I meant to comment on this earlier but I love the hodgepodge of talent here in PR. I am starting to gain favor with some different talents like the Rock N Rolls and also and it will be fun to see the rise of TNT.

I like the movement of the AWA and how people are falling into place. I look forward to your consistency with this group and how they will build up feuds with one another.

Looking forward to the write up of the Scaffold match. I don't know if we've had a high profile one that I can remember but I am probably wrong. Lots of good tv and the timing for Nikita is right... can't wait to see how high he can go within the NWA.

I really like the Adonis angle playing out and the use of Brody and Sammartino. It is good to see these "specials" in a show and build it up. Interested in that Landell and Benoit match and what that means for the crippler. -

Pretty good write up here. I like the style to keep it simple for everyone and easy to read. Things will begin to come your way over time but this is a good start for sure. -

Look at that card in Richmond... I will say this... I know we did the Horsemen deal and some weren't fond of it... but when I see this card it makes me know that MACW is hot right now and more unpredictable. With the Horsemen you had to follow a specific formula but now you have an open book. Very strong top of the card and some great undercard contests... I like this direction. -

World Class comes in hot and heavy... Eight man cage match makes me think about what the future could hold... I also like the four corners match. I think this is around the time Mid South did one IRL so we could see more of these popping up. Texas is wide open and lots of creativity in the booking makes it a premiere destination right now. -

