I cannot figure out how to use VLC player. Not sure being on a Mac changes things up. I just cannot get video to work and audio just loops for 10 seconds. Just not tech savvy enough.

A List Of Pro Wrestling Podcast Links
Kevin Ridge replied to cheapshot's topic in Publications and Podcasts
So there is a Wrestling With Depression and Wrestling With Optimism podcast. Are they feuding with one another?! -
Simple choice for me as I am just not going to watch Over the Edge even with the WWF title change later on show. I do not agree with it being made available but easy for me to just skip over it while watching other stuff.

The audio biographies would be big sellers but the potential musical numbers might be number one.

WWE Network PPV List Over the Edge 1999 is included.

Bret screws Owen! Little brother was close to get the submission win but Bret interferes to cause DQ. Jarrett uses the opportunity to sneak in behind and get some shots in on Razor.

[1995-01-08-WCW-Main Event] Arn Anderson vs Johnny B. Badd
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in January 1995
Finish sure got Bischoff and Okerlund really worked up. Standard heel cheating with use of manager. Mean Gene even gets aggressive with referee Randy Anderson. Give Gene a call on the hotline if you want to see Badd get a rematch with Anderson. Okerlund must have been devastated when the hotline business went away.- 5 replies

Titans of Wrestling most devoted follower! Do I win the Edge DVD? Jump the Shark Cage. I laughed. These were some rough matches to get through. Sober was not the way to go. I agree with Parv on Butcher as he mostly does the same thing in every match. I have not seen his earlier stuff so maybe he will surprise me. Did like his Olympic Slam here which was the only wrestling move for whole match. Dislike Sheik's act and usually do not like these type of matches but yeah it does end up as one of the best matches on show. Butcher/Kamata finished tied for second in Real World League Tag. Team of Sheik/Mephisto finished dead last with zero points. Probably all count out/disqualification loses. Johnny Morrow with a promo we can understand. Bad battle royal and crazy that Kiniski wrestled five times on his last day of wrestling. Morrow just stood around in that battle royal. So was hard to see what he could do in ring. Knew you guys would be all over the play by play guy and the astrological signs and other bio stuff he brought up. Kelly will need to add jobbers astrological signs to his bios. Best I have seen of Swede Hanson. Steamboat probably had most to do with that with his selling but thought this was decent TV match. Johnny now lusting about Steamboat to go along with Garea. That would have been so great if someone picked up phone at the Irvington Body Shop. Rose and Valentine going at it on the mic was funny. Not much of a wrestling match but they did what they could. Backlund was in amazing shape. Looks like he could still go. Does he even wrestle still though? Patera was sad to look at it. Had no business being in the ring after so many years off and not being in shape at all. Was not on camera but a fan threw something at Foley with Mick calling them out. He must have raced off once show ended. Bockwinkel beats Foley in my opinion for who was best guest announcing job. Jobbers the Musical! Actually damn good idea. Even Pete was doing some singing here. It would be so awesome if one of these jobbers ends up hearing their bio on Titans. Pete Doherty must have a statue somewhere in Dorchester, MA . Oh, Dominic. I thought you were going to beat Hogan. I would have liked to see crazy Dominic show up. Vince was burying Dominic on commentary. Must have been easier to do that with Bruno not on as color commentator. I thought I hit the pause button on my Ipod in error when it went all quiet. Nope, still in play mode but just silence until the Jaws theme starts up. Johnny was amazing doing Quint's speech. One of the funniest bits I have heard. People need to listen to that. Bravo Johnny. They could have brought Harley Race in for Jaws 2 as Quint's revenge seeking brother. Match was garbage as would be so easy to escape such a small cage. I do want to hear Meltzer and Cornette on commetary with it being on those Wrestling Gold dvds. Well done Kelly with running the show! I applaud Lead Analyst Pete for even attempting to break down these matches. He could have taken the night off. Titans TV sounds interesting. You guys did not do your usual MVP picks. I would have loved to hear who was the worst performer of the night. Patera? Shark Cage door? The whole battle royal?

