  1. First thing that came to mind was that my mother had a ruptured aneurysm in 2008, and never recovered. She is in a permanent vegetative state. Second thing that came to mind is that it was a work. It says in that link that he was banged up from Monday...which I find odd. I hadn't heard that he was injured from the angle.
  2. She is strangely arousing in numerous ways...
  3. *Disclaimer* I am no religious expert, nor do I claim to be...I have taken some philosophy courses in my college career, and this is the collective knowledge I have attained from said courses. If you take offense to my wording or thought process, please, accept my sincerest apologies, and know it was not my intention to start an emotional conflict. 1. Like SLL said, it has been implied for a very long time that it was an apple. 2. The serpent thing has always thrown me for a loop. If evil exists simply because of Adam & Eve's dissension and disobeying God to not remove and consume the fruit, then how does it explain the serpent? Temptation in the form the serpent used is evil, it has to be. It wasn't an apple maggot saying, "Hey, this here apple is delicious, you should really try some." At least, it has never been suggested that a scenario like that occurred. It has always been a serpent that tempted Eve to dissent - which I find amusing that it was the woman who caused the fall of man, which makes me wonder if that's entirely accurate, since history has been predominantly written by man. Nevertheless, since the form of temptation the serpent used can be somewhat clearly distinguished as evil, it suggests evil existed pre-dissension of Adam & Eve, which only leads to more unanswerable questions with only hypothesis and speculation. Another thing that has lead to many internal and external debates is in correlation to the fall of mankind. Okay, the apple, or fruit if you will...has been covered. The tricky part, is that God is supposedly omniscient. That suggests that even though God gave Adam & Eve an order, He would already know they would disobey the grand order. Furthermore, it wouldn't be fair to punish a being for disobeying a command you knew before giving to them that they'd disobey. That doesn't suggest a just being, which God is also supposedly supposed to be. It gets even trickier than that. If God is truly omniscient, then He would know that the serpent would successfully tempt Eve, who in turn, would peer pressure Adam into dissension as well. It seems extremely manipulative, which in my eyes, is evil. In addition, since God would have the foreknowledge of the serpent, Adam, and Eve, a just and fair God would not condemn the entire future human race with evil. So in theory, God is the source of evil...partially because of the previous experiences, but also, since God is the creator of all-things, which has been suggested throughout time. Nothing can exist without God being involved, as He is a part of everything of all-time...or so it's suggested. Nevertheless, there are many debates and attempts to cloth God as the perpetrator of evil...namely, free will. These people who use this line of defense suggest that God knows everything going on at all times; however, he is unable to know exactly what each human is about to do, or what decision they're about to make. I don't know if that supposed knowledge extends to animals and insects, but let's assume that it does. This entire scenario doesn't make sense to me...in the least. Okay, so we have God, the maker and creator of everything we know, and everything we have not knowledge of yet. God is the only uncaused first cause in history, He has always been, He will always be. The sheer magnitude of His power is indescribable, it lies beyond words or thought...imagine the complexities and knowledge it would require to make everything we see around us...the solar system, the planets, all life forms, etc. It isn't inane or far fetched to theorize that a being with this type of power...true God like power wouldn't be able to pinpoint and accurately predict...better yet, know every human being, animal, and insects next movement, thought, idea, intention, and action. I have always wondered about that. I mean, if it was just Noah and his family, then we're all from the same cloth, literally. Regarding Russo - This book of his makes me happy and sad. I'll start with sad. It makes me sad that this dribble and non-sense can be published and distributed globally. Next, it makes me happy. It makes me happy that my aspiring career as an author can be fruitful and successful if Russo can become published. I can then spread my dribble and non-sense globally.

    RAW tonight

If it is a shoot firing, I don't understand the logic of the sponsor who supposedly got so upset about what happened. Last night, there were at least things that happened that were/could be considered worse than what Danielson did. *The entire Bret Hart in the limo segment. Kidnapping a man in a "position of power" and then throwing him into a limo that crashes into a few other stationary vehicles. *Shemus coming to the ring with a lead pipe. It's called felonious assault with a deadly weapon with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Or, it could be inferred that he did have intent to commit murder. Some people think the Danielson thing looked so bad because it was being compared to the Benoit murders. Obviously, a person could see it that way; however, it wasn't the first choking thing since June 2007, and not even the worst choking since that time either and HBK was doing the crossface not long afterwards anyway, which was a move synonymous with Benoit. While that's bad that the angle was apparently viewed as such, how many people are kidnapped a year in the United States? To top things off, if this sponsors know pro wrestling history, they'll know that Bret has had a history of severe concussions and debilitating strokes. What better to have him crashing around in the back of a limo on live TV. I know Bret wasn't in the car when it was happening, at least I hope not, but to me, it definitely looked like he got out before the limo started crashing into randomly placed cars. Nevertheless, appearances are everything. Most people probably believed he was in the car when the WCW circa 99 angle started. Something isn't registering here...

    RAW tonight

He got fired because someone they have a fat contract with (probably Mattel) saw it and complained. It was viewed as an act kids could imitate and they have to stay PG. Everything they do can be imitated. How many children have died from inflicting pro moves to their friends or siblings in the last ten years? So, if that's the case, a sponsor being unhappy, and this isn't a work, and in turns out to be a legit firing, then Danielson would have room to file a lawsuit then?