WWF SNME VIII 5/10/86 Oakland, CA – The Coliseum Ric Flair: In living color as I live and breathe… you never thought you’d see me… Ric Flair the Real World’s Champion right here on NBC! Tito Santana… tonight pal… you walk into the lion’s den with the cream of the crop and brother you better know that I am not going to let you out with all your limbs. I am gonna wear you down like the punk you are and I am going to show the world why I am the NATURE BOY! WOOOOO! Tito Santana: Ric Flair for a man who dresses like he has an education you are certainly not a smart man! You may come up with a rhyme or riddle here and there but in that ring it is more than talent… it is heart. It is my heart that has led me right here to this shot… this opportunity and brother don’t think I will let it go to waste. I am going to come with everything I have got Ric Flair and I will not walk away empty handed! Mr. Fuji: Tonight my Demolition look to get back in the hunt of the Tag Team Titles. No better way to get to the hunt than to put down the dogs in our way! Ax: Davey Boy… Dynamite… tonight you better not let your bark outdo your bite! Smash: And I hope they got doggy dentures because we’re going to kick your teeth down your throat! Davey Boy: I guess they have said it all Dynamite… funny thing is that we don’t worry about the words! Dynamite: That’s right… it is all about the action and tonight we are coming out of Saturday Night’s Main Event winners and the next contenders for the Tag Team Championship! Hulk Hogan: I can’t help but feel a little different here tonight. I feel like something has been taken from me. Like I’ve been robbed. Well Ric Flair… I want you to know that I am going to be keeping an extra close eye on your match with Tito Santana… I am going to make sure that what happens when I wrestled you doesn’t happen to him. As for the Super Invader II… mystery surrounds you but know this… I don’t care how big you are… or how bad you are… when you’re in there with the biggest arms in the world and the millions of Hulkamaniacs what are you going to do!?! Vince: Welcome everyone to Oakland California and the Coliseum here for Saturday Night’s Main Event! Jesse Ventura we are here for the 9th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and I think we have got one of the biggest cards in the history of the program! Jesse: That’s right McMahon and let me be the first to say right here on NBC that I loved seeing Hulk Hogan withOUT that WWF Championship! Vince: Certainly some controversy surrounding Ric Flair and his winning of the WWF Championship. He will be facing off against Tito Santana tonight. Jesse: And if you ask me… Chico is in over his head. What makes him the number one contender? What makes him think that he could beat the REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION? Vince: The Championship committee thought so Jesse… as did President Jack Tunney… plus tonight Demolition and the Bulldogs square off… Jesse: Many are considering this a number one contenders match for the tag titles. I think either of these guys would make great opponents for the Hart Foundation but personally… I’d like to see Demolition back with the titles! Vince: And of course tonight we will see the 15-man over the top battle royal… the winner getting the number one seed and a first round bye in the television title tournament. Jesse: I was going to be the 16th man McMahon but I decided to stay retired for the time being. Everyone knows I am the best when the lights are on for television. Vince: HA! We’ll see about that… fans lets head to the ring for Hulk Hogan! Hulk Hogan vs Super Invader II -The return of Hulkamania to SNME and he looks naked without the WWF Championship. The crowd still loves him but his immortality may have been tarnished thanks to the Horsemen. Invader II is a mystery but he is said to be from the Orient and he is JACKED. We see Hogan and Invader go through the formula for 8-minutes and it is well worth it to see the Hulkster come back from the monstrous beatdown only to prevail with a couple of big right hands… a big boot… and then a body slam followed by a leg drop for the 3-count! He is still able to pose and work the fans into a frenzy just without that hint of gold! -We cut to Ric Flair and Gene Okerlund who are putting over his match with Tito Santana. Flair puts it as simple as can be. To be the man, you have to beat he man, and Ric Flair is the man. He beat Hulk Hogan. He is the WWF Champion. He is going to rule the WWF and run Hulk Hogan out of Wrestling! He says tonight he is going to do it to Tito Santana and send him packing first class and says that the Horsemen are right there when they need to be called upon! *COMMERCIAL* SNME is back with Hulk Hogan joining Mean Gene Okerlund. They are putting over the victory over the One Man Gang while Hogan is saying that he is going to pay CLOSE attention to the screen tonight and back up his brother Tito against those Horsemen! He puts over Santana as a contender and says he is just the right kind of man who can beat Flair but he doesn’t know if he can beat the Horsemen! Gene puts over how dangerous they are collectively but wonders if it will ever be a fair fight one on one! Hogan says he would love to get his chance at Flair and knows that Bobby Heenan is behind the contract stating there would be no rematch! He says he will fight everyone in the WWF to get his hands back on Flair and the WWF title and it doesn’t matter who is in his way that title is HIS! WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Tito Santana vs Ric Flair © w/ Bobby Heenan & Angel -Angel making her debut on NBC here tonight and man does she look stunning. One of the premiere women in the sport if utilized correctly. This is a very interesting WWF match for the time. These guys get 25-minutes with a commercial break to tell a fun story. It starts with Flair trying to dog Santana who takes none of it and comes back with some huge chops and shots that send Flair reeling. Flair then gets some heat over a chop block over for Tito to turn the tables and begin to work on Flair’s knee. Heenan proves his worth enough to get a distraction for Flair to get control again for a couple of minutes to work on the knee before Tito finally makes a big comeback. He hammers and chops away at Flair before setting him over for the figure-four and Flair is reeling now. He is screaming in pain but he manages to get to the ropes. Tito can’t believe