  1. Those Andre promos were fun. The visual with the pen was priceless.
  2. Posted Today, 04:13 AM Buzz vs Chavo I was really looking forward to checking this out. We get some mic work from both guys with Buzz really getting to the crowd. We see Chavo working a mid-atlantic style match. Chavo is working the arm. Every now and then he'd go after the arm really hard, but for the most part was content to just latch onto an arm bar. Buzz for his most part helped helped with the narrative of the match. He'd drop an elbow and miss and Chavo would work the arm. Another point Buzz charged Chavo into the corner, miss him, and then take a shoulder bump into the corner. Buzz cheats to get the heat. He slams Chavo on the floor. Starts working the back. Irish whip into the guard rail and back the back. Unfortunately no finish is recorded. Overall I liked the match. It told a story. Just lacked a spark. 3*

  6. 2/28/16 Beyond Chris Hero vs Jonathan Gresham 4 3/4* This was a stone cold classic. I loved how early this started out as a baby face style match. Early on Gresham has the advantage working the mat and going after the leg. This was all good at setting the ground work. Hero doesn't like how it's going. Hero gets into his head, with some taunts and bulling.Hero turns this into a striking contest. This style totally favors Hero. Gresham is really good eating all of Hero's strikes and beatings. He's fantastic selling all of this. Hero is amping up the assholyness. Hero is bullying Gresham and the crowd. Gresham makes a comeback on a Hero miscue. Gresham is destroying the leg. Just totally chopping the tree down. The build to the finish is fantastic. What a great match with a great story.
  7. 9/25/16 Inspire Pro Ray Rowe vs Sammy Guevara 4 1/2* This was one hell of a match. As Brad W. mentioned to me it reminded him of Taker vs HBK 97. Before Sammy even gets into the ring he rips up some little kids sign in the audience. We see Rowe dominating early. He's using his power with an array of nasty types of strikes. Sammy hits a beautiful no touch flip dive onto Rowe. Being all cocky he tries a tope' and Rowe catches him and plants him. Now Rowe is on a tear and is just killing Sammy. Sammy is taking a beating. Rowe's strikes are nasty. Throughout Sammy would get some hope spots only to get cut off with a nasty strike or power move. Sammy takes some serious punishment. Sammy is kicking out of some big moves and Rowe's face tells it all. Sammy scores the win, and we get a really interesting post match. 4 1/2*
  8. I thought this was a good meat and potatoes underneath match. I liked Monte's fire. He showed some charisma in the match. He had a swelled up Ron Glass look. I enjoyed the rope running spot where they teased a punch. Monte went after the dutchman's arm. I liked the arm work. Monte was focused on it. He did some fun jumping punches to the arm. Dutch of course was good here . He did a good job of making Monte in the loss. 2 1/4*

  10. I really loved this match . The opening match the arm work from both guys was really good mixed in with some grappling. Lothario's selling of the arm was really awesome. I also liked Jose's ring positioning to keep his arm away from Krupp. This was also Krupp's best match I've seen. The claw gets put over big here. The 2nd fall it starts to escalate. The heat, and the hate both growing. Jose is out for revenge. The finish was brutal with Jose nailing Krupp coming off the top rope with a brutal punch. He follows up with another punch. The 3rd fall and it's a total brawl. The ring couldn't contain both guys and we get a double count out. Just a fantastic match. 4*

  12. Dory vs Moon I enjoyed this match. Dory working over the arm was well done. I marked out huge when Dory would throw big European forearms at Moon's arm. I especially liked Moon's selling of those like he's been shot. Moon using dirty tactics to get a little advantage. Dory's Butterfly Suplex was tremendous. The finish was pretty weird though. 2 1/2*

  14. Thanks for the date.
  15. This is your match just to get Somoa over and that's what we got.
  16. The Blade Runners turn out to be Sting and Ultimate Warrior. Both guys are in the WWE HOF, and Sting this year got into the WON HOF. Here you really don't see their appeal Maybe a little with Sting. The match is pretty boring. With the heels being pretty green, and the faces that are pretty young to the business too. So we get this match. The highlight was Eddie Gilbert's promo.
  17. Steven no reason to be that way. How about being helpful .
  18. Midnight Rider is Duggan and this is just a total squash.
  19. I loved the hidden gems of Houston upload. The Sheik/Gary Hart/Pail Boesch segment was fantastic and was fun, unscripted, and so Houston. Charlie Cook was next, and it was what it was. Then it was Lord Alfred Hayes who looked a lot like Tracy Smothers here cuts a great promo. He had tons of charisma, and was very dynamic.

  21. Chavo vs Twin Devil #2 I liked this. I really enjoyed Twin Devil #2's offense as a counterpoint to Chavo's flash. #2 used rudo tactics throughout. His hair pull spot was one of the better ones I've seen. The monkey flips he took from Chavo got some series air on them. On top of it we got some twin magic with #1 coming in selling. I thought that was a nice touch. 2 1/2*

  23. It's what comes off the reels. All of this stuff helps flesh out Houston wrestling.
  24. This is your basic 70's style match where we see a lot exchanging of holds. I did enjoy the bit of arm work that Dusek did in the match. Spoiler delivers this nasty looking big boot. It looked like it knocked Dusek loopy. I enjoyed the set up at the finish. I loved Spoiler snapping Dusek's neck on the rope to follow up with a top rope forearm to the neck. 2*
