Here us explain why it clicked. Then they breakdown the latest FIP show and ROH ASE. The guys breakdown the matches and give star ratings. Fall 3 Johnny is back and talk all stuff WWE. Their's some gushing over Charlotte. Some serious love thrown at Smackdown. The angle on NXT that neither of us saw coming. 00:00:30 Fall 1 00:16:37 Tony Atlas v Gino Hernadez 00:26:56 ROH tv 00:40:35 Fall 2 00:46:13 Lucha Underground 01:06:20 CWF-Mid Atlantic 01:23:55 FIP All or Nothing 2016 01:55:00 ROH All Star Extravaganza VIII 02:32:20 Fall 3 02:39:45 NXT 03:05:28 RAW 03:36:06 SD! 2. The 6 man was fun. Mansfield gives off a Dynamite/Bobby Eaton vibe to me.
  3. This is the 2 ring gimmick. So it's really hard to follow, and hard for the wrestlers to tell a story. With that said this was a lot of fun. Eddie Mansfield continues to impress. I got a total Bobby Eaton/Dynamite Kid vibe off him.
  4. I hope we get an option for more classic content.
  5. Slater has a rep as being one of the best workers of the 70's. We don't have a lot of footage of him from the 70's so I'm excited. He looks trimmer and in great shape. Everything Slater did in the 1st fall looked hurty. It made sense and was crisp. Madril played Steamboat lite . It had a real Mid-Atlantic feel. With Madril using arm drags and arm bars. The 2nd fall seemed off. I didn't find it very compelling. The 3rd fall was a ref stoppage because of Madril's injured arm. 2 1/2*
  6. Gary Hart is with the heels, and this is by far the best he's looked in the footage. Hart has never been about the bumps to me. He's been about his projection of Evil. The crowd here is insanely hot for this match. Like nuclear and the heels know how to stoke that flame. In the 1st fall we get an early shine. The heels cut Lothario off and just beat him down. Here it's really neat. Instead of hope spots, Lothario gets hope punches. This was really neat. He gets a hot tag to Madril and shows some fire.He gets cut off and they just destroy the leg. Madril is just worked over for a bit. He hot tags to Lothario and the crowd erupts, then goes silent when Murdoch just nails him with a punch. This leads to the finish, The 2nd fall the faces score a quick flash pin. The heels protesting here really puts it over. The 3rd fall and the crowd heat is nuclear. The heels just get mega heat and beat on the faces. The crowd erupts when Madril spears Hart. Faces go over, and the crowd goes crazy. Heels post match attack the champs . This was just great stuff. Murdoch and Lothario really shined in the match. 4 1/4*

