  1. I'll take Bull Brannigan (after looking it over I need another heel jobber type) and that'll be it for me. That leaves Mark Savage and Chief Thunder Cloud (if Parv confirms that he's still released after clearing up which ThunderCloud he was) available for the developmental feds. You could even even add his son Chuy to the mix.
  2. Agreed, this is probably the best solution for undrafted guys and for those that have been released. I'm assuming that wrestlers that have been undrafted or released would go into the draft pool for the next month?
  3. There's no value in a jobbed out freelancer. I'll move any further discussion about this to general chatter, I think this conversation is starting to take away attention from the rest of KrisZ's work (as he mentioned the Jake Roberts angle is getting overlooked).
  4. In a vacuum, yes, this was great build-up and storytelling. For those looking to bring in Brody, it's going to be difficult to have him destroy your top faces to build heat after jobbing clean in this manner on national TV.
  5. Well, that nixes any possibility of me bringing in Brody this year.
  6. If anybody has any other wrestler or manager who is not listed and they think should be eligible during the next few months, go ahead and ask just in case. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make another selection. There really is almost no information on Mark Savage, so i really have no idea about him. Bull Brannigan seems to drop of the map after 1983.
  7. Pretty spot on. The only change I'd make is swap Good for Well.
  8. Bueno, si crees que ayude a que sea más autentico lo puedo hacer.
  9. It's interesting though that virtually all of the Mexican wrestlers appearing in WWC around this time (82-84) all seem to be from LLI. It's almost like they had some sort of working arrangement at the time.
  10. I didn't expect to be nominated, let alone have so much support. Thank you. Are there any other nominees?
  11. I guess this is as a good a thread to also post my question (let me know if it's okay peachchaos). Puerto Rico has a history of luchadores from Mexico making appearances in Puerto Rico. in particular, there are two that I'm interested in bringing in for some appearances this year. Dos Caras Perro Aguayo Both actually did make appearances for WWC in 1983.
  12. I'm guessing we need to appoint a second vice-president with Bob Geigel's departure. Should we ask for nominees?
  13. WWC will select Dusty Wolfe. Its Flyin Brian's turn to pick or pass.
  14. This Thundercloud even has a son that wrestles named Chuy. By the way, are you going to pick someone else Parv or will you pass?
  15. The active order is: JerryVonKramer LowBlowPodcast El Boricua Flyin Brian
  16. This Chief Thundercloud is 49 years old. There is another guy who used the name who is 63, but this one is Juan Lopez.
  17. Assuming Jhawk keeps Bockwinkel. But I second goodhelmet, Jhawk's been great in my dealings with him, I wouldn't worry about him being unreasonable.
  18. It's a risk that happens when you make wrestlers not under your control such an essential part of your plans. But don't worry, I'm sure it will be worked out.
  19. WWC picks Steve Travis (The Carolina Connection rides again).
  20. Wade Smeltzer's really got ol' Verne paranoid that he's putting eyes and ears where he can. Beat me to it, I was going to suggest Heart of Dixie Wrestling.
  21. Only one way to find out. Has anyone heard from dedhemingway?
  22. Are we going to get to this before August starts?
  23. Don't worry, it's the right thread to post this.
  24. Thanks for the feedback guys. Actually posting a house show has got me all motivated to keep it going. Throwing your opponent over the top rope in WWC is not actually a DQ, but since this was an NWA World Heavyweight title match the NWA rules for title matches were in effect. Thus, in this case, it resulted in the DQ.
