  1. Buddy Landell's promo was hilarious and awesome. Great stuff.
  2. Shawn sucks in this interview instigating shit and what not. Cornette frantically denies that Yokozuna is scared of the Undertaker. We also find out that Walter Payton will be in Razor's corner at Summerslam for his match against Diesel for the IC title.
  3. This was pretty funny actually. Ray Rougeau is the best part of this.
  4. This was fast paced and short. Everything looked fine and both guys seem to be able to work a pretty strong sprint.
  5. Mikey does indeed look like a child. He fucking just graduated from high school too.
  6. This was really great. Hashimoto was outstanding. Koshinaka was good for the most part but his random no selling a few times bothered me. The mat work was really intricate and cool looking. The next section of the match was Hashimoto remaining in control for the most part and largely for the rest of the match but with Koshinaka getting comebacks and throwing bombs when he could. Some of the cut off spots were tremendously executed by Hashimoto. He was just fucking excellent in this match. This was the best New Japan match I have seen with heavies in it since the Hash-Liger match early in the year.
  7. This is a good little hate filled TV match. Dustin works over Buck's leg and Buck works over Dustin's arm. Buck really knows how to work nasty and hate filled matches. He has some cool intricacies that make him unique. There's a fun pull apart brawl afterwards and Dusty cuts an awesome promo too calling Meng and the Stud Stable members errand boys for Col. Parker. Great stuff.
  8. Ricky and Robert give the fans a picture of how Tammy would look without hair hyping the big hair match coming up. This was okay.
  9. Terry is hilarious here trying to figure out how many Armstrongs there are. Dory is as stagnant as ever. There's some annoying ass background noise from another show.
  10. New Jack yet again cuts a tremendous promo essentially calling MLK a coward and saying he and Saed would be the Rock N Roll Express like the whites use to do to their ancestors.
  11. Sid and Huber assault two black jobbers and whip them with belts. That's nice. Then they go in the ring and give Jeff Gaylord three spike powerbombs who then does a stretcher job. That's even better. This was a great angle though.
  12. I was hoping for another classic. I didn't get that although there was still really good exchanges in this. The third fall was a wild clusterfuck with refs getting their ass kicked and reversed decisions. I guess I'm a cynic but I was more annoyed about this than entertained. Tirantes was amusing though.
  13. This was good. Both guys bring the intensity level pretty high with their impactful strikes. The detailed struggles on the mat are always nice and Fujiwara is definitely a master at it. The two indeed have great chemistry as well. I don't think I liked this as much as others but I still enjoyed it a good bit.
  14. This has to be Jericho's breakthrough performance. He wrestled with one arm, still making his offense look effective and bled everywhere for an extremely compelling FIP segment. And yes, this match was good too with some nifty counters and double team moves from both sides.
  15. He has two or three excellent matches with Buddy Rose and is also in a couple of really great tags opposite Rose. All of this is from Portland in 79. These matches are on Will's Buddy Rose Comp.
  16. JR is in SMW! And so is New Jack! He once again cuts a tremendous promo bashing the NAACP, SMW TV producers, and SMW fans. He finishes by telling everyone to kiss his black ass. Awesome.
  17. This was totally bizarre. It was definitely a wild brawl and entertaining in parts but it lacked that special feeling that a great match has. The Headhunters athleticism is extremely impressive though and I'll give them that.
  18. This started out very slow and just another one of the disappointing G-1 matches. The final minutes were much better and I enjoyed the near falls a good bit. Overall, I'd say this was close to very good but then again I'm comparing it to the previous G-1 matches. Still, this was a good match.
  19. This is solid. Both guys beat the hell out of each other and throw in some nice cheapshots. Fujiwara is nailing excessive headbutts and Yatsu gets pissed and low blows Fujiwara. He gets in a few more big moves and gets the win.
  20. This was an average match but I did like Yatsu's sitting Indian Deathlock. That looked painful as hell. Choshu does for sure know how to build heat too.
  21. I thought this was pretty good. Muto works Fujiwara on the mat for most of the match and gives him some suplexes. Fujiwara catches Muto on his backflip elbow with his signature armbar for the victory.
  22. Hase wrestles Hash on the mat then Hash kicks Hase really hard. Hase gets a flash pin for the big upset and the crowd is thrilled. The match was decent but the moment was great.
  23. This was a tremendous segment. Lawler harasses Savage and then finds a couple with the boyfriend proposing. He brings the chick in the ring and she says yes then harasses her about her nose and her future marriage. Backlund is the guest on the King's Court and he cuts a great promo on the New Generation and says he should be champion. Great stuff.
  24. This was quite good. Shawn's bumping was superb and his offense was solid. I didn't like Razor randomly applying Shawn in a bear hug because the psychology felt backwards considering Razor is the face. Most of the exchanges were really good and some of the near falls were timed well. The finish is okay because it continued the Diesel-Razor feud.
  25. This was hilarious. Vince and Savage shit on the government.