it as he picks Flair up and hammers away and then goes for the flying forearm and nails him! Tito says he is going to for the leg lock again and tries to lock it but Angel gets on the apron as a distraction… the referee puts her down before Tito goes for another figure-four but Flair rolls him up with a small package and gets the 1…..2…..3!! Flair rolls out of the ring and Santana can’t believe it! Flair has won it and the crowd is shocked. Flair holds the title high in the air as Heenan is weeping. The Horsemen get one here tonight and Flair gets his first major television victory while holding on to that World Title! *COMMERCIAL* -SNME is back with Bravo and the Bulldogs with Gene. They put over the big six-man match and talk about having Andre on their minds. These three are world renowned athletes who will show Demolition and Sika a thing or two tonight and why there is more to these dogs than a bark… but a nasty bite! The British Bulldogs vs Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -This is one we’ve been waiting for and it definitely delivers as the Dogs and Demo go toe to toe and get the crowd going. All four men show off their abilities and the Dogs are doing everything they can to match the power of Demo but come up short. The Dogs then turn it round and speed things up and Demo can’t keep up. This one gets to the 12-minute mark before Mr. Fuji tries to get involved but instead this battle flows onto the floor. All four men are beating the piss out of each other as the referee calls for the bell and it is a double count out! Jesse and Vince are wondering just who the number one contenders for the tag titles are now?!?! *COMERCIAL* -SNME is back with Jesse and Vince putting over the tag title situation and HOPEFULLY we will find out more on Prime Time this week. They put over the TV title and how these 15-guys could wrestle for the Heavyweight Title but the TV is to prove who is the best week in and week out on television! A reminder that the winner of this contest will get a first round bye in the tournament. The rest of the bracket will be released on Prime Time this week… let’s go to the ring that is already starting to fill up! 15-MAN BATTLE ROYAL! Winner gets a first round bye in the Television Title Tournament! Featuring: Curt Hennig, Wahoo McDaniel, Billy Jack Haynes, Dino Bravo, Sting, Tonga Kid, Bull Ganter, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Honky Tonk Man, Greg Valentine, Don Muraco, Sika, Bad News Brown, & One Man Gang -Just star power galore here with some big time names and really everyone has a shot in this tournament. We see some sides form with the Horsemen, Honky/Valentine and others. Then we have the wild man Sika who just goes crazy and starts throwing bombs at everyone including Muraco! Wahoo McDaniel makes his presence known by going toe to toe with Sika before nailing him in the back of the head with a huge chop and Sika goes out but everyone got a taste of him. Wahoo doesn’t get too much of a break though as Arn and Tully come from behind and eliminate him! 2 down already and there goes a third on the other side of the ring with Tonga Kid getting tossed by the Gang! Billy Jack is the next opponent tossed by the Horsemen but he puts up a big fight. We then see Sting come out of nowhere with a big clothesline and Honky Tonk goes flying but Valentine comes from behind and tosses Sting. The ring begins to clear with Hennig, Bravo, Bull, The Horsemen, Valentine, Muraco, Bad News, and Gang. Bad News then goes into business for himself and throws some stiff shots everywhere before Hennig comes with a huge dropkick sending him out of the ring. Bravo stands his ground against Greg Valentine and Muraco but Bravo over the shoulder dumps the Rock and then Valentine but the Horsemen come from behind and toss him. Hennig, Bull, Gang, & The Horsemen are left and we see the numbers game come into play with the Horsemen as they double up on Hennig and get him close. Bull and Gang throw some huge bombs and somewhere these two have to settle their issue. Gang runs for a big clothesline but it is Bull who drops the rope down and Gang is out! On the other side of the ring Arn and Tully eliminate Hennig but Ganter runs like a Bull and double clotheslines both men over the top to the floor! Bull Ganter has won it and receives a first round bye! The crowd is going good here for the Bull who has got a huge opportunity now! We’ll find out the bracket on Prime time Monday… when we come back Ric Flair will be here! *COMMERCIAL* Prime Time is back with Mean Gene and Ric Flair…. Angel and Sherri are right there with him... Mean Gene: Ric Flair… many say the way you got the WWF title was deplorable… despicable… and down right dirty! Ric Flair: Watch it there cue ball… lemme tell you and all the people out here on National Television something right now… everyone can question about this title and how it came to be around my waist but pal… no one knows the answer how to get it away from me. Tonight you saw Tito Santana give a valiant effort but it wasn’t good enough. Santana… you may have earned another chance at the title but pal… you… like all the others just doesn’t have what it take! Mean Gene: Ric Flair… everyone wants to know what you plan to do with Hulk Hogan and his journey to get the WWF title back… Ric Flair: Lemme tell you something little man… Hulk Hogan can wrestle me seven days a week and twice on Sunday. I can take him to the limit every single night and make him whimper at my knees to stop. Hulk Hogan… while you are flying back and forth to Japan… I am here winning world titles and beating the best in the world. If you think for one moment I won’t come to Japan and beat you pal… think again… but know this Hogan and all those Hulkamaniacs of yours… you may beat me in that ring… but you will never beat me for this title! This right here says I am THE MAN! I am the top professional athlete in the world and no one can stop me. Mean Gene: I don’t know if I can agree with you there…. He is going to earn a title shot… Ric Flair: Don’t even try to play me Gene… like I said… Hogan can step into the ring with me but he will never earn a chance at this title. I am going to dog him all over the country and show the world why Ric Flair is number one and Hulk Hogan is DONE! -We cut back to Vince and Jesse who put this night over in a big way before pumping up Prime Time this week and the release of the brackets for the tv title tournament!!!

