Elektra Lopez regaining her spot in Legado, fuck yeah. Guess she won folks over by ethering poor Lola Vice on NXT.

Vince had to resign, even if only a quarter that was alleged is true it would have made WWE a corporate Chernobyl as long as he was around in any form or fashion. What's going to be a bigger issue for the company is when people start piecing together who all the Unnamed WWE Corporate Employees are who are named in the lawsuit. It probably won't be too hard for the internet to do its thing and sleuth it out, as it will most likely reveal just how baked in all this sleaze is in the company. Of course none of that really matters, it's no secret that the corporate structure of WWE needed to be burned to the ground decades ago. What really matters is Vince finally having to accept some form of accountability for his gross behavior.

Honestly the part of the lawsuit that was the hardest to believe was that Linda would be that upset about finding out Vince was having yet another affair. Unless it was a "straw that broke the camel's back" kind of thing I just assumed she was numb to his bullshit by now.

I know its not the worst part of this by far, but holy shit Vince couldn't even be bothered (allegedly) to pay her all the hush money he agreed to.

Wow, Suzuki sure didn't coast in that match.... god damn. Him and Copeland beat the piss out of each other.

I'm so old I'm trying to comprehend the future home of Raw (and probably all of WWE in five years) is the same place I first signed up with to get movies on DVD for my mother.

Didn't realize Lyra was so small, she needed to wear some noticeably chunky heels on those boots to be able to appear taller than noted tiny person Roxanne.

Thea horning over New Chase Dude cracks me up every time

Also they need to start training the crowd to stop the Holy Shit chants since it gets half censored.

Lola Vice may be who they want to push, but Elektra smoked her in that segment tonight.

It's funny how well Punk plays with others when he's in there with someone just as carny as he is (and I say that in the best meaning possible). It seems pretty clear by now that he didn't think the Bucks deserved to be in the position they were in AEW (in terms of management not as a top act) and Kenny was just caught in the crossfire. Which makes it all the more humorous he's so happy now back in the company run by the "doofus son in law" from his famous pipe bomb.

I'm fine with her being the women's division JTTS so that folks aren't taking L's they don't need to.

WWE 2K game looking great again, two years in a row has to be a record.

Starting to think TK invited bubba @KawadaSmile to be on the booking commitee

Well Collision was pretty fantastic.

I had totally forgot Kevin Kelly used to work for the WWF until he mentioned having called an Edge match from 1999.

Watching now after football, and Mox and Shane Taylor kicking things off with a banger, holy poop.

His whole deal as NWA champ was "poor man's Ric Flair" and he at least got the wardrobe part right.

I think after Yokozuna's weight got out of control to the point he wasn't being allowed to work, that kind of put the kibosh on 500+ pounders in wrestling. There's some big boys on the indy scene, but no one near the size of superheavyweights from years past. Also considering how wrestlers in general are smaller and less jacked than back then, someone in the 300 pound range looks proportionally as large compared to them as someone like King Kong Bundy looked back in the day.

No, but the story of him getting fired from his after wrestling job when people found a white powder is certainly part of the legacy of 80s WWF tho.

Oh hey, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn still exist in WWE.

I guess now's the time to finally pull the trigger on Priest cashing in the MITB briefcase. Solves what to do with the title and furthers the slow burn of him breaking away from Judgement Day.
-
IIRC his English is pretty good but he's not always comfortable speaking it. That would probably change if he was full time in the US I would guess.

Another thing to consider, WWE likes to lock down people to 5 year deals nowadays and don't let anyone work outside the company (unless it's a special occasion like Muta's retirement show). AEW allows their talent to work other places, and would let him go to Japan whenever he wanted. He could try to negotiate a shorter deal, but WWE's biggest fear is setting a precedent where the talent has any bargaining power. It would seem unless he wants to go all-in (no pun intended) on living in the US, AEW would be the more logical place to go. Just saying WWE is making a big deal about their presentation of Nak now as a way to show Okada that it wouldn't be another TNA type experience if he signed, yet all they're really doing is putting their usual treatment of Japanese wrestlers in front of a cool anime looking background. There's also the whole issue of no matter how well he's being presented, at the end of the day he's there to be cannon fodder for the American babyface hero who's annoyed he has to deal with this on the way to what he really wants to be doing ("finishing his story").
