I would say that Syxx was probably the last person to join the nWo that was a big deal before it got turned into a midcard/jobber storage facility.
-
Yeah especially since their whole case against Vince seemed to basically be "well look at them, clearly they're using steroids" without actually bothering to tie him directly to them (other than what was for his personal use). I actually agreed with Jerry McDevitt when he mentioned he thought the government was just looking for a head to mount on the wall and saw Vince as an easy target.

WWE TV 02/21 - 02/20 ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE NEWEST WWE REALITY TV SHOW???

Not to mention while doing promotion for the movie, Johnny Knoxville was totally all "yeah I got a brain hemorrhage while filming it, lol" . So WWE is kind of rolling the dice here. -

As much as I would have liked him to test the waters elsewhere, I can't argue Sami Zayn is such a great fit in WWE. He does the style they want so well, and is able to make the usually unfunny comedy stuff work. -
Chris Adams needs to be in every HOF for being a pioneer, he was the first person I remember to use a superkick as a finish.
-
Yeah it would be interesting for them to mention that feud and reveal Steph was involved in that dark era of women's wrestling she bravely fought back against by having the Horsewomen have matches on NXT.
-
Trish would be okay in a "one era's top female star inducts another's" sense, but part of me would love to see what kind of speech Steph "I invented feminism" McMahon would come up with.
-
Sable was such a big star it kind of feels wrong to have her overshadowed by Taker, but I couldn't see Vince wanting to have her headline a HOF class unless Brock insisted it.
-
That, and I'm sure Rick gave him a call like "please don't fuck this up for my boy"
-
They should have the Rock be the one to induct Iceman if they ever do that, since he's the one who came up with "rooty poo"
-
The Undertaker is Vince's best creation ever (other than WWE itself of course). Take a mid card tag team guy from Crockett and put him in what by all accounts should have been another Wrestlecrap 90s WWF cartoon gimmick and create a character that lasted for nearly 30 years. It's all due to the man himself of course, and if anyone deserved a show dedicated to their work it's him.

I love that all of wrestling twitter was doing their impression of the "Vince gets progressively more interested" meme when Nikkita Lyons debuted. -
Word came out that AEW picked up the option on Brian Cage, which is odd since everyone assumed they were going to part ways. Maybe they are planning a Hoss-erweight division?
-
Cesaro seeing that there's a "how far can you toss a motherfucker" contest going on in AEW and wanted to get in on that action.
-
Keith Lee, Hobbes, and Cesaro in a freaky test of strength challenge! BOOK IT COACH!
-
Also it looks like WWE *did* actually offer Cesaro a new deal and he was like "nah" to the surprise of pretty much everyone. I get the feeling he thought he missed his window to be a top guy, saw Punk and Danielson become huge in AEW and thought "well fuck, maybe it's not too late for me after all".
-
Also I have to believe the New Day are all but done with WWE too. At least Woods and Big E, I could see Kofi being a WWE lifer but he might want to stay with his friends since the New Day seems to be really close IRL. Between all of Xavier's gaming buddies leaving and E's closeness to the Huber family (and being one of the "everyone loves him" guy), I don't think there's any reason left for them to stay now. Especially after reading Big E's recent interviews where it's clear he didn't expect to get shunted back to being a tag team guy after his title run and seems to be "I'm going to be extra careful not to say anything that could be perceived as negative towards the company so they don't get petty and fuck with me" mode.
-
Well the obvious options would be either the Danielson Dojo or part of the angle in Impact where they are being invaded by ROH. He would be a natural fit in both.
-
He mentioned the bullying story in a promo he did in MLW that was probably the best one he's done until yesterday's. Also how awesome would it be for William Regal to come in to be the JJ Dillion for Bryan's league of asskickers he wants to assemble.
-
Him vs Mox is going to be some amazingly technical violence.
-
Someone dug up a Facebook post from when he left college that had the Punk-Bryan shaking hands pic, so at least that much was real.
-
Welp, I suppose Russian heels are about to become popular in wrestling again.
-
If I'm being honest the Kingston/Jericho segment probably was too long, but since like 3/4ths of it was Jericho getting dunked on like a scrub in the 90s NBA, I'll allow it. Also the cherry on the top of the awesomeness sundae that was this show was finding out the upcoming Pittsburgh show is Battle of the Belts II
-
Eddie might be the first person ever to namedrop Tenryu and Paul Levesque in the same promo.
