WWE has a leg to stand on if Woods leaves and wants to keep doing UUDD, but their ownership shouldn't mean that he doesn't get any of the money from it. That's like a restaurant owner stealing tips from the wait staff and then justifying it by saying they own the place.

I'm sure she's not happy with her IRL, but the timing of this interview is kinda suspect considering SI is a WWE house organ now and Survivor Series is coming up soon with their champion vs champion match.
-
I will say an enraged Eddie Kingston running full speed to murder someone is one of the more terrifying things I can think of.
-
I knew the minute Hangman came out in a white shirt we were getting blood, I love it.
-
IIRC it was that post DX period where X Pac really didn't have a direction and he had that horrible Uncle Cracker theme.
-
You're not wrong but I object to X-Pac heat being unfair, sure there may have been worse examples since but he was BRUTAL at the time that phrase was coined.
-
Acknowledging Cole and Fish's connection was nice touch, as was the AEWonTNT Twitter account calling it "undisputedly awesome"
-
LOL thats what I was thinking too, JB is a pretty good looking dude so I was like "well, that checks out"
-
There's a reason her best role has been being the doofus sidekick.
-
Also that was Konnan's Tequila Sunrise move wasn't it?

Dan Lambert is the greatest

Tony out there on social media doing the hard push to get people watching tonight, and then they are doing an angle where Okada says the Best Friends are now part of CHAOS. Looks like they are doing the "don't come out and say someone is showing up but point all the signs in that direction" deal like they did with Punk.
-
My only (minor) complaint is that Pete vs Melo was one of those typical WWE "two guys who shouldn't be losing put in a match together" deals . Plus they had the young up and coming guy with a belt do the job just to make sure the new fans they want to draw realize that titles don't mean shit around these parts.
-
Yeah wait until that 18 year old finds out the guy running the first real competition in 20+ years most important work was starting the sleaze thread at DVDVR
-
All of his story was great of course, but I especially got a kick out of rambunctious young Eddie getting a mystery VHS from the store and having his mind fuckin' blown by a Best of Memphis collection. That was like reading the origin story of a comic book hero.
-
As much work as he put into that, to the point they got official UUDD Uno cards made, this is straight up wage theft. 2 million Youtube subs and hasn't got a dime. That's disgusting.
-
Seems like he is as well, this is how the story is written:
-
Jacket Time is such a stupid gimmick it kind of went all the way to being awesome. Also Diamond Mine is my favorite stable in wrestling right now. I love how Malcom Bivens and Hachiman have a JC/Big Bubba vibe going.
-
SRS reporting that Xavier Woods' UpUpDownDown and G4 hosting gigs count against his downside which is complete horseshit for WWE to do, and he's basically holding out from doing any UUDD content until a better deal for that can be reached.
-
That's not bad either, but it feels Eddie really needs a big win since he always comes up just short. Plus building off all the positive energy his story has generated just seems like a no brainer move.
-
He has to at this point, right? The only reasoning to not put him over would be if you have some big massive plan for Punk and you don't want to beat him. Even then I would say tough shit, Eddie's going over anyway. Plus a loss would be the perfect incident for Punk to snap and stop being Mr Nice Guy.
-
Man, there's no possible way you can turn someone like Eddie heel. Just like how he said he knew people in life like New Jack and Tommy Dreamer, most folks have an Eddie Kingston in theirs. Reminds me of Mox talking about how much he was looking forward to Eddie getting a big pop from a large crowd because "he has no idea how much people fuckin' love him".
-
He absolutely looks like he stepped out of the late 70s challenging Bruno at the Garden. I've seen people who have tried to capture that look before, and while I'm not even sure WALTER is consciously going for that vibe not, he's completely nailing it. He also was easily able to get a single chop over as a 100% believable MURDERDEATHKILL level finish in an era often mocked for too many flips, which is one of the most impressive accomplishments of the last decade.

Dave just mentioned it on WOR last night/this morning, basically said it comes down to it making financial sense. Like I said, if Vince backs the money truck up I'm sure he'll move here but in the Budget Cuts Era I don't see them offering the money it would take. (plus even if they did it would just move him up the list when it's time for cuts)

I mean.... he *is*. Great talker, his guys are always challenging the champ, the only difference is Heyman's guys usually win the title. The only difference is Heyman doesn't take the bumps Bobby would.
