So either Charlotte is HHH and is using her pull to put herself over, or is she babyface era Roman getting pushed too hard by the company to the detriment of everyone around her? One difference that stands out to me is she isn't getting the backlash from fans like Roman did (well other than ones on the internet anyway), which indicates to me the company is taking measures to protect her from that. Whether or not that's due to her politicking or not is a matter for debate I suppose.

Honestly the Legend Killer gimmick is what got him over IMO. Beating up old timers got him that visceral "how dare you" heat, and in typical WWE fashion the only lesson the company learned was "we should only bring back legends to get beat up".

I hope this leads to Kenny challenging all the non WWE champions until he's like a modern day Ultimo Dragon covered in title belts.

Kenny pretty much in full Cleaner mode, seems like he's going to do a belt collector gimmick since he's already AEW and AAA champ, looks like we're at least going to have him challenge for the Impact title.

So it occurred to me how much of a pain in the ass getting to the new Thunderdome will be for talent. Amway Arena is basically in downtown Orlando, and most of the talent lives around the area due to the PC being nearby. Tropicana Field is in St. Petersburg, which is about 2 hours away in an area so remote the Rays couldn't pay baseball fans to attend games there even when the team would be competitive. I suppose at least it will curb the covid-spreading clubbing they do since by all accounts from the locals there's approximately dick all to do in the surrounding area.

Also I love how Mauro's interview was basically him saying WWE's environment was too toxic for someone with mental health issues in the most diplomatic way ever.

I love that the first comment on that story was a WWE bot claiming Mauro will never get another gig as good as WWE.....dude he just called that Tyson/Jones fight and can pretty much have any boxing or MMA gig he wants. It's amazing how well WWE has convinced people anything outside their company doesn't exist.

Also this is the last show in Thunderdome 1.0, as they'll be in the new stadium for Smackdown.

IIRC the opinion was Taue was overshadowed by being contemporaries with some of the greatest wrestlers of all time and that he was pretty good in his own right. I think some folks championing his cause got tired of him being downplayed and ended up taking up the extreme opposite viewpoint that he was better than those guys, which....yeah I don't see that.

Looks like Candice might have broken her arm on the spot where Shotzi did a swanton off the ladder to her holding a chair. It looked weird when it happened, as if Shotzi kind of forgot when to jump/wasn't sure of the distance and it looked like Candice had to wave to her to hit the move.

Dunne would be a great choice to build NXT around if NXT was still in the business of developing folks instead of existing to only fuck with AEW.
