  1. That is the alcoholic I assumed you meant. "Meltzer will always be a mark when it comes to the biz brother. HH" - @hulkhogan
  2. Dave wasn't positive. He said he was told by a source who said he was 99% positive, but Dave himself wasn't sure. I should say he felt confident/positive enough about it to report it. Not taking shots at Dave. I love Dave. Just that that one sticks out so badly as an example of him getting worked hard - doesn't he still talk to Heyman? Whomever his source was must have been very well-placed for him to not really (seemingly) do much legwork on something that was a huge story at the time.
  3. One question I have that he might not know the answer to is how Meltzer ended up being so positive he was returning to that Raw in Chicago after he quit.
  4. Watching '91 lately and just love the guy. I liked him on the TX set, but even moreso now.
  5. The problem I have with Wade is that he puts too much "thought" into his analysis. As in he comes up with some pretty wacky/neurotic ideas. Most notable being his classic "Cena and Rock are shooting on one another" theory a few years ago. The fact that he is doing a podcast about a podcast is another pretty good example. I know there are people doing them about Serial now, but this is about a shoot interview. I'd expect it to be lots of "see, this is what we have always said!" type of analysis. That all being said, I generally do sub when they run their Mania season special so I can catch up on the historical-themed Bruce shows that I've missed. Wade also does some great interviews on his Livecast.
  6. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but the "Poppin' Dogs and Talkin' Hogs with the Best Friends" series feels like a winner to me. The first two have been fun. Not as awesome as the Kevin Steen Show was, but enjoyable.
  7. Man is Sting awful here. Horsemen are obviously fine. Barry has been pretty great in this period, the badass in shades.
  8. Yeah, I thought the same of them then. Would have looked even worse in current WWE.
  9. I agree. They also should have been putting up all those HHH sitdowns with Cole that were on .com (may still be, haven't really been following), and every other new piece of video that they produce.
  10. Also, he would have looked really dumb in fight shorts, to be honest.
  11. This was fucking great. I get all anti-blood in wrestling (current day, that is) and then I watch a match like this and feel like an idiot.
  12. I prefer this one to the previous one, as well. Embry is one of my top guys that I'm thankful I have gotten to see more of through various projects. He's the kind of wrestler that I love to watch.
  13. Taue's hair is just as stunning as ever here. About all I've got to add, aside from loving TD '91.
  14. Are you not significantly indulged?
  15. It's also possible that since it's a pro wrestler talking, there are parts of the story that are pretty bullshit. Granted, since a lot of the people that listen to it are fans of Punk, it will get accepted as truth. Plus it's not like WWE is going to respond to it, so Punk was first (and only) person to the market with the story.
  16. Good for him getting out of a situation that wasn't working/healthy for him. Beyond that, I can't say that I miss him. Hope his future endeavors work out well, though. Came out of this an even bigger Ryback fan than I already was.
  17. "He was a horse lover." Awesome.

  19. Nailed my exact thoughts, Chad. Have the same feelings about Ziggler and definitely don't understand why I am supposed to be excited by Sting. I loved him in 1997 - like majorly loved him - but this is going to wear off fast. He will get a good reception at Mania, though the smark narrative needs some tightening up. "Push the young guys (unless the old guy is a guy I liked when I was a kid)!" The franchise!!!
  20. I watched football. Glad I did after watching the Sting thing on YouTube. The commentators definitely killed it for me.
