This was the second MOTN and possibly the best Hansen/Rowe has ever looked in their careers. Strong/O'Reilly were great as usual and they bumped their asses off trying to make the raiders the two baddest beast in the world. The power spots were on point and that hot tag from Hanson was incredible. 2019 has already been a good year for tag team wrestling.

I had high expectations hoping that these would live up to the fantastic match they had WM Weekend 2014, well they did that and then some. They had the mindset of we're going to have the best PWG match we can. I know some on the board hated all the flips from Ricochet but he execute them so perfectly, MOTN for me.

War Raiders vs UE/Gargano vs Ricochet was excellent and the women's match was very good.

Edwin called it, I take my hat off to you good sir.

I think KUSHIDA's New Japan deal is not up yet, could be wrong.

Yes and I loved it.

This was awesome these two blew out what they did 2014 WM Weekend. Sometimes you just a spot fest in your life.

Digging Ricochet's Miles Morales getup.

If i was up to me have him lose the shirt. It looks more amazing him pulling off the things he does and knowing he has a gut. Also this match delivered.

This was great stuff from these four. I know UE is a hot act in NXT but it's been time for them to head on the main roster.

Great southern tag match with Bate/Seven defining their roles perfectly. I didn't get the appeal if Trent Seven but over the last two years he has won me over. He does fip so well and sets up Tyler Bate for those super hot tags. Gibson was awesome in his heel work riling up the crowd on letting every action breathe. Brilliant stuff all around.

They was trying to pull off this big epic dome dream match but this dragged. The grappling and counter grappling went on forever. It picks up a little when every guy hit signature moves (Shining Wizards/Sambo Suplexes) but it dies down quickly. Really disappointing to me because this was Mutoh's midas touch year and expected so much more.

WWE T.V 1/21 - 1/27. The last gasp to the Royal Rumble

They really should hire the guy that does Mustafa Ali's video packages, those have been slam dunks. Also I Bryan to go on a flat earth tirade on AJ calling back to their segment on Talking Smack. -
WWE TV 01/14 - 01/20 Bolsonarism is taking us to the Middle Ages

I think this is there first time wearing them. Also I can live with a good 20 minutes with Lucha Houseparty/Revival. -
Homecoming was an enjoyable show. The Ultimate X and the Tag titles match totally delivered, everything else was solid with the exception of the botched ending with Impact/Cage. Impact had a good 2018 and I've been enjoying their product. Hoping the best for them in 2019 and hoping that Callis/D'amore find a big money backer like AEW did with the Khans.

I'd be surprised if AEW doesn't say they have a tv deal with WGN at the press conference.

I've always dug Ultimo dragon's attire. For some reason his Green, Light Blue, and his Pink Color schemes really popped on screen for me as a kid. Great Muta is a must for this thread. I love all of his attires especially his All Japan demon mask and his pirates of the caribbean getup. Happy New Year to all!!!

Who is a better in ring performer?
Tenese Sarwieh replied to yesdanielbryan's topic in Pro Wrestling
This is one of the polls I had difficulty in deciding. With the criteria you stated both men checks everyone of those boxes. I guess with versatility of oppents and making weaker performers look better than they really are I'd give the slight edge to Danielson. -

Merry Christmas to you as well. Majority of these had my head hurting so I can only be clear about polls 1 and 5. Kobashi is one of those I hold in high regard as the epitome of a perfect professional wrestler. He just excelled at everything from strikes, selling, and facials. It also didn't hurt that he had that legendary GHC title run to add to his body of work while Kawada was having great ones in the 00s but not on the level of Kobashi. I've grown a appreciation for Taue over the years but if cleaning in the execution of moves is a big criteria for determining who's better then I'm going with Nagata all the way. Taue's clunkiness has a charm to it but wears out pretty quickly over time. -
I get what some are saying about Tanahashi having his moments here and there but I think it was all by design. This match mostly was the Will Ospreay show and his assention to the heavyweights. Everything that was done here was fantastic, even the camera work when Ospreay landed on his feet and close up on Ibushi's face was masterful. What a excellent tag match to end the year and keep people pumped for Wrestle Kingdom.
