    Terry Taylor no showed the tag match against Lawler and Jarrett. Lawler doesn’t mention who the replacement ended up being.

    You got mail! Not email though. Pringle will be locked in the penalty box in a return mixed tag team match. Chris does a lot of yelling for a gentleman. A woman comes ringside and attacks Toni. Jeannie, with cast on arm, helps out. Pringle must be wearing a bra under the dress. Chris Von Erich attacks Pringle but ends up getting chocked. Adams gets locked in the penalty box and is joined by Von Erich leaving Toni alone. They end up locking Toni in there too. Dog of War gets thrown out of the ring but kissed Jeannie on his way out of the arena. Austin and Jeannie both seemed to not know how to react to that. Adams runs Austin off with a chair. Adams now wants Pringle to be placed in cage and be raced to ceiling. He’s just making up the rules now.

    Flair is using his match against against Luger as a stepping stone back to the top. Sid grabs Ross’ tie at one point.

    Not sure if they are changing the spelling of Cowabunga’s name to avoid potential lawsuits or if it was just spelled wrong again. Some bright colored wrestling tights. Dave Brown questions if Cowabunga’s mask is fire proof. I hope this is tested out. Cowabunga with a technical win. He wears Doug Gilbert’s wig in the ring.

    Next match where you have to bloody all three of your opponents to win. No pinfalls/disqualifications. Lawler does a good job of explaining all these different matches we get.

    DWG threw powder into Tessa’s eyes and pins her. Tessa has been booted out of USWA. DWG gets carried to interview area. What happened to the Dundee/Tessa wedding? Lawler/Dundee found themselves a new valet though. Vicious Vicky comes and drags DWG into the ring. We get to see DWG’s crotch. Quality saturday morning programming. DWG gets her dressed ripped off and runs off.

    In a cage but they are still using legal tags. Doug Gilbert has joined up with Brother Eddie and DWB. Anthony hits Doug by mistake and gets pinned by Lawler. So Doug gets his head shaved. Granny Gilbert left a special hair potion for her grandkids. Doug unmasks to show that the potion does indeed work! They found the cure for hair loss.

    Gene runs down the Summerslam card. Bad News will have 200 pounds of sewer rats in his corner. I had no idea they were promoting a singles match for Santana versus Martel. But Ric can’t make it due to a modeling gig so Warlord takes his place.

    Brother Love lets us know that Tugboat got the same Earthquake treatment. Hogan confirms that Tugboat will not be in his corner at Summerslam. Wondered why they removed Tugboat this close to show. Hogan has another big friend though to back him up. The Big Boss Man.

    Flair has no idea who the Black Scorpion is and that he is not associated with the Horsemen. The Horsemen wouldn’t hide when wrestling for the World Title. Flair blames the powers to be in Turner organization for him not facing Sting.

    Dandy is looking all class with his tuxedo tshirt. When Satanico has you by the arm watch out for his bulldog/arm bar move. Good exchange between Dandy and Atlantis. Rudos quickly pull out the first fall after it looked like Atlantis had the edge. Cruz and Dandy go full speed. Dandy losing the exchanges so far. Another really quick fall. Everyone is flying around. Atlantis catches Sananico out of nowhere with a backbreaker. Everyone looked really good and the moves were so crisp. I wish it had more time though but it was still great.

    Masakre also taking a stroll. Crossing the street and getting into a car. Interesting vignette.

    Lots of posing and flexing. Some wrestling action though in the gym.

    Jarrett wearing the suit a lot. Six man cage match. Like to see that one.

    Black Scorpion is mentioned by Ross and they are expecting a statement. Ross is talking about the Falcons and Hawks. He can get a bit distracted when doing commentary by himself. Luger hits Arn low with the double knee. Both guys are drenched in sweat already. Must be hot as hell in the building. Arn survives the Torture Rack long enough for Flair and Sid to save him. Sting and JYD quickly follow to help Luger. JYD was slow to get to his feet. Sid could have stomped about twenty times.

    Sting will defend his title in a rematch against Flair. Ric tells Sting of the Horsemen and they want the tile back. Sting reminds us about the Dudes with Attitudes. Sting backs off when Sid and Arn show up. That was strange.

    Vader trying his own Scorpion Death lock but Riki blocks it and make the ropes. Vader ditches the mask. He busts open Choshu with some headbutts. Mauling him right now. Vader makes a mistake and gets suplexed off the top. Lariats and Death lock but Vader makes the ropes. Choshu just winds up the arm and clotheslines Vader under he stays down. Vader’s eye is messed up again.

    Benoit press slams Liger to the floor outside. Long bump to take. Benoit flying around the ring as much as Liger. Top rope leg drop wins it for Benoit. This compared to the Owen match really does show how much better suited Benoit was in Japan compared to Hart. Really enjoyable match.

    Getting snapmared by your hair looks fun. Aja is slimmer. Bull just toys with her opponents at times. Aja’s got her trusty tin basket. Ref is cool with it. Bull and Aja have been kept apart during match. They finally go head to head. Top rope legdrop out of nowhere. Fight over a suplex attempt. Grizzly and Bison are bringing the weapons. Bull completely no sells kendo stick shots. She then grabs a stick herself and puts a hurting on Kong. Fighting in the crowd. Finish felt kind of anticlimatic but the brawling continues. Good violent match that did seem odd at times with the weapons/everyone in the ring brawl and then going back to a standard tag match.

    Hokuto’s knee is wrapped up. Doesn’t stop her from climbing to the top and hitting flying splashes. Toyota goes after the knee. Tombstone reversal on the floor but Hokuto gets up quickly and hits her own piledriver. Yuck. Toyota almost lost her balance on the top rope. Then she seemed to miss the follow up earlier move. Ouch, Toyota had her neck snapped in Boston crab. Time limit draw.

    They got Lawler on the phone to speak to Akbar and Terry Taylor. High tech stuff. Lawler makes Rooster references which Terry seemed to love.

    Jeannie is done wrestling Toni as has beaten her already in the ring. Austin talking about the pillsbury match. He makes a cookie reference to his amusement. Austin doesn’t need to be doing anymore matches either with Adams as has beaten him enough.

    Jarrett wants to know who the mystery tag partner is. Akbar isn’t that dumb and won’t tell him. Jarrett will beat it out of him then. Terry Taylor is the mystery man! Big beat down for Jarrett including a spike piledriver. Lets see what Taylor can do.

    Toni and Chris are back together again. Queensbury rules match. No kicking and punching. Chris always is sick and tired of things. There is a penalty box for the women if they get out of line. I understand a closed fist is illegal but don’t see the problem with kicking. But any of those will lead to losing the match. Toni plans on ending up in the penalty box with Jeannie.

    Pillman has been absent a few months. Thought he had a nice start to 1990. Pillman dropkicks Eaton who was up on the top rope. Pillman then hits a running dropkick off the apron to Eaton on the floor. Cornette nails Pillman in the throat with the tennis racket. Are they going back to this storyline? Sid? He attacks everyone. Don’t know what that’s all about.
