or situation.
  7. I moved all the Charlotte and Sasha talk to it's own thread.
  8. Will I want to point out I didn't open on the ladder match. Sorrow's setup didn't work during the Flintstone gimmick talk.

The New Day vs. Cesaro/Tyson Kidd tag on Main Event was pretty damn good. Cesaro/Tyson Kidd vs The Usos is what I want to see.
  10. If they went and built the match around the eye injury the finish might not have comes across so hokey. The audience might have bought into the finish like the camera and Jake Roberts and DWB in SMW. The audience cares about both of these guys enough that they didn't have to do the stunt show to follow a show full of stunts. They could have seperated themselves from the rest of the card by telling a story the audience could sink their teeth into. It didn't happen, maybe we'll get it at the Rumble.
  11. I finished watching Destruction in Kobe and this was a great show. NJ really knows how to to build a card to maximize all the wrestlers, and maximizing their impact. I'm just going to do some quick notes on each match. Young Bucks and Yujiro Takahashi vs. Forever Hooligans and Tomohiro Ishii 3* This is a fun sprint of a match. They cram a lot in for the time they got. I thought this was a good opener. Alex Shelley, Maximo and Bushi vs. Taichi, Desperado and Taka Michinoku N/R Seemed more like an angle. It went 3 minutes. Jushin Thunder Liger, Tomoaki Honma, Satoshi Kojima, Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Manabu Nakanishi, Yuji Nagata, Tiger Mask and Captain New Japan 2 3/4* This was a real blast. It was total chaos and everyone is paired off. We get hot moves and is a real crowd pleaser. We get a Honma pinfall which the crowd loves. Toru Yano and Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Minoru Suzuki and Takashi Iizuka 1 1/2* This is a match that gets booked a lot. Sakuraba and Suzuki really looked here. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: Kushida © vs. Ryusuke Taguchi 4 1/4* This was really good. It was fast paced and all the submission work was a ton of fun. The finish was real cool as well. Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito vs. Tama Tonga and AJ Styles 3 1/2* This was another hot match. These guys got more time so we got to see things develop and get proper payoffs. AJ is looking great in NJ so far. IWGP Tag Team Championship: Kazuchika Okada and Yoshi-Hashi vs. Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson 3 1/2* This is another good one. This one had a real good structure to it. The Bullet Club members have good double teams move. Plus they have a bad ass aura about them. Okada of course is Okada. Togi Makabe vs. Hirooki Goto 4 1/4 * What a war. These guys kicked the shit out of each other. You really got sucked into it. Plus the jaw story of Makabe was good stuff. The finish was a real battle and sucked you in. Great match. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi 3 3/4* This was a good match. Meltzer gave it 5 * and it's got some MOTY traction around the net. Obviously, I didn't feel it at the MOTY level. Still it was good. WGP Intercontinental Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bad Luck Fale 4* Nakamura has so much charisma. He's like the Jim Morrison of NJPW. This was tremendous. Nakamura got more out of Fale than anyone could. This told a story and was laid out well. Fale using his weight and working the back was done really well. Nakamura's timing on his comebacks were perfect. They had a strong body and built to a hot finish. I can't put over how huge it was to get this out of Fale.

The key is a lot of fans think they have bad creative. The key is does Vince know the creative is lacking? If he doesn't the 3 hrs won't bother him, and he wants the extra cash.
  13. See that's what they should be aiming for the kids audience. When they get away from that they lose money.
  14. As long as Scrappy Doo isn't in it, Is it possible to have a bad Scooby Doo cartoon? Plus I have a feeling you relate to Shaggy. Lol
  15. I just watched the Tag wars t.v show. The wrestling on the show was good in all 3 matches. I thought the Young Bucks vs. ACH and Sydal match was fun with some real impressive high spots. You wish they could have split up the Tag wars across a few shows because the show came across samey and make the payoff that more special.

Funny since he had a new shirt last night Alvarez could easily be wrong.

On Alvarez's show he claimed WWE put a stop on Brock's merchandise, and to produce Shemus ones in its place. People think Brock's going to Bellator for a bit and eventually back to the WWE. This could change a lot of what they're going to do going into Mania.

    yep
  19. Or he clicks/lucks into the right gimmick like Glen Jacobs with Kane.
  20. Plus it wouldn't shock me if we got Reigns -Show in February .
  21. How can you defend stuff like Dean Ambrose jobbing to a monitor and Big Show going over Rowan? That was just awful and really brought down the PPV. Dean Ambrose is such a loser at this point Is Rowan really a guy that has a future? Based on the finish of the Cena/Rollins match, I expect the plan was to try and put a little heat on Big Show before feeding him to Reigns. I liked Ziggler/Harper the best but I also thought Ryback/Kane was better than people are giving it credit for. I didn't want to see Show go over Rowan, but the booking made sense for later in the show.
  22. Are we going all Dundee/Lawler here.
  23. Overbooked, but the best use of Reigns since he got the rocket on his back.
  24. I liked the stair match a pair of hosses bearing on one another was fun. I wanted Rowan to go over though.
  25. The Tope' into the ladder was sick.
