Not sure if anyone else would be interested but I threw this list together. Joshi has had a pretty good year so I wanted to try and compare them to the matches that happen in NXT. I also wanted to see if I could reasonably stretch the list long enough to include a match from the WWE main roster. Luckily, there's been a couple of really good matches so the list didn't have to get too egregious. 1. Kairi Hojo vs. Meiko Satomura (Stardom, 6/14) 2. Io Shirai vs. Koguma (Stardom, 2/22) 3. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley (NXT, 8/22) 4. Arisa Nakajima vs. Hikaru Shida (JWP, 7/11) 5. Tsukasa Fujimoto/Arisa Nakajima vs. Misaki Ohata/Ryo Mizunami (Ice Ribbon, 12/31) 6. Io Shirai/Mayu Iwatani vs. DASH Chisako/Sendai Sachiko (Stardom, 9/23) 7. Kairi Hojo vs. Mayu Iwatani (Stardom, 5/17) 8. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch (NXT, 5/20) 9. Io Shirai vs. Dark Angel (Stardom, 10/11) 10. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley (NXT, 10/7) 11. Su Yung vs. Madison Eagles (Shine, 10/2) 12. Kairi Hojo vs. Takumi Iroha (Stardom, 7/4) 13. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (NXT, 3/27) 14. Kana/Konami vs. Syuri/Hikaru Shida (Kana Pro, 3/8) 15. Emma vs. Asuka (NXT, 12/16) 16. Io Shirai vs. Mayu Iwatani (Stardom, 8/23) 17. For non-gimmick matches, Tamura went 60 mins vs. Azumi Hyuga in '06. This year there has been two 30 min draws, Kairi Hojo vs. Meiko Satomura in Stardom (6/14) and Mio Shirai vs. Arisa Nakajima in M.I.O. (6/19).

Yoshiko Tamura did a similar deal in NEO. Pretty sure Jd' ran a few iron man matches in the early 00's with The Bloody, Sumie Sakai, Megumi Yabushita, and Fang Suzuki.

If Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin didn't end up the way that they did, I would be high on Gable too. But, at this moment, I'm still wait and see on the guy.

The thing that irked me about it was that it was just those four. At they very least, Paige, Emma, the rest of the active NXT women's roster, and Sara Del Ray should have been up there too. It should have been a moment celebrate what NXT has done for women in wrestling. I'm surprised that people are just upset about the post match stuff breaking kayfabe. Everybody in that building just flat out ignored it from the start of the entrances till about five minutes into the match.

Yeah but she a woman so that's going to lead to a nastier backlash, probably something that they can't play off of.

I don't see Bayley working with an older male audience in the long term. She's fantastic for kids and women but you already see online that some male fans are getting sick of her cutesy stuff. That's just going to get worse on the main roster.

Asuka vs. Dana is the most interesting match on the show. Asuka thrives at working with inexperienced women, usually giving them a fair bit while maintaining that she's clearly better in the end. This is best chance for Dana Brooke to show where she is at in her development. Most likely isn't going to be the stiff, one-sided squash that people are expecting.

This show line-up highlights how NXT isn't really the booking oasis that it might seem like: - They're running Bayley vs. Sasha again because they honestly don't have a better option for a main. The first on-air Balor vs. Joe match was the only other option but that probably being saved for the UK show. Also, I don't see any productive long term reason for Sasha winning. The Brooklyn show should have been her swan song, plus the whole 'respect' bit really doesn't fit 'The Boss'. Never mind that NXT's big gimmick match over the last 2 years has been the 2/3 falls match and would have been easier match for the two of them to work. - The tag tournament should feature the new found depth of the tag division. Instead, the semis feature 2 makeshift teams of top singles stars and both semis are on the show. Thus, your current champs, ex champs, and arguably most over act won't be on the show. - Tyler Breeze should be, at worst, be challenging for the NXT title. Instead, they ran Breeze vs. Balor into the ground earlier this year so now he has to put over the new guy. He has the same problem that a lot of guys have on the main roster, just being paid less.

The messenger matters in letting you know how much you should look into something before you accept it. If someone who works for Korman said the same thing you would do less research to confirm it than CM Punk saying the same thing. Trying to make a charitable donation should not be like trying to buy a vehicle.

Her twitter account is AWESOME!!! Stuff like this is mixed in with misadventures of living in the States (driving, coin-operated washer and dryer.)

It helps if the mechanics find a gimmick that fits his/her personality. If Daniel Bryan kept the same oatmeal persona he had the first year that he was on the main roster he wouldn't have been close to being as over as he eventually became. I assume that they felt that Sasha wasn't quite ready, combined with the recent history of NXT gimmicks on the main roster. Instead, they actually have the most complete package to come out of developmental since Kurt Angle. That is going to force them to push her earlier than they had planned and probably push Charlotte to the side, which might actually help her in the long run. Becky may end up in the mechanic role if they don't find a character for her.

I don't think this would work. You'll just have a macho business donkey wrestler talk about his super karate monkey death car.

The Bellas vs. B.A.D. from Main Event was interesting. Both teams worked heel, but the Bellas had a noticeable face reaction from the women in the crowd. If they keep going with this they'll have 7 heels and 3 faces, with Natalya back. I don't know if this means they'll start cutting down the number of women that they feature or what. I really hope they don't break up B.A.D. since all 3 seem to really enjoy working together and its done a lot for Naomi's in-ring work. Coincidental fun fact: before getting into wrestling, Kana/Asuka was working in the video game industry, both as a designer and a magazine writer. Even had XBox 360 sponsorship for a few years in wrestling.

NXT is basically doing that angle with Dana Brooke and the backstage interview girl.

The most successful feud in the history of women's wrestling was a school bully picking on another girl.

Oh for crying out loud they can't even do a cake spot right... What's on NXT? Sasha: Bayley, I respect you... Me: Really? At least a new Hojo match sneaked online.

Start off with Aja vs. Toyota at the Dome, Kyoko vs. Hokuto at Dream Rush, and Kyoko/Takako vs. Oz/ Cuty matches that gives you good sample of what to expect. Then look through the yearbook section to find stuff that might fit what your personal tastes a bit more then go from there. 90's is the best place to start because it has a clear listing of what out there for stuff to watch, unlike the 80's or even the '00.
