Related topic, who is the most over baby face competing right now? A genuine babyface for all everyone, not somebody who gets 50/50 cheer/boo reactions or JBL/RVD chants during his matches? Dean Ambrose? Maybe Dolph Ziggler? That's pretty sad considering their card placement.

If Bryan were ever cleared, turning him heel would be a really bad idea. He's the only babyface on the "roster" who is over with the entire fanbase. He's one of the only babyfaces who got over organically in the past five years. You don't see smarky towns chanting "Bryan Sucks." What babyface would he be paired against that wouldn't get eviscerated by the crowds?

On Nitro, there was no reason that someone like Lex Luger wouldn't wrestle somebody at the Sick Boy level. WCW elevating guys out of their assigned tiers is a different story, but mixing stuff up like that is always fun. On Raw, Randy Orton only wrestles guys at his tier that he's feuding with in endless variations of tag matches. There's only so many times you can watch the same match. Raw did an R-Truth vs. Bo Dallas match a few weeks ago and the first thing that came to my mind was that there's no way this will be an actual match and not background noise for an angle. And sure enough, Vince came out in two minutes and told both guys to leave the ring. They use the same pairings so often now that if I see Fandango in the ring I'm immediately waiting for Brock Lesnars music to hit or something along those lines.

If he wasn't injured, this would a situation MADE for a guy like Rusev to win. I feel like I've said this before: - For the Survivor Series tournament a couple months ago when he was hurt - For the Money in the Bank briefcase last summer when he was hurt He's had some terrible luck since the Cena feud.

Never knew Power and Glory had music, nice find. Kind of reminds me of the first theme the Beverly's would use. I wonder if it was just a generic bumper theme for one of their TV shows that got repurposed, they did that quite often back then. And seeing the Rockers there reminded me they actually did use Judas Priest in the WWF for one or two shows, I used to have a recording of it years ago when I used to collect rare themes but that stuff is long gone.

They're getting to the point right now where they won't have a choice in the matter and I'm interested to see how they react. Angle, Austin, Hogan, Flair and Foley probably couldn't get medical clearance. Sting was nearly crippled in his last match. Goldberg hasn't wrestled in ten years. And he's pushing 50. Undertaker has to be winding down. Rock already had his nostalgia run and quite frankly has better things to do. HBK shouldn't wrestle again and I honestly think he feels the same way. Thankfully, we still have HHH.

I'd like a rematch at some point

Jeff just said on podcasts that he needs surgery and won't be doing anything in 2016 but Matt is ready to go any day. Matt has said in the past that his back can't take a WWE schedule. Who knows?

I was wondering if Lawler had been a heel on Smackdown or if this was new. It wasn't overt but definitely not the same lazy Lawler. I liked it.

I really want somebody here to do a comprehensive list of Bella turns like the ones we occasionally do for Big Show and Kane.

It's not hard, they just haven't been doing this at all lately. Just eliminate them in a way that teases a big Mania feud that people would be excited for. Remember when Micheals eliminated Angle in 2005 to setup their Mania program? Or Brock/Goldberg in the 2004 Rumble? They never do that anymore... Agree you can absolutely set up a marquee match that way, but no one there was debuting in the Rumble. Just not sure how you don't blunt the momentum of the debut by having the segment close with that person coming up short. I guess I'm talking about recent Rumble eliminations in general but I think the rules still apply. A brand new guy who's never been on TV before isn't winning the Rumble anyway and I think most fans realize this. Basically what I'm getting at is they need Pat Patterson back in January production meetings.

According to the taping reports I'm seeing, the answer seems to be no. Colour me unsurprised lol And they're running Becky vs Charlotte which we just saw on Raw, and Ambrose vs Owens which we've seen dozens of times as their featured matches. They could have saved the Reigns vs Sheamus rematch for the first show to make it special. New channel, same old Smackdown.

Funny you just posted that. My brother isn't a wrestling fan anymore but he's a big ebay guy and he's always sending me pics of wrestling VHS tapes he picks up to sell. I was also wondering who still buys VHS but apparently there's still some hardcore completists out there. A lot of the mid 1990s WWF stuff from when business was down is pretty hard to find. Anything WCW outside of their NWO boom years usually goes for a decent amount, especially the last few PPV's they released commercially in 2000. Looks like you might have some decent stuff, good luck with those.

I think Zayn has a much better chance than Balor because Zayn can draw sympathy as a babyface unlike pretty much anyone else on the roster right now. Balor has really struggled at working from underneath. And due to his size, that's something he's going to have to do when he gets called up. It's possible he will struggle with this since his role in NXT is the dominant babyface ace. He will not be playing that role on the main roster.

I actually really like this way of debuting Bayley. Great way of transitioning what made her work without just letting her sink or swim. I think she has much more potential on the main roster than Balor does.

Don't wanna typecast, but when I think of fan video, I immediately think of something like "DXfanz316" opinion on this week's NXT, mouth-breathing all over his webcam with ROH posters and WWE action figures all over his bedroom wall. Don't see how seeing what the hosts look like adds anything to the show. Even though I'm positive all of you suave fellas here are a step up from the stereotype