Cactus gets rammed head first into a stacked table and leaves a huge blood stain on table. Loads of violence in this one and I am actually glad that a lot of this stuff has been fazed out of wrestling today. Terry trying to pull the shoe off the photographer in the ring was funny.

Cornette is aligned with Express with the purposes of trying to protect them from the Gangstas. Cornette wants to be the one to get rid of the Express. Cornette swings the racket at both Gangstas. Cornette does a big gusher and gets messed up by the Gangstas. Cornette makes the case to Bob Armstrong to allow the Heavenly Bodies to return to SMW so that they can get rid of the Gangstas. Pretty clever.

Lawler represents himself as being from the WWF. He knocks Knoxville and says Memphis is better. Taking shots at Dirty White Boy. Jerry will be the next SMW champion.

[1995-01-07-USWA-TV] Tommy Rich & Doug Gilbert and PG-13
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in January 1995
Bowden has come along way since his referee days. Wearing a full suit and Dave Brown even allows him to talk on the mic. Dave showing some speed getting out of the way when PG-13 attack Gilbert. Even Corey Maclin looks ready to get involved. -
He looks like a Shop Teacher in middle school who drunkenly feel asleep head first on a table saw.

[1995-01-04-NJPW-Battle 7] Shinya Hashimoto vs Kensuke Sasaki
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in January 1995
There was a really screechy fan who was heard clearly through these Dome matches. Must have been sitting right next to a mic. Really good physical match. Love the Fisherman Buster move. Hash hits a good one on Sasaki to put him away.- 8 replies

Muto does a really long ramp run to nowhere and gets nailed by the Steiners. They could have had Scott just sitting there with a baseball bat on this shoulders ready to knock out Muto. Steiners on a Dome show seems to always pop the crowd but they are pretty quiet at times during match. Muto actually blocks the Steiners' super DDT move! Finish was fun but I would say this is below the earlier Dome show matches involving Steiners.

[1995-01-04-NJPW-Battle 7] El Samurai vs Shinjiro Otani
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in January 1995
Nothing special here but I did find the finish interesting with the battle over the Dragon Suplex. You have both guys trying to get their own suplex and Otani succeeds and gets the win. Felt different as both guys were not worn down to the point where a move like that could put Samurai away. -
[1995-01-03-ECW-TV] Music Video: Mikey Whipwreck
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in January 1995
Mike Awesome even getting his licks in on Mikey. Public Enemy throwing him around. Perfect song for Mikey. I loved the idea of him trying to give away the TV Title before the matches even began. -

Hey Ditch, I tried watching matches through your site/stream for the first three of 2001 and each of them would stop playing after two/three minutes. Would go right back to beginning of match and repeat. Do I have the most up to date excel sheet download?

Gave Liger, Tanaka & Makabe vs Delfin, Murahama & Tsubasa a second viewing and really enjoyed it this time around. But the big match from that show is the Kawada & Fuchi versus Nagata & Iizuka. First time I saw this I was really blown away by it. Still an awesome match. I love seeing Fuchi out there at his age putting on matches like this. Nagata only grazes Kawada back to back on the jumping roundhouse kicks. Kawada is liking I am not selling that fully! So Nagata hits him with a German. Did not feel like a 30 minute match. Will rank very high in the end. On to 2001 though I am wondering if I should jump around more from other years.

If mentioned earlier my apologies but did not see it when scanning through posts but I would nominate Rock versus Mankind versus Shamrock from Breakdown PPV on 9/27/98. Really off the charts crowd response to this as fans are so behind Rock after his recent turn from heel to neutral. Kind of crazy they turned him back heel at Survivor Series as fans were so into him.

I want to add to the praise of when the additional years are added to the mix for us to comment on. The yearbooks are my top thing on the board as I enjoy watching a match/angle and commenting on it immediately. I think they are also incredibly valuable as they are so far from 90-97 so it would be awesome to have that expand to the 80s and to later years to help some of us who maybe don't follow that stuff as closely but can check out a match from them based of reputation. Really is something special being put together.
