I don't dislike Arn Anderson, I think he's pretty good and he does have an outside shot at making my 100. However, I've just never seen him in a really excellent match that didn't have at least 7 other people in it. There's lots of Arn stuff that's considered great that I didn't much care for, such as the matches w/Ole vs Rock Roll Express or w/Barry Windham vs Doom from Starrcade '90.

My prediction is nobody makes every single ballot. And I can tell you this for sure, Arn Anderson is very unlikely to make every ballot

For me the best match where nobody in it is going to make my 100 would be Midnight Express vs Tracy Smothers and Steve Armstrong from the Great American Bash 1990. Although that version of the Midnights will be on my tag list.

I would say the re-watch one is more valid, most wrestling matches are obviously going to be more fun live and you're going to rate the matches better than on tape, but because you watch most stuff on tape that is what your scale is geared towards, if you could see every match you've ever seen on tape live you probably wouldn't be giving the match ****1/2

I think it's more like Bryan Alvarez employs Meltzer than the other way around.

Well then you've missed the best part of his career; he was so awesome in 2011.

That's why the relatively short Bryan match was a downright miracle. Although I remember really liking that match I didn't remember it being short at all. Looked it up it went 25:58 and was the longest match on the show.

I think it's largely because they were worked like Triple H matches and not like Brock Lesnar matches. They were these 25 minute epics with all the extended selling between every move and Brock didn't work well in that environment at all and it made him look like he wasn't special due to the back and forth nature of the matches. It felt a lot like HHH was gonna work his normal main event match no matter what.

He's making my list. He's had such an unbelievably great run these past 3 years and was pretty damn good in his first run too; I know he's not around much but I feel it's weird to punish a guy too much for not being on TV all time, negotiating a favorable deal for yourself doesn't mean you aren't a great wrestler. ​Also is the shittyness of the HHH matches an enormous indictment of Triple H's case for this project? That's just something I've been thinking about because I'm much higher on HHH than most people here, but when you compare Brock's work with HHH to Brock's work with literally everyone else it really makes HHH look terrible.

While I'm not gonna say ladder matches are the worst every time, the average cage match is much better that the average ladder match. And the WWE's clusterf**k ladder matches with 8 people only serve to hurt the case for ladder matches But the question is, which category does the Dixieland match go into?

He was in an awesome tornado tag w/Alex Riley vs The Miz and Jack Swagger around that time, not sure if was before or after the Cena match though.
