    NWA Powerrr

I was under the impression it was a new Power-like show being taped where the UWN shows take place at.
  2. You know, it's surprising no one has mentioned the (accidental?) synergy of the Q infested WWE making its COVID home in an arena named after an infamous MLM/Pyramid scheme company (Amway). Like feathered birds flocking together and whatnot.
  3. That really is the worst part. He should be the best kind of redemption story, guy cleaned himself up and got a nice gig with the largest company in his profession where he doesn't have to do deathmatch shit anymore, yet somehow he's become worse because of it. He's like bizarro world Nick Gage.
  4. Sami Zayn about to be repackaged as Bave Dixenspan,
  5. On top of everything else, he's lying about his role in the company too. He's trying to portray himself as just a lowly developmental referee being picked on by meanies on the internet rather than a talent liaison who is in charge of booking folks for one off appearances. You'd think WWE would have shot his ass into the sun for giving Riddle's accuser gift wrapped proof of her legal claims, but instead they seem content to allow him to turn their farm system into Q pit.
  6. So they just released DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 that added character models/voices for the actors who played Sonya, Johnny Cage, and Raiden from the iconic 1995 movie. Tons of people in the comments were stating how it's an instant buy for them because it will allow them to replace Ronda Rousey's original Sonya VO..
  7. Well it's certainly possible, he just doesn't seem like the type of dude that knows much beyond how much he just benchpressed. Less "I'm an AEW fanboy" and more "I don't think my man here pays attention to anything that didn't happen in the gym"
  8. Brian Cage in the comments giving support. I'd wager he doesn't know about all the Proud Boys/Perler/Q stuff and is all on the persecuted Christian stuff.
  9. It looked like he kind of stumbled and fell, it didn't seem to go 100% as planned, but he is just that much of a physical freak that he managed to save it with a 350+ pound man on his shoulders.
  10. This match is nuts in terms of two large dudes doing things large dudes shouldn't be able to do,
  11. It looked that way.
  12. Keith Lee vs Big BOB, some real meat slapping potential here!
  13. I love how this is all supposed to be some galaxy brain plan to make Lana a babyface, but they still portray her as completely incapable of winning unless someone is there to save her.
  14. Pretty sure Dragon Lee wants to stay since it allows him to work New Japan when that becomes something that is possible to do again.
  15. My bad, I started a thread at the same time....was afraid maybe you had to move into a bunker. Also WWE turning Riddle kicking off his flip flops into a slo-mo spot is just *chefs kiss*
  16. The Hurt Business are some suave dressing motherfuckers.
  17. I mean, even if somehow AEW crashes and burns I would think Kenny would deserve entry based on taking New Japan to the next level. Folks were fearing a return to the dark ages when AJ and Nak left, but Kenny not only stepped in admirably but took the business higher. (also I don't expect AEW to go anywhere unless the Khan family somehow manage to get Enron'ed out of their nearly 8 billion dollar worth)
  18. So Dave mentioned on the Survivor Series recap show that he wants to create a new award for the Observer Award called the Shad Gaspard Award that is basically his version of WWE's Warrior Award only not named after a shithead. Essentially wants to honor someone in wrestling for doing good things outside of the ring.
  19. I feel like this is what we got. The show was overall pretty good I thought, but there's not much they could build off of other than the Uso/Roman stuff. The Lana deal seemed like a rib after they just premiered a doc about her being bullied, but at least they made Bianca look like a badass for taking it to the submission monster who's killed everyone she's gone against. I'm glad WWE is over the "Sasha loses her singles titles quickly" kick they were on, and had a great match in the process. Perhaps she can carry Carmella to something worthwhile after all. It was also funny seeing them trying to put over Drew's mega sword over as a family heirloom when he already did an interview saying Vince gave it to him. Or maybe that was meant to be an inside joke when they said his grandfather gave it to him. Speaking of Vince, I was shocked to see everyone's reaction to him, he's looked this bad/old for a while now and it didn't seem like it was any worse. Perhaps people just forget how he looks now since he does keep himself off TV pretty much all the time now. I'm sure he was only out there because the Taker character is clearly important to him and one of his all time favorites.
  20. I'm pretty sure she asked to go back to NXT. Her injury was so bad it was thought to be career ending for a while, and I seem to recall her wanting to go back to NXT to make sure she didn't go back to WWE Main Rosterland all rusty and out of timing in ring wise.
  21. That was a nice little tag match, I dig the "power guy/flying guy" teams like the Street Profits.
  22. Montez is like the greatest hype man who ever lived.
  23. New Day in their Gears of War DLC outfits is hype
  24. It did put over Lee as a beast, and it might lead to something with Uso/Roman/Heyman. But yea, it was mostly establishing Raw as the superior brand.
