  1. Also nice to see WWE remembered Keith Lee exists.
  2. Was pleasantly surprised to see Ric looking better than he has in a while.
  3. lol Shane is back, that's bring back the young demo...
  4. TBF daytime soaps are low key underrated in terms of how they manage to put together long term storylines while putting a show on five days a week. The stories might not always turn out out great but at least they have an idea wtf they are doing and know how to get there.
  5. Also Kacy is quickly becoming one of those people like Ricochet (I know they used to be an item) where it seems like they always seem to find themselves in the vicinity of shitty people.
  6. It sounded like Vince got pissed at least in part because he supposedly made promises to Roman to convince him to come back. That certainly gave the impression there was some kind of rule laid out to the talent about being responsible.
  7. In theory, everything currently on the Network should slide over to Peacock when the changeover happens.
  8. I sometimes forget Inoki is Japanese Vince and I love times like this that remind me.
  9. Jim can't help being Jim. He could have said Jade is too green to be in the spot she is in and no one would have probably made too much fuss. He had to just take it to that extra tryhard level. I mean, first he argues she isn't attractive then ends with the "she's only here because someone wants to fuck her".....dude that's just lazy at this point.
  10. It's probably the best decision for him financially, but I understand how it can be disappointing for some to see him re-up when we've seen other people both above and below him on the WWE food chain prosper in other places. He's more than earned the right to just cash WWE checks for life but I can't say there's not a part of me that would like to see him tear shit up in a company that sees more in him than a good hand that can work with whoever the company is giving the latest three week push to.
  11. Ours are just as bad, this was just the one rare case that a Canadian one was worse.
  12. I'm sure he wasn't the greatest guy ever, but wasn't part of his role to be the guy who snitched on the boys to the office?
  13. Far be it for me to ever defend Vince, but "Vince is pissed at Cutler going to a New Years party and getting COVID after the talent was warned specifically about that" is a different situation than "Vince fires a jobber because he got COVID". At this point I have zero sympathy for anyone who got exposed due to their own stupidity.
  14. They seem to be planting seeds for New Japan's Bullet Club vs AEW's Bullet Club to happen at some point.
  15. I would assume any pre existing deals just get grandfathered in and anything going forward would be done with NBC.
  16. Taker's Mania matches were just supposed to be showcases of stars from yesteryear putting over the new hot gimmick, and at some point they realized he's never lost and it became A Thing.
  17. Dave mentioned this last night on WOR, said people would probably be disappointed at the announcement but it was only the first step.
  18. Tama Tonga called the Good Brothers "Festus and smaller Festus" and I can't not see him like that now.
  19. I do like the pairing of him and Thatcher as two sick bastards who like hurting people.
  20. Watching NXT now, and I can't figure out why Chiampa is growing his hair out, it makes him look like a leaned out Bugsy McGraw.
  21. Pretty much. He rubbed pretty much all the Elite guys the wrong way, and it was probably a big reason he ended up out the door. Don Callis and Chris Jericho were working on mending fences for a while and I suppose it finally paid off for them. It's brilliant really, since it seems like everyone wins. New Japan gets a better US partner, AEW gets several potential hot angles and matches, and even Impact was able to see a boost to their viewership.
  22. So it looks like this was all part of the angle to get AEW and NJPW working together via Impact. Makes sense when you consider how they were seemingly unafraid to mention Bullet Club on TV in terms of the current Omega/Good Brothers/Bucks grouping as opposed to just referencing it as something from their past. Not only is Kenta part of the Bullet Club in New Japan, he's also got a US title match upcoming with Mox, so it all ties together beautifully. Also Kenta was straight up mentioning going to Jacksonville two days ago on Twitter and apparently no one noticed, which is great.
  23. Considering the NJPW Global account just replied to a tweet about KENTA on Dynamite with emoji eyes, I'm guessing so.
  24. Did the Forbidden Door just get opened?
  25. KENTA HOLY SHIT
