  1. I was hoping Cena would use the chair on Wyatt and get himself disqualified. As others have said wasn't the right match for a Dome show.
  2. They need to start selling those masks the band members are wearing. Great entrance. Another excellent production tonight.
  3. The video did get a bit choppy during the battle royal for me but was still watchable. The feed has been excellent overall.
  4. Battle Royal was the usual mess with too many people at first but turned into a pretty entertaining match in the end. Big push for Cesaro! Love the body slam finish. Kingston false elimination was something.
  5. That Shield match was so perfectly done! What a squash.
  6. Heck of an entrance by Triple H.
  7. Opening segment was fun stuff even with one of my least favorite things in the What chant. But it was kept to minimum. Cool seeing those three guys in the ring at same time. Bryan versus HHH to open show? Damn. This is exciting.
  8. Laughing so hard right now.
  9. I thought it was a bit off at first with timing issues and having everyone out there. Got better once the eliminations kicked in. Enjoyed Zeb's reaction to the Giant Swing at the end.
  10. Audio seems to have immediately improved once they went ringside.
  11. My computer, PS3 and Kindle are all having audio issues. Picture on PS3 is much better than Kindle. Kindle is also 10 seconds behind even though I picked the live option.
  12. My audio is not too good right now.
  13. That little referee was getting thrown all over the place. I'm finding the abuse he takes to be pretty amusing. Was laughing when he was thrown outside the ring and called for the disqualification. But he is so short you can barely see him behind ring apron. So he has to climb in the ring for the time keeper to see him to ring the bell for disqualification. Yep, on one of the recent Legends of Wrestling shows uploaded to Network that have some good pics of Slaughter as Beautiful Bob Remus. We need more discussion about the Baron Tragedy Scale. I want to know what gets a full 10 on this scale. This was not the best way to get Martel over. Was a cute finish but a nothing short match overall. Garea's hair was very wavy in this match. Felt the same as you guys that this needed more time. It is a bit frustrating that we do not get to see proper blow offs to feuds with the video footage available. I do miss the Valiants myself when it comes to having to watch these Samoans. There has also been a very lack of fun promos lately from Albano, Blassie and Wizard. Johnny really talked up that Samoans match like it was good. It wasn't. So we are getting a full Spectrum show so we can listen to Kal? I am looking forward to hear him talking about Martel.
  14. I enjoy listening to the Legends shows at work. Well except for the Flair ones. But agreed Sarge did a good job with his story telling. Hope they keep uploading more of those. The latest WrestleMania Rewind with Cena was the weakest one so far. I thought his match with JBL was underwhelming since you had Batista in the main event later on in show winning the World Title. I did like seeing the clips of Cena from 2002 though. Some of his moves looked better back then.
  15. Was this JIP as we are immediately hitting each other with chairs. I am curious to watch Generico here. The multiple superkicks by the Bucks was a segment I did not care much for. At least they are able to knock the referee down with them. Then a second referee hits a superkick on one of the Bucks after getting pulled out of the ring. Non stop superkicks. That finish sucked. Guy gets dropped on his head like that but is able to get an inside cradle for the win immediately?
  16. Callihan likes doing powerbombs as he hits three of them in the first couple minutes. Drake turns the momentum with a Michinoku Driver on the ring apron. Death Valley Driver off the stage on to the floor. Drake beats the count and looks totally fine after. Oh my. Showing no ill effects at all. I hate this crowd. Unprotected chair shots to the head. Yikes. Was laughing at the use of the Traffic cone. These guys are killing each other but lets throw in some comedy. I am getting angry at the use of chair shots to Drake’s head and he is no selling them. This match was garbage.
  17. WWE's PG rating does make these type of matches tougher with the lack of violence. I did like the spot where Del Rio recognized he was not going to be able to get up to his feet to beat count so rolled out of ring and put his feet on ground while up against apron to “stand up”. Turning over the whole announce table on top of Show was a pretty cool finish.
  18. What is the deal with wrestling shows and monday nights? You got Raw every week. Nitro countered that for years. Memphis Coliseum had their weekly shows too. WWF MSG shows were on mondays. For a few years Summerslam was held on a Monday. Building availability? Good night for ticket sales?
  19. All the WWE PPVs disappeared from my Kindle for almost a day. Looks like there is some reorganization going on as both ECW and WCW PPVs appear also under Vault.