What a loaded show in Greensboro... just awesome lineup. I like the Johnson vs Ted matchup. I don't think Atlas was used correctly in 1986 in the WWF so to see him used the right way here is great. I also like the MXE here... perhaps them and the Road Warriors down the line but there are so many challengers for each it makes for a ton of interesting matchups. -

I like how this reflects some early 80s NWA with a Mid South angle heading to Georgia type deal with Duggan and Dibiase. Two hot names to headline the revamped NWA. I still think you've got some names off that card that could make it better. Looking forward to how the NWA and MACW evolves over the summer. -

WWF Presents: Prime Time Wrestling 5/5 Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from: Phoenix, AZ – Veterans Memorial Auditorium Prime Time opens this week with Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura putting over the announcements of Jack Tunney this week. Jesse says he already knows what he’s going to say but he won’t spoil it for Monsoon. They also talk about SNME this weekend and the big return of Hulk Hogan but also the first WWF title defense of Ric Flair as he goes up against Tito Santana! We learn that the Horsemen will be here tonight and we will surely have some sparks fly because Tito Santana and Wahoo McDaniel are here as well! We head to the ring for our opening contest! SD Jones & Jim Powers vs Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji -A great little opener in terms of putting Demolition over the top as perhaps the biggest and baddest tag team in wrestling but some mutters of the Russians kind of spark some interest. Fuji and Demolition take on the Bulldogs this weekend at SNME but tonight is a good tune up and it is all over but the crying when SD Jones gets hit with the Decapitation Device! -We cut back to the booth where we see The British Bulldogs cutting a promo on Demolition. They put over SNME and say that they know the winners will be in line for a tag title shot and they hope to be the ones to get the chance at the gold but know they can’t look past Demolition! *COMMERCIAL* -We return to Prime Time and here comes Jack Tunney. He joins Gorilla and Jesse and they hammer through some of the tough topics in the WWF right now. Tunney then goes on to make the following announcements… Jack Tunney: In regards to Hulk Hogan and his challenge of the contract with Ric Flair. I have had my lawyers look through the contract thoroughly and look at any and all circumstances. In every case we found that the contract is true and lawful. It clearly states that with a match of this magnitude it can only happen once. There would be no rematch for the WWF Championship. That is the special factor. Hulk Hogan can challenge Ric Flair in a match up… but Ric Flair has the full right to deny the championship stipulation for each contest. -A chorus of BOOS explode throughout the arena. Jack Tunney: I understand the concerns that you fans have but that is the contract and it will be followed. Now, on to the next order of business. I would like to show you all the newest title to be added to the WWF… this is the WWF Television Championship! Jack Tunney: This title was created to be showcased on shows like Wrestling Challenge, Supersters, and right here on Prime Time. There will be a special 15-man tournament that will start in two weeks. It will be a single elimination tournament. The pairings will be drawn at random…. But there will be one man who gets a bye in the first round. That man will be the one who wins the special 15-man battle royal this weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event! The participants are: Curt Hennig, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Wahoo McDaniel, Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, Don Muraco, Sika, One Man Gang, Bad News Brown, Billy Jack Haynes, Sting, Dino Bravo, Tonga Kid, and Bull Ganter! Jack Tunney: These 15 individuals will take part in this special battle royal and the winner will get a first round bye. The individual pairings will also be announced right here next week on Prime Time. Please tune in this Saturday Night for SNME. Thank you! -A lot of boos fill the air for Jack Tunney who walks off but damn is he getting some heat for that Hulk Hogan announcement. The fans are really letting him have it as Gorilla and Jesse put over the announcement and say we will hear from Tito Santana when we come back! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back and Tito Santana is here with Wahoo McDaniel. They put over their issues with the Horsemen and how they play the system. Ric Flair is ducking and dodging Hulk Hogan but Tito is going to make him pay for it this weekend. He knows that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and he is going to fulfill it. Wahoo McDaniel talks about training with Ric Flair and knowing everything he can and cannot do in that ring. He puts over how he is going to be right there to help Tito with the Horsemen and he knows that by hook or by crook there will be a winner the right way! Jesse and Gorilla put it over and then our next contest... The Tonga Kid vs Bad News Brown -Another really fun match tonight with Prime Time continuing to roll. Bad News and Tonga both get into the TV title tournament this weekend but tonight they get a primer. Tonga Kid flies all over the ring to get some offense going and it works. Bad News turns the tables and gets some heat but then Tonga fires back and comes with some fists of fire and then he looks to finish as he goes up top for a flying cross body but Bad News catches him and SLAMS him down hard on the mat! The crowd gasps and Bad News gets the 3-count out of nowhere. This guy is dangerous and Jesse and Gorilla put him over as perhaps the unsung favorite of the tournament and he’s able to turn the lights out that quick! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time returns with Gorilla and Jesse putting over SNME this weekend. They talk about Hulk Hogan taking on the Super Invader II. Jesse says that it may end up being him underneath the mask of this huge masked man but Gorilla says he would have stunt men doing that kind of work for him now. Jesse resents his remarks. They talk about Demo vs the Bulldogs and the big title match with Flair and Tito. They talk about the 15-man battle royal and what is at stake for the winner. They turn their attention to another big match here tonight with Shawn Michaels and Paul Roma! Shawn Michaels w/ Marty Jannetty vs Paul Roma w/ Jimmy Hart & Hercules -A pretty good contest here with Michaels putting on some good stuff but Roma isn’t quite there as a singles. He and Shawn go about 8-minutes but it ends up as sloppy mess with a double DQ finish. We see Hercules get involved with leads to Marty Jannetty. All four men jump into the mix and we get pure chaos as Jimmy Hart is in awe of what is going on here! *COMMERCIAL* -Prime Time is back for the final segment and out come the Horsemen, Heenan, and the ladies Angel and Sherri. They run up and down about all things Horsemen and put everyone in their place. Here are some highlights… Bobby Heenan: What a whirlwind couple of weeks it has been and it has been the best of my life! I have got the Horsemen, I have got the women, I have got the World Title and I have got the IC Title… soon we’ll have the television championship and the World Tag Team Championship! Things can only continue to go up from here… but for some of you… they will go down. Hulk Hogan… you heard Jack Tunney say it loud and proud that you are finished with the World Title. Never again will you get the chance to get your hands on this title and Hogan nothing makes me happier! For those of us who saw the event, everyone knows that Ric Flair put you down 1...2...3 and it was that simple and that easy! Now… we move on. Tito Santana… you pal are going to get what is coming to you. You wanna come out here with the Big Chief and think it is something special… we don’t flinch for such chicanery. We are going to continue to come at you and put you down and out of this sport. Randy Savage… listen up closely… you and Barry Windham have had battles all over this country but the war…. The war is almost over. We have worn you down but soon we drop the bomb… the bomb that will put you so far down you can’t get up. We are going to put the finishing touches on you Savage and there will be nothing left! Arn Anderson: As Bobby Heenan put it so eloquently, the time for talking about it has come and passed and now is the time to be doing it. We are setting our minds right now on the prize and for Tully Blanchard and myself it is that Television Championship. That title means that week in and week out you come out here on television and beat the best… well right here right now you are looking at the best and that belt will be around one of our waists before too long and there will be a path of bodies all the way to that prize! Tully Blanchard: That’s right Double A. Everyone is talking about what would happen if we met in the middle of that ring and brother, I think you and I both know that it would be the war of all wars. One man would win and the other would lose but when it all came to an end there would be a title in the camp of the Horsemen and that is the most important thing. Now… for you 13 other wanna be champions out there. At SNME it is going to be every man for himself… but these Horsemen are going to stick