I like this character for Lana, Instagram Influencer seems more "your real personality amped up", but she still sucks in the ring. -

I agree but it did come off like he swapped out Mark Henry's gear for a plus size version of Owen's. Did I miss the show where Adam Pearce got promoted from random backstage office geek to de facto GM? -

Seth may be a total pud online and a company bootlicker, but he's put in the work to make Dom look like a million bucks. -

I thought she was just selling the spinning backfist, but I suppose it could have been flash knockout. If so, good on the ref for spotting it. I've always been of the opinion the backfist is lowkey one of the more dangerous moves in wrestling just because the person doing it isn't facing the person taking it. Either you have to make it really fake looking to be safe or risk drilling someone in the face or head full force. Cole was such a goof stumbling over Ivar's injury saying he had hurt his "cervical", almost thought he was gonna say "cervix" for a moment. -

Watching on delay since the Steelers played on Monday Night Football (I'm part of the problem on multiple levels), and they are really blowing this Retribution deal. That promo made it too obvious who was under the masks, and unless someone of name value is put with them for credibility why would anyone care and/or see them as a threat. WTF happened with the finish of the Asuka/Mickie match? It almost came off like the ref went into business for himself. Not like I was expecting Mickie to win, but it was quite the fart of an ending for what was a fun little match. Also lol at Zelina walking right in after being a manager and starting a program with the champ. It is funny when she gets into a promo and her NOO YAWK voice comes out. -
The "you work for me" stuff is just to explain why Wardlow hasn't turned him into a spot on the floor. Pretty sure this will lead to Wardlow finally killing him and revealing he's signed with AEW after all. It's not incorrect to say this kind of fits weirdly in modern wrestling, but I wonder how much it's also due to WWE doing endless angles where they state the wrestlers will be destitute without the benevolence of The Company keeping them around. A cool twist will be revealing Wardlow's plan all along was to take MJF down a peg because he's ....well.....MJF. Wardlow turning out to be a secret genius and not just a meat head stereotype could be something.

Internet sleuths have already figured out the woman that keeps getting shown on SD is Carmella.
-
Now if it's ten minutes of him tossing Marko around, that actually sounds pretty good.

I mean, it's fair if you don't like how he was presented or the pairing with Kip, that's all subjective. However, the crowd was chanting "Miro Day" and popped big for the guy (well at least as big as a crowd of 300 or so can pop) so to say it was a misfire seems just patently wrong. As opposed to the previously mentioned Dark Order beatdown from last year where you had an arena full of fans collectively going "wtf?" in unison.

At the very least, Sara Stock and Serena Deeb would be great as producers for the women's division. I would love to see Sara as the female version of Dustin Rhodes and be a player/coach to give the young folks someone to work with.

It's not like he was sitting in the office with Vince till 3 AM every day, at least not at this point. He was the guy who'd go to amateur wrestling meets to scout for talent. Obviously not a job he can do right now, but it's not like WWE is in a state where it can't afford to keep a guy around who set the dominoes in motion for Vince to win the war in 1984.
-
Yeah looks like a lot of the furloughed people are getting the official word now that they got the axe.
-
Sara Stock getting released too. Looks like WWE saw the backlash they got trying to steal the wrestler's side hustles and thought "you know what we need to do now to get better PR? More pandemic cuts in a year we made record levels of profits!"

Snowden's Twitter antics do match his behavior on a myriad of message boards dating back decades, and that's just ones I've personally witnessed. I suppose he has matured in the sense it took him longer to blow up in Twitter than it used to back then, so there's that.

Wanted to mention seeing Tay Conti get overwhelmed with emotion coming out for her first match after being officially signed was a nice little real moment. A lot of people assumed she wasn't going to stick with wrestling after getting released, but she stuck with it and ended up in a better position for herself as a result. In a business that sometimes seems like an endless world of shit, it was really touching seeing someone have a good moment.

I don't see Miro sticking around with Sabian. In fact that whole segment was like one neon sign advertising him being the one to destroy the wedding.
-
Thunder Rosa defending the NWA title on AEW TV is an interesting development.
-
I mean, this isn't Zack Ryder saying he's upset his action figure efed didn't get him a WWE Main Event push, this is the dude who was told entire arenas chanting form him was the crowd mocking him. If anyone's allowed to cut a "shove the brass ring up your ass" Miro IHMO.
-
I guess we've all turned heel on AEW? Suddenly Miro cutting the same promo others have done is LOLTNA stuff?

For a sport where nearly everyone is in gear that looks like underwear, there's something unnerving about Jake Hager's gear where every time I think he just came out on national TV in his boxer briefs.
-
I mean, it wouldn't be my first choice but it does seem he works best when he has someone annoying to play off of.

The best part is they can work Twitch into it and it won't be just a WWE dig.
