  1. Well Dolph kept re-signing when he was doing that, but as of yet the Revival haven't, so there is that difference. I'm thinking their logic is if they put the word out they still want to leave and WWE tries to humiliate them again it will just make the company look like petty assholes. It seems to be working, as I recall at one point Vince wanted to make them pure comedy characters on the way out but that went away quickly (it's also equally likely someone just jingled their keys in front of him and he forgot about it).
  2. You can always tell when Randy is invested in a program as opposed to when he isn't. Just like some guys have the "I'm about to do a job" boo-boo face, Randy tends to get the "I couldn't give any less of a shit about what's going on here" face.
  3. NXT was the biggest non-PPV draw on the network, I wouldn't be shocked if George and Michelle's difference in vision stemmed from them wondering why the platform they were championing for so long was being cannibalized in a short sighted attempt to bully a competitor.
  4. The irony of the guy doing the "old timer who hates everything new" being obsessed with Twitter will never not be funny to me.
  5. Smart move of him to do that. Hopefully he can talk Corey into deleting his social media too. At least Mauro has documented issues to explain why he is, Corey comes off as a tatted up Donald Trump Jr. with his "please pay attention to me, please love me" tweets.
  6. Oh shit, completely forgot about this. We might be close to Vince completely losing his mind and wandering naked down the streets of Stanford.
  7. Unless George shit on someone's bag, this is just a bizarre turn of events. He was so great at doing the public facing speaking events (or more accurately he was the only one who could do those in the company without coming off like an inside-the-bubble-weirdo) and the markets seemed to respond to what he was saying. I suppose this might come down to the stagnation of the Network numbers, but it seems like most of all it was "we need to scapegoat someone for these low numbers who isn't a family member".
  8. It looks like the Nightmare Collective is being killed off and the Dark Order is being kept alive because they feel whoever the Higher Power ends up being will end up making it all worth while. It seems like AEW listened to the complaints after all.
  9. For a company that insists on branding the shit out of everything they can get their hands on, it feels like a missed opportunity that their TV partner is airing Super Bowl LIV and there's been nothing done with Liv Morgan associating with that.
  10. It seems like every week someone makes a comment like that when it's clear no one gets around to it lol. Personally I thought it was a decent little show, I liked The Hybrid 2 with their tribute skeleton gear and Jack Evans doing the La Parka dance down the ramp in tribute.
  11. Absolutely this. Orton would probably be a no-doubt all time great if he could just be bothered to give a shit 75% of the time. I suppose that's what happens when you had everything given to you at an early age, there's no desire to want to go all out and prove anything.
  12. My understanding is she dropped it while she was doing Total Divas and was basically "CJ Perry the person who plays Lana" on that show, so they just kept it that way when she came back.
  13. Ronda was also trolling after the Rumble posting a pic stating "oh you thought I was coming back", so she's definitely planting the seeds since her MO is to deny something before it happens (see also her denying Dave's report she was leaving after last year's Mania before she in fact ended up leaving).
  14. I would assume she's either going to be in a women's tag title match or on some random battle royal.
  15. He never seems like a good guy even when he's a babyface, so it's like he never actually "turns".
  16. Buddy is one of the folks Heyman wants to build the Raw brand around, that's why he's in the top stable now.
  17. Most likely.
  18. They want to elevate NXT to be seen as equal to Raw and SD, so having the Rumble winner challenge the NXT champion would be to serve that purpose. Also I'm sure they know the only way NXT seems to be able to beat AEW is to have main roster stars show up, so that's another way to try to do that again.
  19. According to Dave, Heyman kept the belt on Andrade because he felt it was too early in the program for him to lose it and he's one of the guys he wants to build Raw around. So it's not a statement of WWE giving up on Humberto (yet).
  20. Yeah I'm sure being the Queen's Consort has its advantages. It is kind of weird we're having Wellness failures again after what seems like years since the last one. Of course it was rumored Andrade's was for cocaine which considering he's a luchadore who's associated with the Flair family seems like a given.
  21. The way he was going from "sadistic motherfucker" to "guy having to put down a sick pet" and back again was tremendous.
  22. Oh man, this is some real legit "the crowd thinks Randy's about to kill a motherfucker" heat.
  23. This Edge promo is really good and all but it's funny that the real answer to "why am I here" is "because I was talking to AEW and Vince got scared".
  24. They have to build for Elimination Chamber while also setting up Mania programs, so they really can't spend too much time on SaudiMania.
  25. I'm not even sure what's the most shocking thing there, that Cedric was on Main event...that he lost...or that Riddick Moss is still in WWE somewhere.
