WWE TV 12/02 - 12/08 DiCaprio is setting the world on fire!

I believe that was JBL -
I recall really liking Austin's matches with Benoit and Jericho in 2001 as fantastic later career Austin matches and the best of that heel run. 2 matches vs Benoit in Canada on RAW 5/28/01 and SD that week, then against Jericho on the following week's Raw.

WWE TV 11/25 - 12/1 Soccer does take politics away from the spotlight

AMEN. The timing of Smackdown turning to shit is no coincidence... Absolutely absurd that Sasha has been stuck to her for 4 years and cannot escape and somehow ALWAYS ends up as the sidekick. Even when they were teaming Sasha's entrance would always be cut short for Bayley's. Sasha does the big return and heel turn but Bayley gets the title runs and has to have her own heel turn. Ridiculous. -
Loved this show all the way through. Statlander is awesome.
-
I took this week more as just taking the holiday week off like other shows do (like Impact kind of did from their regular program) But yeah the PPV card isn't looking great and it needs Tim Storm.
-
"Nobody paid attention to their entrances or used their flexibility until Melina" lol. Weird episode. But yeah Thunder Rosa is awesome. Never knew that, what did he say?
-
I think it was that Bischoff had said that at Tony Schiavone's roast or whatever, Tony Khan had stormed out after Mark Madden called him a money mark. Conrad and others have since said that was not true and that Tony had simply left to go downstairs and eat with others.

While they're doing a different act here and Ortiz especially more over the top psycho with the expressions, I think they are both very capable talkers if/when allowed to be. As mentioned Konnan of course was always a big plus to the whole act but their last promo was my favorite of theirs.

hahaha. Popped for this. On point

Just seeing it here but man that NXT tank nonsense is so horribly goofy and lame.

A true holy grail from the hidden gems. Always wondered and that has got to be thee most random of all things for that line to have come from.

lol @ "a lot of top people that people wouldn't expect" *Seth Rollins has been spotted in Orlando!* Outside of Brock/Rey, zero interest in the Survivor Series card and that's the only match with any real stakes or heat to it. 2016 was the last great Survivor Series where the RAW vs SD match was actually really awesome and then the Brock/Goldberg shocker closed the show.

Crazy, Cornette's been using that fried chicken line for 30+ years. He used it about Big Bubba in 1987, later in WWE in 1995, and here it is again. I hope next set of tapings has more Tim Storm. While I've enjoyed every episode, Storm/Aldis from the debut remains my favorite match.
-
Last week teaming with Charlotte, Natalya makes Asuka tap. This week Becky gets the title shot w/ Charlotte. ugh.

Combate Americas just signed with AXS to begin airing their shows next year. Indy star Thunder Rosa just made her MMA debut for them this past weekend. It was said to be a "multi-fight contract" when he signed in April.
-
Co-signed on all that. Maybe my favorite match of the show since the predictable nature of the Cody/Jericho finish deflated me a bit. I don't think they'll go back to Riho/Britt since they just did it on week 3 last month, but that was of course Britt's best match and I loved the finish. I'm loving Riho more and more with each match so they've got me hoping for a long reign as champion. I'm guessing Kong will be her eventual endgame but the other challengers I'd love to see her face in the meantime. Shanna as you mentioned has been excellent and another match with Hikaru Shida with more build would have me excited. I also hope Emi Sakura sticks around as a semi-regular as she was great, her and Riho's finishing sequences were fantastic.

No, I was looking for the "multiple" occasions, envirornments, and situations where he garnered a star reaction. I got one environment in NXT and one situation in a Rumble surprise. Contrast those reactions to Raw, Smackdown, and AEW. You said Spears could at least garner a star reaction, implying that Pac could not, so I simply provided a time in which he did.
-
No, but he was announced ahead of time as an entrant thus not a 'surprise entrant'.
-
Well of course a surprise Rumble entry is going to generate a star reaction for anyone not on the main roster.

Outside of the NXT Full Sail crowd that treats everybody that way? Neville/Rollins - 8/3/15, the pop for Neville almost winning was massive. Really the escalation of the crowd from each big spot to that gigantic moment was impressive. Way bigger and more memorable than anything I've ever seen from Spears. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJUVE0X63Ck

I only hated how telegraphed the finish was. More than that, I hate the stip because I can't imagine anyone vs Jericho being as hot of a babyface as Cody. Fuck the post match though. Too soon, we all knew it was coming eventually but I felt they could've dragged it out much longer.

Love the little Jericho/Malenko face off

Guessing MJF throws in the towel (scarf) as the finish. But I would kinda love to see them go 60
