  1. Is that enough to get a blurb in your column this week? ☺
  2. Haha. ..yeah I've done that twice now. I've never claimed to be a genius, just a wrestling genius
  3. But Baba himself had two quickie NWA title reigns. Likely, the real reason is that Dusty aligned himself with Inoki and New Japan at a time when the wrestling war in Japan was quite hot
  4. If you haven't seen them before check out his WWWF promos from 77-78 on the Dusty WWE DVD immediately. If that Dusty turned up in WWE today he would be the most over guy on the roster within days of his debut
  5. Think of it as an hour long Dick and Kal match and it will much more enjoyable
  6. Actually I think that run with Graham in the AWA happened after his Florida turn but not long after, maybe 6 months.
  7. Horrible loss for wrestling. One of the greatest ever. RIP
  8. It's called "phoning it in"
  9. This is the French Angel from the footage http://www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=6269&page=20
  10. http://placetobenation.com/tag-teams-back-again-episode-6-special-edition-tommy-rogers-tribute/ Guest host Pete joins Marty for a salute to Tommy Rogers, who recently passed away. Rogers was one-half of the legendary Fantastics tag team with Bobby Fulton. Pete and Marty examine four matches from their canon, spanning multiple territories and countries. 13. Better brush up on those old Observers, only one more week...
  14. Omni Maple Leaf Gardens Cow Palace Olympic in LA Montreal Forum Greensboro Coliseum
  15. Also, see you on Brainbuster. I don't plan on my run coming to an end any time soon though
  16. Haha...I'm now picturing Magee as this underappreciated talent that only the French "get"
  17. Re: Bret learning the sharpshooter from Konnan, I believe it was right after Mania VII when Konnan happened to be at a show or two wrestling dark matches and before he wrestled with the Max Moon gimmick
  18. Michaels losing to Razor at Mania X. Granted it was because of all the unique spots he did with the ladder, but he was probably the hottest wrestler in North America coming out of that match
  19. The plan is to look at both cage matches and about three other bouts
  20. Yep, ep 6 will be devoted the Midnight Rockers vs Rose/Somers feud and we have some ideas for similar shows looking at famous tag feuds from other territories.
  21. Don't forget ass biting
