  1. I try to watch CMLL every week, at least the Friday shows. Used to watch all 3 but I find Puebla boring and the Tuesday shows are hit and miss. I stopped watching AAA almost completly after Triplemania last year. Too much rudo ref even for me and I'm not a big fan of a lot of the guys except Pentagon and Aerostar. I watch IWRG sometimes. Big fan of the Cerebro Nego vs El Hijo Del Diable feud from earlier this year. I try to watch the Freelance matches when he comes in. Also watch any Monterrey that gets uploaded. A lot of it is hit and miss but I just love the atmosphere. Like in last week's Cien Caras vs Rayo de Jalisco Jr match. They didn't lock up for 10 minutes and Cien's first move was a knee to the groin. Does WWC count as Lucha? That's my favorite promotion in the world right now.

  3. My biggest wrestling guilty pleasure is Konan Big. He's this 50 year old jacked up part time wrestler and also guest host of a tv show in Monterey Mexico. He's a big draw there and wrestles all kinds of people, men, women, 90 year old baseball writers, clowns, etc. His matches are usually him and a partner vs 5-10 guys and he almost always wins. Most people probably would think he's god awful but man I find him entertaining as hell. Another guilty pleasure is Santino Marella. For a long time, he was my favorite guy on the main roster. I find him hiarious and he's had to work with some god awful material. Glamaerlla and Santina Forever.
  4. I don't watch Chikara so I didn't see Lince there but I've seen him a handful of times on indie shows the past 2 years here in Orlando. He's a movez guy for sure but I don't think he's that bad. Usually does comedy matches. He looked generally excited on Friday night when he announced he was going to be in the GCS.
  5. Went to the FIP show tonight in Orlando that took place at the comic store Gods and Monsters. Interesting place to run a show with a bar, people dressed like rabbits playing board games and wrestlers walking around everywhere because the building had no dressing room. I was standing about the announcers and the IPPV booth. It's interesting how they put on the IPPV by just using one computer and only 2 cameras. No wonder the feeds is so shitty sometimes. Anyways, as for the show, Fred Yehi finally won something in WWN as he came the new number 1 contender for Caleb konley's FIP title by winning the Florida Rumble. It featured a lot of local Florida/Georgia guys like Jody Kristofferson, Black Osiris, Martin Stone, Yehi, Michael Tarver and Black Baron among others. He did the HBK gimmick of entering number 1 and winning it all. That was the only thing of not on the show as it went down hill from there. Lots of 3 ways and a very strange Michael Tarver main event as he's doing a bipolar gimmick and was talking about how he attempted suicide and stuff like that.
  6. NXT, Evolve 59, HOF, Mania. I might get 58 too. I'm really looking forward to Yehi/Hero and pretty much everything on the NXT show. HOF will be a entertaining trainwreck I hope.

Sylvester Lefort for one. They wanted to bring him up as a manager but he wanted to wrestle. Now he's in TNA.
  8. I submitted my list. I kept putting it off but finally decided to finish. Really happy with my top 20 and bottom 10.
  9. I'm going to finish watching the whole run of Memphis tv with Memphis championship wrestling from 2000/2001. I saw some of it to see early American Dragon and Steve Bradley but I want to watch the whole run in order. I'll also continue watching 1998 WWF and 2005 WWE on the network.
  10. Buddy vs HBK is probably his best match. I also like his match with Nightmare Freddy but that might be an acquired tasted.
  11. Derrick was the highlight of Power pro wrestling in the late 90's. From cosplaying HBK and trying to get married to Jacqueline to being the young guns champ and feuding with Bulldog Raines over dog food in late 99. I think he run in Power pro was some of his first years in wrestling and he was already really good. I suggest watching his feud with Brandon Baxter and team with Kid Wikkid. With that said, I can't vote for him for the reasons Dylan said.
  12. Konan Big is one my favorite wrestlers of all time and will be my number 100 on this list. I know I'll be the only one voting for him and I won't pretend that he is great or even good. His matches are insane spectacles where it's usually him vs 5 or 6 other people and he wins. He's faced clowns, 95 year old baseball writers, tv talk show hosts and just recently, Rush and Cibernetico. He's also a massive draw who has gotten big crowds for almost 20 years as he's on a popular tv variety show in Monterrey. I like the compassion to Andy Kaufman. An even better one would be to the ICP.
  13. If people are going to nominate Gargano and Ciampa, i'm nominating the legendary Konan Big https://randommatchgenerator.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/federacion-internacional-de-lucha-libre-arena-coliseo-de-monterrey-12-18-2011-chabelo-jimenez-dark-tiger-dr-tormenta-perro-sultan-simbolo-2000-vudu-vs-babe-fox-golden-boy-konan/#more-97 http://www.thecubsfan.com/cmll/2007/01/31/2006-year-in-review-december/ http://deathvalleydriver.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1710-dvdvrmm-r2-match-12-shibata-vs-wagner/

