The problem goes back to multiple former WWE writers stating that when it came to the women, their character development began and ended at "all women hate each other". I'm not going to pretend it's the main issue with the division, but you're never going to get women's wrestling seen anywhere at the level it should be if deep down they're all just a bunch of high school girls fighting over who gets to be queen bee.

Even women who don't dress as provocative as the ones mentioned have issues, as last night saw Brie working in pants cut so low she had plumber's crack for half the match. Bryan and Dave were going on and on how Bayley has something special and WWE can't mess it up. Considering her character is being the nice girl, she seems more doomed than anyone coming out of NXT since the writing team doesn't seem to be able to do any storyline for women other than "nasty bitches who hate each other".

It was somewhat surreal - not because of the stories that we have already heard 100 times - but because it was a WWE product. Bischoff is always a good interview, though. Eric's been pretty vocal about WWE's version of history being bullshit so I'm kind of surprised they picked him.

It seems like the social media teams published their Raw teases as scheduled and no one remembered to tell them Sting was off the show. Also we need to be talking more about the greatness that is Xavier Woods and him playing Rusev's them on the trombone last night.

I can't believe I have interest in a Kane feud in 2015, but I love how you don't know if he's supposed to be crazy or just fucking with Seth.
-
Anyone else think it was kind of surprising ROH took Kenny King back after he fucked them right after ANX won the title? I know it's the wrestling business but this isn't like Vince taking a guy back he had issues with because it can make him money,

I'd venture a guess that Sting bruised/broke ribs either on the powerbomb to the corner, or some point prior and that was just the point of no return. Bad ribs hurt like a motherfucker and the way he just folded gave the impression he couldn't catch his breath.

Here's the women on the 2K16 roster: Emma Eva Marie Paige Summer Rae Tamina Brie Bella Nikki Bella Alicia Fox Cameron Layla Naomi Natayla Stephanie McMahon (also "McMahon-Helmsley" version) Not to mention almost everyone who's on NXT TV regularly is in the game as well.

Well it's a personal taste thing for sure, but there's a pretty big crossover between gamers and wrestling fans. I wouldn't suggest not having them is going to crash game sales or anything, but a lot of people like fantasy booking shows the way they want and this is going to be missing a key component. I'm sure you'll be able to create a reasonable recreation of them as CAWs, but it just comes off like it wasn't any concern of WWE to make sure they were included in a game that is boasting the biggest roster in history.
-
Also it's not a matter of them debuting too late to be included, since a fan asked Sasha on Twitter if she was scanned in to the game and she said she had.
-
This is pretty telling, 2K just announced that Becky, Sasha, Charlotte, and Bayley not only didn't make the cut for WWE2K16 they didn't even make it in as DLC. That's a pretty big slap in the face, and pretty clear indication how seriously they take the "revolution".

The Hebners had a stake in a t-shirt store in St. Louis and it was alleged they were skimming shirts from house shows to sell at their store. You'd think that's an accusation that would have led to a lawsuit if there wasn't something to it, so odds are they were up to something.

That was one of the main things I mentioned when filling out the survey they posted for members. Nothing makes the site look more bush league when they get emails from random people then publish them as columns on the front page.

Dana Brooke isn't bad for someone at her level of experience. She's amazingly good at being a heel already at this point, it's just the "hit a move, do your pose" stuff just kills whatever flow her matches have.
-
What gets me with entrances isn't so much the music as much as the poses everyone has to do. It's worse with the women, Dana Brooke has to do that weird arm waving routine in her entrance and at least 2-3 times a match. It just looks silly to see these people who are supposedly on the way to engage in combat have to do an interpretive dance routine first.

I'm wondering what non WWE companies are going to be able to draw revenue from in the future. DVD sales are pretty much going extinct, VOD is just now starting to prove someone viable after the initial debacles in that realm, and no one is getting any TV money worth a damn other than WWE. I know some groups have YouTube channels, but I've always been under the impression you don't make much money from that unless you have six digit subscriber levels.

Dave said it last night on WOR when Bryan was previewing Raw. After the women's match was named, Dave interjected that he's heard that John Cena was pushing for that match to go a certain way, but didn't go into detail. The implication was clear that he had say in what was going to happen on Raw.
-
I've given up on caring about the women's matches, but it's frustrating that after all the horrible/lame garbage he's had given to him that Cena decides to use his influence to make sure Nikki keeps the title. Like seriously, he was OK with being told he'd be spray painting "poopy" on JBL's limo but goddamn we gotta make sure his lady gets a record literally less than 5 people give a shit about.

Loss channeling Tony Schiavone on Twitter was the best part of the main event.

Kana's signing/renaming deal from NXT tapings tonight.

Bayley-Sasha Ironman (woman?) match announced as the main event for the next Takeover show in October. I wonder how much can be read into them going all in on NXT when the Diva Revolution is sputtering badly on Raw.

Anyone else get a "Samoan Chyna" vibe from those Nia Jax videos on NXT?
-
She shouldn't HAVE to cut promos but WWE style demands everyone have to recite overly written promos.
-
That always struck me as odd since he gives all the signs of being the exact type to know any and all porn genres. Also I get a bad feeling Kana's going to get the "she can't cut it in WWE" rap trying to work miracles with the Eva Maries and Dana Brookes of the world.

I won't be able to watch until HULU tomorrow, but I assume a rotund and amazingly handsome bald man hopped the guard rails and proceeded to be incredibly funny and charming? some guy in a mask started walking down the ramp with Rollins for his entrance for a split second Also, shout outs to the guy who gave The Big Show an utterly pointless thump on the arm I like in an era where most wrestlers can mean mug fans and get laughed at, that dude legit thought for a second Show was going to kill him.
