Charisma=money in wrestling, and it's beyond me how someone could look at Miro (even if he's not your ideal height or whatever) and not hear cash registers going off.
-
Oh my, TK out here just trying to give everyone the largest boner possible with Bryan vs Miro.
-
I popped for the "get a table for four and a high chair for Sammy" line, that was Heenan level.
-
Dan Lambert is so great, he's like a 70s Memphis heel manager transported to 2021.
-
FTR coming out to a Legally Distinct version of the Midnight Express theme with Tully as their manager is messing with my JCP-raised brain.
-
CM Punk is the perfect guy to explain the Mox situation to the audience.
-
Also I just had a "holy shit, the PPV is less than two weeks away" moment, which hasn't happened to me for a long time.
-
I think he's a free agent, not sure he's officially signed with anyone.
-
Also I suspect Samuray Del Sol (fka Kalisto) is going to have one of those "wow WWE was stupid for letting this guy walk away" performances..
-
This is amazing not only because the match will be awesome, but because this is the exact kind of randomly bonkers match AAA would book on one of their own shows.
-
The out of the ring stuff was all him for sure, but Vince not knowing what to do with a character like that seems 100% believable as well to me.
-
Mox seems like an intensely private person, which makes it much harder to seek help. I know from personal experience how difficult that can be, and it's great he's in an environment where he can put himself first without worrying about anything in his professional life.
-
Good to see that he is getting the help he needs. Alcohol issues are no joke for sure.

I love how they have to portray Dakota as having to go to an evil place to screw over Raquel, when she's the one who first turned heel by turning Tegan's knee into crab meat. What she did at Halloween Havoc seems tame by comparison.

I don't want to see anyone lose their job, but I don't get why Gargano is still there. He doesn't fit with the direction they want to go in NXT, he's got no chance on the main roster. They must think he'd be a difference maker in AEW because I don't see any reason why Vince keeps him around.

It seems weird to say, but it's almost like it's too early for Punk since it sounds like he's about to go on the run of his career right now. Also the Steiners seem like a non brainer just for being influential in two different countries, but influence seems to be one of those things that is applied only as a tiebreaker for someone on the fence.
-
Man, it just seems like it's almost impossible to get in as a non wrestler unless it's a no-doubter manager situation like Bobby Heenan. You could probably make a convincing case for everyone on that part of the list, and a few stand out as "how are they not already in?" level omissions, yet they probably will never get in.

I think the implication here is that all the Invincible Fiend stuff was Vince's idea, and when Bray tried to push back on it he got heat. I honestly think it's going to come out that Bray's involvement was just designing the look for the Fiend and the actual booking was out of his control. Say what you will, Bray's not a dumb guy, he had to know how every program the Fiend had ended up hurting the momentum of the opponent. The only good match to come out of it was Bryan working a miracle. I can't imagine they would have kept booking him the same way after the first bad match if it was all his ideas, the fact that it kept happening had to have been a Vince call.

Britt's clearly a draw, but I don't discount Abadon having that "what is THAT???" appeal that gets people to stop what they are doing and watch this monster.

So SRS is reporting that apparently Bray Wyatt was vocal about creative sucking to the point people believe Vince soured on him over it and that's why he was released. No one believed the "budget cuts" reason for his release since he was a big merch seller and was over with the crowd.

The funniest thing to me is why Morrison is wearing glasses as part of his costume when (to my knowledge) Dave has never worn them in his life.

To be fair, Raw had some good matches, but it all seems so pointless since everyone always lands back in the same positions. I laughed at Chad Gable trying to recruit Big E by saying "look how much I did for Otis".....yeah Chad, he went from being in one lower mid card tag team to another. I guess not being stuck as a comedy guy is an improvement?

They tend to be a catch all thread for everything happening on TV that week, and having one big ass thread for all WWE TV gets unwieldy fast (plus on most message boards they tend to cause things to break after a while).

I was at that one, among others, including a show where they opened the roof (which was a rare occurrence).

Those were all indeed good, I just think he's been on another level in recent weeks. It's like he spent his time between companies training in the chamber with Goku and now he's displaying his full power.
