  1. Watching WM 11 reminded me what an unprofessional shit mid 90s HBK was. Granted, there were too many photographers at ringside but he tossed one guy a good 5-10 feet for the sin of being in the way of his bump outside the ring as if the dude had any way of knowing what the spots were. It's amazing, considering the petty ass shit people have been fired from the WWF/E for before and since, to see just what the Clique was able to get away with.
  2. They can't guarantee enough of a crowd to cover what MSG charges to run in the building.
  3. Yeah, people usually don't understand why UPN would even consider not renewing SmackDown, but I don't really think they make that much money off it and would probably make the same if not more with a block of shows they produce. Not to mention anyone who works with Vince McMahon usually gets tired of it eventually.
  4. It's looking more unlikely that UPN is going to renew SD, and they seemed to plant the seed on RAW for a title unification match at some point. Not to mention NBC/USA doesn't want any SD wrestlers on the Saturday Night's Main Event telecasts as long as it's on a rival network. So what's in store for SmackDown? Instead of talking about ending the brand split, there might not be a second brand at all. I can't imagine USA devoting another nigh to wrestling, where would SD go if not on UPN?
  5. Not to mention Warrior can easily prove some of the things he was buried over are common wrestling practices since there was a houseshow recently where half the people no showed and none of the advertised matches took place.
  6. Still, he can make the claim that he lost bookings for speeches because of him being portrayed as an unprofessional lunatic on the DVD.
  7. I didn't know he was still doing the comic thing. I guess he can make that case then.
  8. I hate to ever agree with Warrior about anything, but everyone knows that Vince put that DVD out just to bury him. There's two problems with the lawsuit however: 1. It'll be impossible to prove intent, since Vince will just claim it was a work and everyone else who took part in the DVD will circle the kayfabe wagon around him. 2. Warrior isn't in the wrestling business anymore so it's going to be hard to claim the DVD damaged his future earning potential.
  9. I don't think I've seen a non WWE match on this list except for Joe-Kobashi.
  10. My travels to DVDVR lately have really made me appricate this place even more. I almost forgot what it was like going to a wrestling board where the majority of people in the wrestling folder have no idea there was wrestling before the WWF in the mid 80s and mods close threads because they randomly decide that there will be no more topics on a certain subject. Not to mention the nonsensical word filters. Christ, that gets annoying.
  11. I don't see how Warrior's response would hurt his case, since he didn't put it on DVD and ship it all across the world. Hell, I don't think Warrior ever finished the DVD he *was* working on.
  12. I'm just saying they took the time to re work her into OVW storylines so perhaps they aren't trying to get her to quit like they did with Christy.
  13. From Inside Pulse, hopefully this will quiet the folks in denial that Eddie's death had anything to do with steroid use.
  14. Jillian Hall has been back on OVW TV since about November or so.
  15. I wonder if Shelly getting upgraded cans means that Aaron Stevens is getting called up and he's bringing his women with him.
  16. I liked how Johnny Ace decided that Rey was the right size to fit under the bus with the whole Juvi situation.
  17. Taken from DVDVR: WWE sniffing around about Roderick Strong seems to signal that Vince is about to unleash his favorite competition killing weapon: the talent raid.

    TNA News

Meltz posted the Impact spoilers, and Christian did in fact get the title shot at the next PPV.
  19. I know he had family in New Orleans that he hadn't heard from after Katrina.
  20. I'm saddened that we'll never know Little Johnny's Secret now.
  21. If he's talking about the in ring product, I agree. The 80s were a pretty dismal time to be a workrate freak. Booking wise, like you said, the 80s were probably the best time the company ever had. Almost everyone on the card had something to do, and it usually was booked to a logical (by wrestling standards) conclusion.
  22. In what might be a related matter, WWE signed Oleg Prudius, AKA that Lance Storm-looking dude Jerry Jarrett brought to WWE Headquarters.
  23. WWE.com is reporting they've come to terms with Heidenreich on his release.
  24. "HE CUTS THE TABLE IN HALF! WITH AN INVISIBLE CHAINSAW!" I dislike Joe Rogan, but that made me cringe in embarrassment for him having to be next to that clown.

Jarrett is a servicable mid-to-upper card guy who could do a lot to build new talent, he's just not a guy who can carry the banner.
