WWE is usually pretty good when one of the women turn up pregnant, like with Becky or Lacey Evans. The way things are going down where they keep acting like nothing is going on both on Smackdown and today is suspect as hell if she ends up not being on the show.

Tonight's show should be well paced if nothing else, they pretty much guaranteed the city that they would be done by 11 EST as to not create a mess with the boxing crowd.

As nutty as the company can be, they do seem to be serious about making sure everyone gets vaxxed or if they don't to make sure they are taking all the proper precautions. Punk did make an offhand comment at the post Rampage presser that he's a full time AEW guy but if Tony wants him to do the G1 he'd be open to it.

An amazing moment within an amazing moment was Punk on his knees on the ramp and you could see it looked like his love of wrestling was entering his body again. Like you could see the precise second when it happened.

Yeah the saddest part of what happened with him was how WWE so thoroughly killed his passion for the thing he spent his whole life doing. Seeing him get emotional at hearing the response was a great great moment.

I mean, he's only saying what any executive would say. WWE's not actively looking to sell but if someone calls them up he''ll hear what they have to say. Which is is what you want a top level exec in a billion dollar company to say.

Yeah I love this, feels like it did back in 96-97 having two companies doing big moves to counter each other and it being awesome for wrestling fans. Watching the younger generation that only knows decades of a monopoly get to experience this warms my normally cold, dead heart lol.

Whole show is one long ass tracking shot like Henry walking through the restaurant kitchen in Goodfellas. Also how wild would it be if Punk debuts, the Elite come out and surround the ring ready to beat his ass and Punk's like "oh you thought I came alone?" then Final Countdown starts playing.

I don't think anyone would deny that. The reason the Shield was kept strong was because of Vince's Big Dog Boner. Hell, the reason WWE Shaky Cam exists to the extent it does is because they originally started doing it to cover when Roman was green.

Pretty sure Dave confirmed at some point that the Shield was Punk's idea but it was Ambrose, Rollins, and Hero. They put Roman in and (per Punk) anyone who was in the ring with the Shield was told their role was to make Roman look as good as possible. Roman certainly has all the rights to feel a certain kind of way about Punk, but him going off like that just comes off as someone trying to convince everyone that they are definitely Not Mad at someone. Plus it makes Tony Khan look smart, why pay to hype up Punk's return when you can get the top star of your competitor to do it for you?

Not to mention you're giving ammo to someone who doesn't need any extra motivation to blast the company on national TV, just not smart all around.