  20. I watched the footage ages ago but only got around to listening to show today. Glad to hear you guys again. I am so behind but I do enjoy the Superbowl picks. Johnny was realistic about his own team in the end. I hope Pete did not put any money on the game. Chief Jay Historian. Go with it Kelly. Really enjoyed the psychology talk to open show. Like the term story telling as far as what goes on in the ring but I do not like the phrase when it comes to commentators in WWE. I feel like this are not always on the mark with their story telling of what is going on in the ring. The PWO talk was fun. Samoans have not been too entertaining in the ring. Thought Goulet lasted longer than 97 in WWF. When it came to agents trying to do the breaking up of wrestlers he gave about the least effort of anyone. I could not watch Denucci/Scicluna as it seemed to disappear from Youtube before I got around to trying to see it. What a shame! I am missing out on a gem I bet. Patera/Andre was very disappointing to me. I did not really even like it. Thought it would be much better. Hogan match was better for me. Larry as wrestler of the year for WWF? I can see it. Rest of the matches on the card weren't too good but at least we got a good match out of Larry/Backlund. Darth Vader! Kal Watch stuff was great. I wonder if anyone from the office listened to the commentary for the shows for what those two guys were putting out there. Johnny was really getting on a roll towards the end of the show with the impressions.
  21. Man, was totally thinking the same thing after watching these couple matches. I was expecting an alternative and different match to WWE and came away feeling there was not much of a difference. Like mentioned with the camera pulling out back, felt something out of the WWE playbook. I just checked out Meltzer's star ratings for the three matches shown and am not on the same level after viewing. This is still a pretty good match though. Okada using Lucha type submissions. The camera seemed to always zoom into his face. Much more than they would for Tanahashi. It started off with both guys feeling each other out before Okada hits a dangerous elevated DDT out of nowhere. Ending was really good with lots of swings and back and forth between both guys. Maybe my expectations were too high going in after hearing all the talk about NJPW lately. Also, going in cold without knowing much of what was going on leading up to this match. Went over an half an hour and they did not lose me. I do not want to come off like I did not enjoy the match but the overall presentation was not what I was expecting.
  22. Watched video package beforehand. That Survivor Series match was not good with the ridiculous non finish of Austin crushing HHH's car. Austin turns his own Thesz Press into taking a Stungun himself onto the ropes. Single arm DDT by Austin! Did not lead to enough arm work by Steve but HHH continues to sell the shoulder. Two more Thesz presses. Also two stunner attempts where HHH blocked and pushed Austin into the same corner. HHH tries to come off the turnbuckle and eats a Stunner to finish first fall. Bit messy and they were doing finisher counters in the first fall. You would think HHH would get the first fall so Austin has to chase him and win the next two straight falls. Two suplexes on the ring ramp. I am seeing a trend. Austin clobbering Triple with a chair shots to the legs. Stone Cold bleeding all over Lawler’s announce spot. Hebner wants both guys to get back in the ring. In a street fight. Go away. Austin tells him to get f out of here and pushes him down. That was the appropriate response. Triple using neckbreakers on a chair. King and Ross bickering about who put the sledgehammer under their announcing desk was funny. That is about as clean as you see Austin being beat. Both guys trying to maul each other with the barbed wire two by four. Austin kicks out of the Pedigree and HHH out of the Stunner. Crowd didn’t seem to think Austin was going to get the pin though. Double shot as Triple H falls on top of Austin to win the third fall. Stone gets a consolation Stunner in after the match. Good match though a bit sloppy at times. The booking though. The blow off for this feud with Triple H putting Austin on the shelf for almost a year is him winning the deciding match? The bad guy should be losing in the end. Plus he wins the last two falls of the match relatively clean with Austin going into WrestleMania as the challenger for the WWF Title. I did not follow up with Angle/Rock from the same show but I actually liked that one a bit more than this when I watched the show first time.
  23. Sakuraba seems pasty looking. Have not seen a wrestling match of his since before he got into MMA. I did not expect much out of this one so ended up thinking this was a good affair. Some slick mat work with submissions from Sakuraba though that did feel a bit too short in the end. Nakamura comes with the big bombs. The type of match that gets over with the Dome crowd. Felt like a Choshu match in a way. No messing around.
  24. Oh my. Low-Ki wrestles in a suit like he is some type of hitman. I never get why organizations set up their main camera to be aiming towards a ramp. Let us see the crowd. Triple Threat match. See how this works. Taguchi hits a pretty sweet looking flippy dive to the outside on both opponents. He has some flashy moves. I did always really like the Ki Krusher move. Liger did the top rope DDT much better. Lots of moves here but that was that match. Right from the beginning. Each guy just hitting a move after move. Mindless entertainment. Well at least they did not bother with the matwork that goes nowhere.
  25. Very quick work in the first fall. I like the camera work on the big dive to the outside. Made it seem like there was serious height on the move. I noticed they are using the countout more during the falls after guys being hit with dives outside. Double moonsaults to the outside. Man, just laughing at these really overly dramatic move sequences. Falling backwards over the top rope to the outside but still pulling off a headscissors on the guy on the floor. I really like how the third fall played out where it came down to two guys and they get extended time against each other. Not one guy gets pinned and his teammate is pinned seconds later. First two falls were not much but the third fall really brought this match up in the end.
