I guess they went off of his impact on the dojo.

I'm total agreement with you. It's best to wait until wrestler's career is done or if they have such a compelling body of work you have no choice but to put them in (example John Cena). Got me wondering how those Nakamura voters view him now?

Straight action from start to finish with heavy bombs being thrown, really fun stuff. -

Great that Ali is now on Smackdown and he could be something special It's sad that the story of his journey of becoming champion on 205 live is over. -
I'll add a haircut and shave to the mix also.

I really hope Lars Sullivan goes to Smackdown cause I don't want to see him get killed with this Raw nonsense like they've done with Bruan. -
Excellent stuff right here. I know some hate the grapplefuck/WOS style but I love it and this is how it's done right. Everything was tight, crisp, and intense working at a fast pace. Add another one to the WOTYC year ZSJ has been having. Gresham stepped up his game and seems poised to be elevated in 2019.

[2018-12-16-WWE-TLC] Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax
Tenese Sarwieh replied to paul sosnowski's topic in December 2018
Nia is either a hit and miss with me and on this night she was a hit. Ronda is the perfect opponent for Nia when it comes to making her look like a legit monster. Ronda has great physical charisma and her offense is killer as usual, good stuff overall. -
[2018-12-16-WWE-TLC] Daniel Bryan vs A.J. Styles
Tenese Sarwieh replied to paul sosnowski's topic in December 2018
This right here was great in every way. It started off slow but the more it build the these two got in their element. Bryan's aggressive work on the ribs and AJ's counter work on the left leg was masterful. That knee strikes to the cravate suplex was EPIC on all levels. Also Aj's selling was superb especially coming down to the with hitting the 450. And the finish was was a sight to be hold, Bryan won with a small package but most importantly he won strong. Heels can be heels and win strong, loved it. Great condensed version of Bryan's 06 run and actually have me pumped for something in WWE going into 2019. -
I urge you to watch Zack Sabre Jr vs A-Kid - 4/14/18 it's a strong MOTYC.

[2018-12-04-Dragon Gate] Masato Yoshino vs PAC
Tenese Sarwieh replied to paul sosnowski's topic in December 2018
This delivered big time. Yoshino was great in his role as working underneath but PAC was in a whole different element. His agressive brawling/aerial assault combination was so on point. Truly one of his best performances in years, you could see he had that gonna prove WWE wrong in every possible way mentality. Hopefully this can help Dragon Gate on the business side. -
Sad news indeed. As a kid growing up I always heard Benoit in multiple interviews go and go about Dynamite being pound for pound the best wrestler ever, later on through the years thanks to site like youtube and dailymotion helped me saw the greatness that he spoke. May his soul rest in paradise.

Gotta give him credit, Dreamer has this great ability to find himself on these cards in 2018.

WWE TV 12/03 - 12/09 Bolsonaro made me abandon my sports team
Tenese Sarwieh replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
WWE have this great skill of making their stars feel less special than how they present them. -
Totally forgot to add Queen's Quest/Oedo Tai in my post. You're right about it being the highlight for Stardom. That tag elimination match earlier this year is a MOTYC and made me a fan of Tam Nakano for life.

After seeing the thread for wrestler and match of the year I'm wanting to get a feel of what feuds that stood out for everyone on the forum. I got LAX vs. OGz and Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane.

Never knew either, I have to watch this and Nomura/Togo asap.