  8. I thought the ppv was great. No bad matches. Everyone worked hard.
  9. Dick Murdoch and Jose Lothario on opposite sides of the ring in a tag sounds great.
  10. This may very well be my MOTY but I don't think I could describe it as a brawl. Don't see it as a full fledged brawl but certainly see the skeleton of the match being revolved around the brawling and the blood and hatred that was portrayed by both. I think the near falls and use of lucha storytelling make it transcendent. I can buy into that.
  11. I could. With all the blood and how personal it was.
  12. http://placetobenation.com/this-week-in-wrestling-100216/ Fall 1 Pete and Johnny look at the NWA ON Demand match of Eddie Gilbert vs John Tatum. The They talk about ROH TV. Is the Christopher Daniels promo belong in the all time great promos of wrestling History? Did Kevin Sullivan take Johnny's booking idea of him and Bray Wyatt and work into ROH? Hear what the boys think? Fall 2 Pete and Timothy talk about the live Indy's show they went to. Pete talks up a fun Inspire Pro show he went to. While Timothy talks about AWS Ladies Night. Then they break down the current episode of Lucha Underground. Are they getting stale? Hear what the guys say. Does CWF Mid Atlantic put on another great tv. Check out the takes from the guy. Then we finish up with the PWX show that had Anthony Henry vs Matt Riddle on. Is it a MOTYC? FALL 3 It's all WWE. Find out who the true MVP of Smackdown is? Recaps of NXT, RAW, Smackdown, and the crown jewel. Talking Smack? Did Cena channel his inner Jerry Lawler here? 00:00:30 Fall 1 00:03:51 NWA Classics "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert v "Hollywood" John Tatum 00:13:33 ROH TV 00:30:43 Fall 2 00:54:40 Lucha Underground 01:04:40 CWF-Mid-Atlantic Worldwide 01:16:40 PWX Redemption 01:42:06 Fall 3 01:42:24 WWE Ride along 01:53:50 NXT 02:16:55 WWE RAW 02:46:11 SD! 13. This is for Steamer's Mid Atlantic title. Parv had a problem with how the finish played out. Well they couldn't do his scenario because Steamer is the champ. This is structurally weird we see the heat segment 1st. The heat works because it isn't fancy, but is full of shortcuts and cheating. Still a bit underwhelming. Sure we didn't see much from Stevens here. Still at his point he's like Flair from RAW in 2004. Still he had the psychology and timing. Steamer was great in his selling. His arm work was magnificant. I wish though we would have had the Koloff match. 3 1/4*
  14. Totally sucked me in.
  15. 9/17/16 PWX Matt Riddle vs Anthony Henry 4 1/4* Riddle is money. The guy gets better and better. We get some fun grappling early. Both guys throwing kicks.was great. At one point Riddle looks like he murders Henry with a knee. This set up his kick ass looking deadlift Germans. Henry does this TKO toss that Henry does that my description doesn't give it justice. Henry then does a bullet Tope'. This sets up his around the world dropkick that he stops short on to heel it up. Henry hits a sick piledriver on the floor. Henry is now focusing on the neck. Both guys are shooting for submissions. Henry hits this Dragon Sleeper out of nowhere. This was worked so beautifully.
  16. 9/4/16 IWRG Canis Lupus vs Trauma 1 5* This was a Mascara Contra Mascara. This was just an epic hate filled brawl. This is the type of match that makes you go this is real. Epic brawl .
  17. Lol, thanks I had no clue.
  18. Mansfield vs Conway Jr. I'm totally with Matt D. Right off the bat with Mansfield's bump and taking the arm drag I totally got a Randy Savage vibe mixed in with some Dynamite Kid. Then I thought he could have been a big time player in a tag team with Buddy Rose, Tom Pritchard,Rip Rogers or Ken Timbs. The 1st fall was fun but lacked a narrative. Now the 2nd fall we get a narrative. Mansfield starts to work the back. This was done pretty well. In the 3rd fall Conway has a fiery comeback. Then in revenge spots goes after the back. This begins to feel like these guys had too much time to fill. The match goes off the air while in progress. Clearly, Mansfield looked pretty damn good. I think he would be great in a 15 -20 minute match.

This looks like a real good card. It has a little bit of everything for everybody. It's a total 3 ring circus. I'm super happy because it has a lot of talent from the Texas. Texas has a lot of talent right now. I'm from Texas so I've watched a lot of wrestlers from Texas. The Texas Indy scene has been producing talent for ROH. We've seen ACH,Ray Rowe, and recently Keith Lee, and Shane Taylor. On this card they have Sammy Guervara, Andy Dalton, and Ricky Starks on the card. These are 3 of the best on the Texas Indy Scene now. Their are other guys on this card that get booked in Texas a lot. Some of them are the Hooligans, Jason Cade, Aaron Solow, and Donovan Danhausen. If you have time check the show out. http://wwnlive.com/event-fip-09-30-16.html

  23. David vs Gino This was easily on of the better DVE matches I've seen. This is the DVE that was a blue chipper and future NWA champ. Of course he's working Gino so that couldn't hurt. In the 1st fall DVE's arm work is really good and focused. Gino was great at eating all of the arm. I loved the finish with David dropping 3 knees from the top onto Gino. The 2nd fall sees Gino go after David's arm with revenge spots. The 3rd falls finish was incredible. We see Tiger come out and throws ink in Gino's eyes for the pin. This was a tremendous match 3 3/4*

  25. http://placetobenation.com/this-week-in-wrestling-9-25-16/ Pete, Johnny, and Timothy are back with another jam packed this week in wrestling. The first starts with NWA on Demand and a look at the Tito Santana vs. Nick Bockwinkel match. The fall closes with a check in on ROH tv. How is the build to All Star Extravaganza? Fall two has Timothy and Pete discussing another Trevor Lee title defense and a look at the latest PWG DVD release. Timothy had high praise live for the Kyle O'Reilly vs. Zack Sabre Jr. title match, did those thoughts hold up on tape? Fall three is all WWE as we look at the final build to Clash of Champions and the really strong wrestling on SmackDown. 00:00:30 Fall 1 00:01:50 NWA on demand Tito Santana v Nick Bockwinkel 00:15:39 ROH tv 00:22:52 Fall 2 00:34:45 Lucha Underground 00:53:49 CWF-Mid Atlantic 01:08:11 PWG 13 01:42:38 Fall 3 01:42:49 NXT 02:00:52 Raw 02:20:00 SD!/Talking Smack
