I'm not sure about his age. When I Googled him all I could find was his stats that said "above 40" & a dude on Reddit that says he trained with him & he's 30. Neither were exactly ironclad.

That's... a really good question. I don't know either. Apparently she was in a movie named Seized that came out in 2020 with Mario Van Peebles. But I don't know if she has done anything wrestling related since leaving Lucha Underground. I can't find anything on Wikipedia anyway.

I like AEW. I like a lot of the AEW roster. There's not a single person there that comes off as a bigger deal or more legit to me than Jacob Fatu though. But I agree that he's probably WWE bound if he goes anywhere. Moxley is pretty close. But man, I would not mess with Fatu. He definitely has that bad ass problematic aura about him. I like Alex Hammerstone a lot too but I don't think he has the same aura as Fatu. Fatu is like over 40 though & Hammerstone is 29. I also love LA Park. The Fatu/Park match on the MLW PPV was cash. But yeah, these dude's aren't spring chickens. AEW doesn't really need to be signing a bunch of dudes over 40. If anything, I'd love to see them bring in more people from Lucha Underground or some more non-wrestlers, like Salina de la Renta or Dario Cuerto. They should really be pushing the demographic that WWE for whatever reason, even with talent like Andrade, ignores, in the Hispanic market. Also, today I learned that Drago is 45 & Texano, Jr. is 36. Like.. what!?

I've been re-watching 1991 WCW on the Network & having a blast! I just watched a Clash of the Champions today where Cactus Jack came out of a box to beat the piss out of Sting & it owned. That era of WCW where Flair left but Hogan hadn't come in yet is a lot of fun. They're trying to find out what works & what doesn't. So you get some cool acts early on, like Johnny B. Badd when he's still a heel with Teddy Long as his manager but you also have to sit through Heavy Metal Van Hammer & Z-Man matches.

Jim Cornette strikes me as a man that takes things way too seriously & that isn't a good trait to have in someone that also very obviously has anger issues. Dave Meltzer strikes me as someone that isn't as smart & he thinks he is & doesn't want to ever admit to being wrong about anything. Which aren't great traits to have in someone that's a journalist. So yeah, it's like one is gasoline & one is wood & Kenny Omega was the match.

I personally find Drew as boring as watching paint dry. He did a good job of getting into a lot better shape & making the most of his time away from WWE, but I'm just not interested in him at all, in any capacity, not just at the main event level. I would prefer Jinder over him to be honest. So Drew Vs. Orton could not appeal to me any less. Meanwhile, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is the best thing going in all of WWE. The Rock Vs. Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania would be insane & no way I would miss that. Granted, getting The Rock to commit might be a pipe dream. That being said, if it's Roman Vs. Drew, I don't think I would bother. Don't get me wrong, I would rather see Drew than the likes of The Big Show, Kane or The Undertaker again, that's for sure. But he just doesn't really do anything for me.

WWE TV 11/09 - 11/15 Luis Arce is Bolivia's president-elected!

Interesting as just four hours ago on Twitter he said she was "let go for supporting unionization" which I think most people immediately knew that tweet wasn't why she got fired. -
I have zero problems with Omega, personally. Can't deny what he did in Japan. But man, the Taue omission is pretty glaring.

This could very well be a big tipping point for people in WWE deciding to take a stand, honestly. Paige has already been vocal about it on Twitter. Andrew Yang has taken notice & now Joe Biden won the Presidency & could very well put Yang in his cabinet. Aleister obviously has ties with Zelina. We know about the Lana stuff after Rusev left. The Twitch shit, the independent contractor shit, the union shit... something's gotta give. Zelina is beautiful, smart & talented. She plays games, does cosplay, goes to cons. Has the Twitch following & apparently a Cosplay Only Fans as well. She's going to be fine financially. I'm more interested in this might be a spark for other WWE talent. Also WWE won't be able to talk about her father anymore during the annual Tribute to the Troops bullshit. If Thea/Zelina decides to stay in wrestling, she'll be a big get for any company. If Tommy End finds a way to leave & go with her? That's a game changer. Like what I thought Scarlet/Karrion Kross would be. But then they went to NXT & he got hurt... -

This is insane & everyone in WWE should be pissed. Aleister Black is going to lose his shit. -
I actually thought they did a pretty decent job of telling this exact story at Full Gear. Up to the point where the "No Flips, Just Fists" old school tag team tried to do a flip, the 450, and it cost them the match. The Bucks still did high spots, obviously, but the whole leg work & cutting off the ring took away a lot of the offense that the Bucks normally do and that's why I liked the match, to be honest.

MLW Fusion returns on this upcoming Wednesday with the MLW Restart. The main event is going to be Davey Boy Smith, Jr. Vs. Jacob Fatu for the MLW World Heavyweight Title. Looks like Alex Hammerstone is going to get a shot at the winner as well. I'm really excited. MLW have been using the time off from the pandemic to load up their roster a bit & with my wrestling viewing habits dropping dramatically, along with shows like NWA Power going away, I'll be happy & glad to follow MLW again.

The only matches I didn't dig were the Nyla/Shida match & the pretaped Hardy/Sammy thing - but even that was fun w/ the cameos & the post match with Nyla & Vicky is intriguing. Crazy to me they did a Swanton Bomb off a ladder through a table & it wasn't the finish in the Hardy match though. Really good PPV.

Yeah, Taz beat Tajiri like that on an ECW PPV once too.
-
Great main event. Great PPV on a great day.

The more wrestlers talk, the more chance they have to show everyone how stupid they are. So, in that regard, them making Twitter accounts is almost always a mistake. There's a lot more Jerichos & Austin Aries' than Samoa Joes & Sami Zayns. When it involves something like politics or a pandemic? Boy, howdy.
-
It's going to be insane when AEW is allowed to run full crowd shows again. It's going to be LOUD. But with this pandemic, who knows when that will even be. (I still think we have a second, worse wave coming)
-
Darby/Cody Rhodes (Rhodes again, too) was super good but Nyla/Shida was the worst match of the show so far. Tag team match between Bucks/FTR has been good so far. Methodical. Old school.
-
It's still super early in the night but so far, this PPV has impressed the shit out of me. I'm really enjoying myself. Darby looks like a star. I LOVE the tree look with the paint. LOVE. If they're announcing a new AEW video game on the 10th, I hope this look is one of the outfit options for Darby.

both men wearing pretty cool gear

That Eddie Kingston & the Fam segment was goddamn amazing. Holy fuck.
-
Great match. Good shit to start. Love that finish.

Kevin Nash grew up in Detroit & was around for the riots. So it makes sense.

That neckbreaker was awesome. Does Serena do the old Konnan Tequila Sunrise? It looked like she was setting that up earlier. I always loved that move.