At the NXT house show tonight, they did a dirty dancing tribute dance. It was glorious. I don't know where it's leading to but I approve Tonight's show was interesting because it felt like the changing of the guard. It seem obvious that Enzo/Cass/Carmella and Sami are headed to the main roster probably after Mania.I thought Bayley might be too but I think they will hold off on that till they get a new top babyface woman that isn't Asuka. The two women that could fill that role are Liv Morgan and Adrienne Reese. Adrienne had a cast on her hand so she might be injured. Liv has a lot of potential. She even does the Matrix move..
  15. Manny is more a new Del Rio than new Rey Jr. Of course, I've always been confused what the "new Rey Jr" meant. No one can be the new Rey Jr. It's just a different time. I'm looking forward to this show. It probably won't mean anything in the long run but I'm looking forward to seeing some good wrestling live. As for what S.L.L is saying, Based on what I've seen, Manny is more like rudo sombra than his old high flying days.I mean his finisher is double knees to the corner.
  16. Power Pro did in the early days. That's where Jerry Lawler vs Kane w/Jim Cornette took place. That does look like the MSC.
  17. Parties confusing Tamina for Naomi makes me sad. Jericho/AJ working double duty because half of the crew was in Germany. If you want to watch a real minis match, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3UR0evr8Ls . Also Super Muneco has a match on that same show with a fake Huracan Ramirez.
  18. I enjoyed the rumble. It was nice to have one with no Daniel Bryan chants or crowd "hijacking". Marked out big for Sami throwing out Owens. I hope that's a mania match somehow. Even if it is a preshow match. Only part that bothered me was the Wyatt/Lesnar stuff. I don't mind the match per say but the family being able to eliminate Lesnar and the refs doing nothing was some bullshit. Why didn't they just stay and eliminate everyone else? Also, I bow down to HHH winning one for Lemmy. Still waiting on the selfie with AJ.
  19. Bumping this because 53, 54 and 55 are this weekend. Went to 54 and I think it was the best show they have run in Orlando. Big turnout to with about 300 people packing the Downtown Rec Center. This is the best building Gabe can run but it's probably expensive. I think some of the crowd was due to them plugging the show at NXT and Regal making and appearance. Even HHH was there. As for the matches, the tags ranged from good to great. Gargano and Hero had a breakout night. Looking forward to what they do tomorrow at 55. Best part of the show was no FIP matches to bring down the crowd. Also was good to meet the Hales clan.
  20. If someone is gonna nominate Gary Young, I got to nominate Hollywood John Tatum. He will be ridiculously high on my list. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/17556-bill-dundee-vs-john-tatum-uswa-dallas-sportatorium-061590/ http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/17846-bill-dundee-vs-john-tatum-uswa-dallas-sportatorium-050490/ http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/17484-bill-dundee-vs-john-tatum-uswa-dallas-sportatorium-052590/
  21. Is this just American stuff? Cause I'll add the Konnan/Stacy Colon angle from WWC and the Apaches/Billy Boy feud from AAA. I haven't seen much of the Konnan angle except when he hit Stacy in the head with a guitar and it almost caused a riot. The Billy Boy feud is great with him falling in love with Fabi, having a kid, Gran apache goes nuts and Super Calo of all people showing up.

To try and sell tickets for UCF. Sales aren't going well I heard.

    NXT Kids

The matches were Natalya vs Becky Lynch and Heath Slater vs Big show. Big show was awesome getting the crowd to cheer him at the end. HIs interview with Izzy was precious. It was like Saturday Morning Slam without annoying Josh Matthews.
  25. John Cena will retire from full time competition around Summerslam after putting Roman Reigns over. He'll co star in a big time hollywood feature. Roman Reigns will continue to be booked 50/50 but will eventually win over the crowd and hardly get any boos. Finn Balor and Sami Zayn will debut on the main roster. Finn will soon turn heel and feud with Dolph Ziggler. Sami will be the number 2 babyface in the company. Bayley will stay in NXT and Becky Lynch will also return to NXT. Asuka and Samoa Joe head to the main roster. Aj Styles and Bobby Roode sign with NXT. NXT will outdraw Monday Night Raw in some cities and will leave Full Sail. Undertaker, Big show, Kane, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler will retire from the wwe. Smackdown gets canceled sometime in the fall due to low ratings. TNA stays about the same but strikes a deal with Lucha Undergound. Main event of BFG will be EC3 vs Rey Jr. AAA will continue to have problems when Konan leaves and takes the Lucha Underground guys with him.