    RAW tonight

So, what exactly, got Danielson fired? Him choking Roberts with the tie was a scripted spot, I'm sure of it. I doubt Danielson would go into business for himself like that...and if he did, why pick a ring announcer? Nevertheless, if this isn't a work (which I think is a work) and Danielson was fired for choking Roberts, wouldn't he have grounds for a lawsuit? I mean, he was following a scripted and ordered spot from the agents, followed it, and was subsequently fired for it. Something isn't right here if it's real. Like Will said though, wrestling is about choking motherfuckers. Plenty have done it before him, and many will surely follow. Who knows, maybe Danielson got wrapped up in the moment and legitimately injured or choked for real. But hey, Triple H was allowed to potato the hell out of JR. Just sayin'.

Imagine how I feel then... My mother was stricken down by a ruptured aneurysm...and is now in a vegetative state.

    RAW tonight

Agreed. The angle had that mayhem feeling to it, but since the WWF has reverted back to a "more family friendly environment", a potential 5* angle was only 4 1/2*. But really, if this happened ten years ago, it would have been spectacular with blood and weapons. Nevertheless, it was an awesome closing to Raw...which might be just one of the best I have ever seen - and yes, I am including the Attitude Era. This beats the beer truck angle by a large margin. I've always been a fan of large numbered gangs wrecking havoc and destroying everyone in sight a la the NWO. While this probably one time angle can't compare to the NWO wrecking havoc, it's the best thing the WWF has done in a long, long time.

  14. I may be taking this out of context, but I too find it hard to rate professional fighters. There are too many fighting styles, and too large of differences in weight classes. When Brock fought Randy, he outweighed him by like sixty pounds. That is a devastating advantage. Sure, Randy has more pure skill and obvious experience, but Brock is a mountain of a man, even at 265. So Brock wins, does that make him a better fighter? Not necessarily. UFC Weight Classes Lightweight: 146 to 155 lbs - 9lbs Welterweight: 156 to 170 lbs - 14lbs Middleweight: 171 to 185 lbs - 14lbs Light Heavyweight: 186 to 205 lbs - 19lbs Heavyweight: 206 to 265 lbs - 59lbs Boxing has larger gaps starting at Middleweight to Super middleweight, but they too need a larger division past the 200lb mark.
  15. I guess I wasn't expecting a deep man's voice out of any of you, which isn't meant to be taken to offense. Will, you even sound like a teacher...that authoritative voice. Naylor sounded like a big city guy. Also, it seems like it's hard to keep Naylor on topic for any extended period of time. Oh, what was up with the crying children? "Quiet baby...I have wrestling talk to do."

  19. Jumbo Tsuruta or Harley Race? Hmm. I'd have to go with Tsuruta on this one - very difficult choice for me, as I like both men, but Jumbo was just so much better at times. Randy Orton or Edge? Orton. Although I dislike him as a man, he is superior to Edge in almost all categories that mean anything in wrestling. Rob Van Dam or John Morrison? RVD. His ECW TV title reign is one of the best in NA history (title reigns), plus he can bump and fly like a mo'fo. Owen Hart or Brian Pillman? Owen in a landslide. Sano or Ultimo Dragon? Sano in a landslide, good god is he a dickhead which = AWESOME. Genichiro Tenryu or Randy Savage? Eh, never been too big on Macho, so Tenryu because of 6/5/89. Ted DiBiase or Rick Rude ? Similar to Savage, never been that fond of DiBiase, so Rude by default. 1980s Ric Flair or 1980s Jerry Lawler? Flair by a landslide to me - I never liked Lawler, and only slightly liked him after watching his Memphis stuff, which to me, is overrated. Dustin Rhodes or Barry Windham? Windham by a huge margin. Kerry or Sting? Sting for sure, no doubt about it. Tamura or Sano? Sano. Steamboat or Bret? Bret. While I like Steamer, he is just too...I don't know how to describe it...weak? Like, he is a terribly weak babyface, not that he isn't a good babyface, he just seems weak in the ring, and not his workrate, like his opponent could easily defeat him at any moment. Similar to how heels were bumbling morons sometimes, i.e. getting their foot caught and being physically unable to free themselves...
  20. Vince is scared of Goodhelmet.
  21. What sucked right off the bat was Rikishi being revealed as the mystery driver. I was fifteen when this happened and was like, "WTF?"I think it would have been difficult to turn Austin heel, I mean, he'd been sneak attacking people for a while already, doing heelish things, and the crowd loved him. He'd probably have to do the Edge/Orton style heel tactics to get over as a heel.
  22. Why wouldn't HHH have done it in 2000-2001?
  23. That's rather odd, and incredibly mean...
  24. I don't tire of his bloated physique, not that I find all that appealing. His body changes like my moods, which to the normal person, is weird, and although I am far from normal, I find his constant metamorphosis odd. I grew tired of him with the twenty minute opening dialogues every week, the Katie Vick angle, his lengthy title reigns, his numerous title reigns, his two year feud with HBK, his constant obsession of becoming his mentor, etc. I dug his character in 2000, well, more or less his work rate than his character. To be honest, I have never liked his character. In addition, I have never really liked any of the characters I have seen in pro wrestling. They're either too bland, excessive, or unbelievable (think of Kane and the Undertaker).
  25. Let alone the water spit routine, and awkwardly long introduction.
