Big Bob vs Big Bronson is going to be some meat slapping fun on Raw next week.
-
Not to mention being out for over a year because his back exploded.

I wonder how much Punk getting hurt affected plans. Clearly the idea before the Rumble was Roman/Cody and Seth/Punk, but then he turns his tricep into crab meat and all of a sudden Cody is saying Finishing The Story isn't that big a deal anymore. Slotting Seth with Cody an Rock/Roman gives them two solid main events again, and makes the most sense business wise. Plus it has been stated in the reports since Raw that they expected fan backlash but not the fans heeling on Rock at the level they did which makes me think this was the (possibly panicked) backup plan. The big difference now is when faced by the fans rejecting the plan, instead of plowing forward like Vince they actually did a pivot that ended up better for almost everyone involved (Seth still a bitch...).

AEW TV (02/07 - 02/10) Here she come now saying Mone Mone

I was happy to see Big Bill turn his life around after he had that OD or whatever at that one indy show. The fact that he's done that *and* has had a career resurgence has been great to watch -

I'm sure he's going to load the show since it will be getting lots of attention, but the announcement was all about telling the fans Mone is coming without flat out saying it. Interestingly, New Japan is confident they'll still be able to use her in the future so she apparently got one of those "work Japan when you want to" deals. -
I've heard stories of people having run-ins with Steph, but nothing close to the level of Vince's weirdness. Johnny Ace is 100% trying to save his own neck, which honestly probably the smart play for him since the company would throw him under the bus in a heartbeat. I doubt it will allow him to escape any of the heat, but it seems like he's willing to air out the dirty laundry if he thinks it will save his ass.

That was a great show, excellent wrestling and storyline advancement. -

Looks like they are doing the Punk thing with Mercedes, don't mention their name but just happen to book a big show in their hometown. -

I need Mox playing Bruiser Brody in Japan and send people running in terror in Arena Mexico. Also Claudio vs Mascara Dorada was fucking fantastic for that little bit we got to see. -

Popped for Claudio being a good rudo and winning with a foul. -

Man this is a hell of a match, not as crazy as the Texas Death Match of course, but holy shit. -

Do they belt up Sting and Darby tonight or do they get fucked by the Bucks to set up the PPV match? -

Kicking off with Swerve and Hangman, apparently TK isn't fucking around tonight. -
You think Seth is aware of how stupid this makes him look no matter how you take it? IRL he looks dumb because he's saying they don't need the guy who would give them the most business they can do, and in storyline he looks dumb because if Rock fucks off, then Cody would drop the match with him like a hot potato.

I get the impression he was rubbing people in Anthem the wrong way and they got tired of him. Fightful seemed to suggest in their report that the feeling was he was trying to become the face of the company and that didn't sit well with the corporate overlords. On some level I can see that, but dude performed necromancy with TNA so you'd think he'd have a longer leash.

Ava has deleted her Twitter account over getting death threats over the Cody/Rock thing. Wrestling fans really can be the worst.

Young Rock: A New NBC Sitcom About the Life of Dwayne Johnson

Reagan was a respectable midcard level actor in his day. Leading role in B movies, the #2-3 star in the bigger movies. -

tbh I don't think he ever had them. it's far more likely he enjoyed letting everyone *think* he had them. -
Trying to push a studio to bend to your will like that will at least get you marked as a pain in the ass to deal with. I'm not saying he's been blacklisted from movies or anything but he's not their #1 darling anymore either.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel that's unfair to Sarah Logan....at this point I don't know if someone like Bryan Danielson could manage to have a watchable match with Maxxine, wtf is Sarah supposed to do?

Brother @KawadaSmile mentioned he blew through a lot of his goodwill in Hollywood by trying to force Warner Brothers to make Black Adam a centerpiece of the DCEU.