together. We don’t care how big you are or how dangerous you are… come Saturday only one man will survive and that will be a Horseman! Barry Windham: I love it man… a couple of months ago I was looking around at a group of men who were out for themselves but now I look at a group of men who have a singular purpose and that is the betterment of each individual. I can say without question that I am approaching the prime of my career and 1986 will be a banner year for Barry Windham as the Intercontinental Champion. I have fought Randy Savage all over this country but Savage, I am getting tired of wearing you out and it is time to put you down and put that old lady of yours down as well if you catch my drift. All over this country people compare the two of us as two of the best to lace up the boots but Savage… I won your crown… and I won your title… I guess that makes me the better wrestler and if I get my hands on Elizabeth she will see that I am the better man too! Understand this above all else Savage… when we’re done with you…. It will be as though you never existed and the history books will be wiped clean of any resemblance of Randy Savage! Ric Flair: My oh my look what we’ve got here. WOOO! (Twirls the women). You are talking about the two finest women in the world right here with the Horsemen. You are talking about Bobby Heenan...the smartest man in this business. You’ve got Tully and Double A… the best tag team that money can buy and of course the King of the Ring Barry Windham. To cap it all off… you’ve got the UNDISPUTED REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION… Ric Flair. You look at that list and you know it can’t be touched and it can’t be combatted but here we go with Hulk Hogan… Randy Savage… Tito Santana… and now you wanna add Wahoo McDaniel to that list. HA! Wahoo… you climbed up the wrong tree pal! The Horsemen have a focus and that is to keep this title right here around my waist and if you think for a second you can come in here outta nowhere and try me… ha… pal you better think again. I am sick and tired of hearing about Tito Santana… Chico… this Saturday you are going to get the beating of your life in front of a National Television Audience and there is not a thing you can do about it… plus… I am going to style and profile all over NBC when I am doing it. Tito, I know you can work pal but can you work for 60-minutes because that’s what it takes to beat me. That’s what it is going to take to go the limit with Ric Flair and I just don’t think you’ve got it pal! Now… onto the biggest turkey of them all… Hulk Hogan! (Pulls out a handkerchief) Here you go Hulkster… this is for you and the millions of those pukeamaniacs out there who have been whining and crying since you heard what Jack Tunney said. I told you before Hogan that I was going to come in and win this title and that’s exactly what I did. I came in and shocked the world… but it didn’t shock me or any of the Horsemen… you see we knew we could beat you and pal we did it and we did it in the biggest way possible… I only wish there was footage of the 1….2….3 so I could replay it over and over! But know this Hogan… I do play it over and over in my head… I play it through when I go to bed and when I wake up because I AM THE MAN! I am the man who put you down and took your title and now… now Hulk Hogan you are the one who has to try and find a way to get it back but the problem is that there isn’t one! There is no way for you Hogan and you better just give up… give up now because if you don’t I am going to dog you Hogan. I am going to drive you out of wrestling and pal… not even Hollywood would touch you when I am done with you. So let me leave it right here… Hogan… McDaniel… Santana… you’ll all be there on Saturday Night… watch Saturday Night’s Main Event and see the Real World’s Champion Ric Flair defend his WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and show the world why being a Horsemen is not for everyone… just the best…. WOOO! -Jesse and Gorilla put it over as the Horsemen speak some strong words but have got a big weekend coming up. Will one of them walk out with a round one bye in the tournament? Will Flair be able to handle Tito Santana? Will Hogan get his hands on Flair? All that and more this weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event! WWF Presents: Wrestling Challenge Hosted By: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby the Brain Heenan Matches from: St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Featuring: Wahoo McDaniel & Tito Santana, The Bulldogs, Dino Bravo, Bad News Brown, & Sting -We also get hype that Hulk Hogan will deliver his first words since losing the WWF title tomorrow on Superstars! -Jack Tunney will be