I like him a lot more than Randy Orton, but it's mostly just nostalgia. I was in my early teens during the nWo and loved Scott Hall. When I watch him now, I certainly don't think he's great, nor terrible. And I always enjoy the schtick (aside from "Drunk Scott Hall" - the character, not the actual person whom I hope so much stays straight).

Thanks Chad, I think it was one of the strongest episodes in a long time. Here is a question for everyone, is there any other variations on another group or other variations you would like to hear? How about different options for "the third man" in the nWo?

Can't wait for the podcast!

I believe I sub to 20 or so. I use Downcast and listen on my iPhone. Used to prioritize WOR until I realized I can't stand them anymore (mainly Bryan) and let my WON sub lapse since I really don't give a shit about anything he covers at the moment. The only thing I really listened to at the end of my sub was DKP because I am a Justin Shapiro mark. So I listen to Joe vs the motherfucking World when he does a show, of course. Same for List 'em and Learn. I always listen to the PWO/PTBN shows, though not really the main PTB show all that often since I fell way behind in the past year (I do plan on catching up one of these months - probably over winter). Wrestling Culture, too, of course. As well as the Lapsed Fan podcast. I really don't listen to anything for current wrestling anymore since I have been on a hiatus for a few months and don't feel like I care to hear about what is happening. I also listen to Austin when he has a wrestler on. Also listen to Hardcore History with Dan Carlin, though they are sporadic. I also listen to lots of NFL/Packers shows... If I fall behind, I just delete them since they are so much more time sensitive. Ross Tucker Grantland NFL ESPN Football Today Football Guys (fantasy football) Green & Gold Today/Jason Wilde (Packers) McGinn/Dunne Packers Podcast from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel CBS Fantasy Football Today CBS Eye on Basketball ESPN NBA Lockdown Bucksketball Brew Hoop (Milwaukee Bucks pods) The Lowe Post/NBA After Dark (Grantland NBA) BS Report if it's something I want to hear Jalen & Jacoby if it's NBA Over & Back NBA Podcast (and the other Hardwood Paroxysm shows)

Wrestling Culture Episode 60

This zooms to the top of my list! -
I think he makes decent cash off of it. PodcastOne is owned by Westwood One, I believe.m

I have a major fantasy football addiction that makes virtually every game somewhat relevant to me.
-
My prediction is that I'll watch the Packers game, and maybe watch this on Tuesday night. I'm in the same boat, as far as my interest in WWE being at rock bottom right now. Haven't watched a Raw since Summerslam with no end to that in sight. Not really even sure why... it's just boring and there's football.

After adjusting to the style, I enjoy Lapsed Fan right now. They are going through all the Manias intensely. -
I don't know that he's wrong, either. That 2001 Austin before his neck got fucked up again was really awesome. Total package. Hellacious run, right there.
-
Is he that bad? I find Alvarez more annoying than him.The impression of Todd comes from people reading his Raw reviews. It is a pretty dated impression.Nah. I doubt I have even read more than one or two of them. Why would I care what anyone on that wesbsite not named Dave Meltzer thinks of Raw? It's because he comes across as a complete douche on the shows with Bryan. Like almost as unlistenable as Lance Storm.

I'm living this right this minute as I watch Adam Cole vs Kyle O'Reilly from PWG a few months ago... I loved their "MMA rules" (or whatever they called it) match in ROH two years ago, and I pretty much hated this one. I think now that I probably just loved it for the blood and the crowd. I do still enjoy Cole's schtick, if not always his wrestling, but I detest the fake MMA bullshit of O'Reilly soooo much. They do a big no-sell exchange in the middle of the match with a Frye/Takayama spot (probably my least favorite thing right now) that even the PWG crowd didn't give a shit about. It wasn't even "registering instead of selling." The punches were basically just ignored. Not doing something as basic/common sense as selling getting hit in the face is something that I pretty much can't look past now, unless it's part of a finish.
-
Disappointed to hear that PWG fans were down on that match. They usually take to new guys fairly well. Planning on watching BOLA this weekend.

Moppy was some good shit.

But it involves CAPITAL T~! Todd Martin. Not sure I can do it.

2014 Wrestler of the Year Candidates Guide
Zoo Enthusiast replied to Dylan Waco's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Great read. Didn't see much NJPW this year after burning out on it last year during G1 (thanks to Naito, as mentioned in the piece). The Styles run sounds like it needs to be watched. -

Isn't Sheamus just as much of a HHH guy, though? -
Awesome. Been a drop-off lately.

Jeff Jarrett headlining the Tokyo Dome would have been amazing.
