They apparently did the Orton reveal on Raw just so people would know not to expect Punk. Also while yes, neither WWE or Punk have any real need (or want probably) to have him appear, both are petty AF enough to want to do it just to jab TK in the eye. That's why I leave that 1% chance open that it could happen.

It helps that the magic of pro wrestling is fairly universal. Like sure its better when you fully understand the storylines and motivations, but you can watch a really good match from Japan or Mexico in their native commentary languages and still be able to realize you just watched something pretty damn great.

My guess is that they were probably sent to TV stations in various Pacific Islands since a lot of them in the Commonwealth back then and British programming would have been relatively easier to obtain than most international shows.
