The Dan LeBatard show on ESPN did a segment on AEW's Bash at the Beach show in Miami (the show is based in Miami too) and had Jericho on as a guest. Pretty neat to see a non WWE show getting some pub.

Someone made a good point that stuff like this is why investors are wary of HHH taking over one day. For all you can say about Vince, he'd never say something like that in a public setting (I 100% believe he'd say in in private though). -
I'm not as hard on WWE as some are (I've come to terms with "It Is What It Is" at this point), but the thought of Wrestlemania being main evented by Brock vs Some Real Fighter Guy is kind of soul crushing. WWE will never come close to achieving the potential their roster has if they don't create new stars, but it's clear at this point Vince will never allow that since he cannot stand when his guys leave to be bigger stars outside of his control.

You never want to armchair diagnose someone, but when you look at photos of the guy from his FCW days it literally doesn't look like the same person.

Besides the obvious slut-shaming context, there's also the fact that Paige has been open about not being able to have kids as well. Considering he made those comments right after talking about the well being of talent, it made him look like a clueless putz on top of everything else. -
Word's out that Brian Cage just signed a deal with AEW, which explains the weird way he was written out of his match with RVD on the Impact PPV tonight.

From what I've read, Marty wants to rebuild ties with New Japan and the NWA (which is why Nick Aldis has shown back up in ROH) and try to establish ties with AEW.

Does Bully Ray still have any influence or is he just Executive VP of Threatening Fans at Ringside?

I'm sure they knew which Parka it was, CMLL has been better lately acknowledging folks that passed away even if they didn't work for them. AAA Park was a big enough star it would have been a real dick move to not say anything.

Daga tweeted about being the "Mexican fiancee" before quickly deleting it because....yeah. -
Roman's been such an afterthought it'd almost seem like a midcarder winning if he wins the Rumble this year. Also someone needs to throw ice water on Vince to get rid of the boner he has for Corbin.

The thing about Tessa is the main reason she was in Impact in the first place is she had a terrible rep and no one else would touch her. Her going there was supposed to be a time for her to stay under the radar and rebuild her rep, which ironically was going pretty well until she decided to blow everything up today. So yeah, this isn't so much a case of everyone dogpiling on someone because the place they work makes them an easy target to ignore. It's because she's someone who was previously known to be a shithead who people were assuming had reformed before finding out that wasn't the case.

cubsfan reported tonight that La Parka passed away tonight from the injuries he suffered doing a dive in November, he was 56 years old. Despite always being confused with the more famous LA Park, he was one of AAA's biggest stars really up until Psycho Clown broke out a few years ago.

I'm sure there are women's wrestling fans who aren't pegging the creep-o-meter on a regular basis, but man do the creeps never stop. -
Marty apparently is working on a deal that will allow him to work ROH, NJPW, and NWA. Bandido signed a new deal as well. I hope they got some fat stacks for staying in what's quickly becoming the wrestling version of the Phantom Zone.

Amazing to see the die hard Tessamaniacs try to spin this as "TEH HATERZ" coming out to ruin her big moment on PPV, except none of this would have come up had she not decided to be the Melania Trump of wrestling twitter. (also yes my bad for not making it clear that Isla Dawn's tweet was in addition to the spit/N word incident. Grammar is hard sometimes lol) -

Isla Dawn has also come forward as well as the person who was the target of the spitting/N word combo. -
It was suggested it should have its own thread, so here it is. The story for those who don't follow the Impact thread: Tessa made a tweet about supporting women and it opened the floodgates for every woman wrestler she had a run in with and/or saw her bad behavior to drop all the receipts for the world to see.
-
I remember a while back there was a Japanese woman wrestler going off on Tessa (among others) being an unprofessional shit at a show she was on, bullying someone who was new to the business in the locker room. As soon as I saw Tessa tweeting about supporting women I was like "oh no baby, what is u doin"....she opened the floodgates and now everyone she ever had a run in with is going to be dunking on her.