on Prime Time this week with a huge announcement! MAIN EVENT The Rockers vs Power & Glory w/ Jimmy Hart -A pretty hot match here with these four guys leaving it in the ring and don’t forget about Jimmy Hart doing some great work outside the ring. He is pumping up his men in a big way and seems to have a great rapport with these guys from the onset. Michaels and Jannetty really have a lot of speed behind their moves and bring some great spots to the action but it is the influence of Jimmy Hart that tells the tale. The Rockers go up top for a double fist drop but it is Jimmy Hart grabs the ropes and Marty comes crashing down and nuts himself. Shawn jumps off the ropes and makes chase for Jimmy but this sets up Hercules for a SUPERPLEX and then Roma for a SPLASH and the 1….2…..3!! Hart isn’t there to celebrate this big win for his team but Power and Glory look like a force here in the WWF! Hulk Hogan: You know I had a hard time getting up and looking at myself in the mirror after what happened two weeks ago in Boston. I had to jump right on a plane and head back to Japan for another big match and brother my stomach hurt the entire trip. I will admit that I couldn’t even do my best for all my Japanese Hulkamaniacs over there. Then I got back to the state dude and I sat down and talked to a person I never thought I would call a friend. This guy told me what happened. He told me about Bobby Heenan and brother I became filled with a rage and a madness I have never been filled with before. You know something Ric Flair… you may have tried to trick me with this special contract. Yeah brother… my lawyers and I read it. It states that with a match of this magnitude it can only happen this one time and there can be no rematch. Well brother… if it takes the big guy in the sky himself to come down and count the 1...2...3 I am going to get my hands on you… the weasel… the Horsemen… and my WWF TITLE AND WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE THUNDER AND LIGHTING OF HULKAMANIA CRASHES DOWN ON YOU!!!!?!?!!! MAIN EVENT WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Hart Foundation © vs Greg Valentine & The Honky Tonk man w/ Jimmy Hart -Second big contest for Jimmy Hart this weekend and what a contest it is. These four have had some problems for quite some time and now it comes to fruition here on Superstars of Wrestling. This one gets some time and goes about 12-minutes. We see Honky and Valentine work pretty well together and they isolate the Hitman to work him over. We see the formulaic hot tag to the Anvil who comes in like a house of fire and he is rocking all over the ring. He is tossing Valentine and Honky all over the place and he is looking to finish but out of nowhere Valentine with a low blow block and Anvil goes down. It looks like The Hammer and Honky will get the best of the Harts here but out of the back run the Rockers! Shawn and Marty grab Jimmy Hart in the aisleway. This distracts the Hammer who turns around and Bret Hart with a dropkick right to his mush! He flies out of the ring. Bret turns around and Honky runs for a clothesline but Bret ducks… Honky turns and the Anvil grabs him and hoists him up while the Hitman hit the ropes and HART ATTACK! 1….2…..3!!! The Harts win it and the crowd pops. Valentine and Jimmy are irate outside of the ring while Honky is on wobbly legs! I am very interested to see how things she out from the tournament and my oh my the NWA is really cooking right now. Without a doubt, Nikita is in line to be THEE man in the NWA and I am hoping to see it come to fruition sooner than later. I also echo the movement of the Warrior... in 86 he was getting beat up by Phil Hickerson but he isn't far from being a big star.

American Flag as a foreign weapon... LOVE IT I also love the Adonis weigh gimmick. Now I like this idea of Les Duc getting a push but at 17-minutes it is hard to see him being upset. That time seems a little long for me... but just an opinion. -
I like the team of Steamboat and Garvin too... some fun dynamics there... plus Saito and Bock are underrated as well. Piper and Roberts at this point would be quite the entertaining event.

What a second night... so many surprises... and I will go on record that I am not the biggest on the Japanese contingent doing so well... no offense to Gordi but it just surprises me in a big way. Also while I am on record... Martel could might lose the NWA title to Gordi in the shape he is. Great stuff to keep me hooked! -

My bracket is shot... but what an awesome first round. Great stuff man... very creative on the finishes which can be very difficult! -
Well Slick got the Russians... Hart got Power and Glory. It was a confusing turn of events but hopefully good for all involved.
