  1. We just dropped Episode 2 of the Podcast https://redcircle.com/shows/be34c05b-8483-4797-af55-5ec4bd254611/episodes/e6893340-ca4b-4ee9-9f3b-9947e5512823 I discusses Yuki Ishikawa vs. Daisuke Ikeda from FUTEN with Daniel Makabe
  2. We are putting together a link file, should have that available today or tomorrow
  3. Tommy Gilbert really intrigues me
  4. Anybody who needs any of the matches, just hit me up. I got em all
  5. Cool! What matches peaked your interest? I can send links or files for anything you want to see.
  6. Commando Negro/Canis Lupus I think at least worth considering. He has a long run as a solid midcard rudo in IWRG, and when he has been given a chance to shine in big matches, has been part of some real classics. He made my book twice, with the El Pollo mask match and the Trauma 1 mask match and the Chico Che hair match is also very good. Feels like a guy with those three big highlights on his resume (and I need to see if the Freelance hair match is on tape as well) should be in the discussion. vs. Chico Che 9/10/10 vs. El Pollo 12/26/10 vs. Trauma 1 9/14/16
  7. First Podcast is out https://redcircle.com/shows/way-of-the-blade Eric and I discusses Killer Karl Kox vs. Dick Murdoch from AJPW 12/9/76
  8. Just missed the cut I do have Aja vs. Hotta, Kudo vs. Toyota and Kandori vs. Hokuto though for Joshi
  9. Also one of the main goals in the book was to introduce people to cool shit they haven't heard of or seen. You may have never heard of Adolf Kaiser or Michael Chaisne, but hopefully now you know about them and maybe folks can discover new favorites. Here is that match BTW, it is incredible stuff.
  10. The Lightning Kid vs Jerry Lynn match is from Minnesota Indies not Global. If anyone wants to guidance on how to find any of the matches in the book DM me on here and I can send links/files
  11. Black in White in both. Color printing especially in the amount we would need for all of the art was prohibitively expensive.
  12. My first book is out on Amazon! I cover 100 of my favorite bloody matches. From Wrestlemania to a Junkyard in Mexico. The art is incredible, and I am really proud of the work that got put into it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/173494594X?&linkCode=shr&tag=hybridshoot-20&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_shr&creativeASIN=173494594X&camp=213733&creative=393177&linkId=1333786b5c004c6428b89748a01a79ae
  13. Get IWTV, there are a dozen or so promotions on there who have weekly style television, all of whom have better talent then the NWA and wouldn't hire a Fox News sex pest either. Watch PPW or AIW or Action
  14. Dominic Garrini He is a guy who is at the start of his career, still has stuff to learn and will be adding to his case clearly, but thinking about it he has had a really great list of top matches. There are plenty of people who have been nominated who don't have a match as good as the I Quit match with Bishop or last months war with Eddie Kingston. I also have really enjoyed him doing straight grappling heavy shootstyle stuff in PPW. Dominic Garrini vs. Cain Justice CWF Mid Atlantic 2/25/17 Dominic Garrini vs. Joshua Bishop AIW 4/4/19 Dominic Garrini/Kevin Ku vs. To Infinity and Beyond SUP 10/9/20 Dominic Garrini vs. Eddie Kingston AIW 4/3/21
  15. Wait NWA has a subscription service and it doesn't include the Houston footage? Fuck those guys
  16. He has had a heck of last five years as he has moved into the touring lucha indy scene and is consistently one of the best performers on the small shows which end up on youtube. Just had a classic with Black Terry. Kind of reminds me of lesser Rey Jr., spectacular high flyer in his youth, tremendous veteran as he got older
  17. Pretty crazy that I was arguing something along the lines of "How can we expect a 68 year old man to still put on incredible performances" and then I watch a 68 year old man put on an incredible performance. What a fucking legend
  18. I just watched that to try to find a 2020s Terry classic, and it was incredible. His performance in that match was as good as the stuff a decade ago, and Marvin was great too. It's on IWTV if folks have that, and pretty much a must see.
  19. He is also 68 years old, I mean even if he hasn't had great matches in the latter half of his 60s, I don't think we can hold that against him. He was having Match of the Decade contenders in the early part of his 60s.
  20. I know this is entirely on ringwork, but I do think we need to take into account that Christian was one of the five biggest stars of the Attitude era.
  21. Dominic Garrini has been improving a lot, and has been doing some really fun stuff as both a stiff brawler and a shootstyle worker. His match with Kingston last weekend was a classic
  22. I mean Juventud Guerrera has a thread, but no one seriously considered him in that thread. Juvi also had an amazing couple of years and not a ton outside that time. Although you could find more good post-prime Juvi, then post-prime Rude who had his career cut short by that injury
  23. Matt mentioned that new Race NWA title match in the Race thread, and man what a bag of shit that was. Ted was outside my list anyway, but Matt reminding me of that match puts a nail in his coffin.
  24. I think Rude's run is just too short to put him on a list of the 100 greatest wrestlers of all time. I think if it was 100 greatest 5 year peaks, you can make the argument, but honestly a couple of good years, when you compare it to guys who have had 20+ year careers, I just don't think he has a chance. It has to be Volk Han level stuff, and Rude was never that.
  25. NWA Anarchy is a bit of a footage black hole, I was able to track down the NWA Elite vs. Devil's Rejects War Games for my book, but most of Anarchy doesn't seem to be available, and there are some killer match ups in that fed
