How is that a squash match? If a commentator at one point in the match says that the person who ultimately won showed 'great resiliency' there's no way it's a squash

Wright gives Tiger basically nothing in the match, dominates the whole thing, kills the Tiger Mask aura by outshining Tiger, doing cartwheels and shit to get out of holds and even gets out of the way on the outside so Tiger can't do a dive

Gotta give these guys enormous props for finishing a fall with a side headlock and making it seem like a believable and dramatic finish. Also, this is almost definitely the best Buddy Rose singles match i've seen

I wouldn't give a shit if it was just medical facility instead of hospital but because there's dozens of this little things that everyone has to say characters in WWE end up coming across as weird and unnatural.

The way they clearly have to use a nickname every time someone is mentioned when they first come up with a nickname now and calling Hogan 'Hulkster' is not the same thing. The problem with this stuff is that it makes the way people speak seem very unnatural. Saying the full name of the PPV every time is bizarre especially if it's got a name like 'Fastlane: End of the Line'. Calling the crowd 'The Universe' even in the context of wrestlers brawling into the crowd. Not using the word belt no matter what, Jinder Mahal stole the belt from Randy Orton and a commentator told us that Orton is the champion but Mahal 'has the title'. That makes no sense 'This past week' instead of ever saying last Monday or last Tuesday. 'Medical facility' instead of hospital. You can never say US champion it's United States champion every time. Everybody having to say things in a particular way makes it obvious that everything is a script and not feel real.

Ok i've never seen the match so what is this? you almost make it sound like these guys just showed up after the finish to do this crazy stunt and honestly I sorta hope that's the case.

I firmly believe that wrestlers and fighters have roughly the same goals when it comes to the categories they're voted on together: best on interviews, biggest draw, most charismatic. There are separate awards for Fighter/Wrestler of the year, most outstanding and best match because when they step into the ring/cage they have totally different jobs. The job they have outside of that are largely very similar.

Is there ever a pin or submission in the 4th or 5th minute of round in world of sport match? Does this bother anyone else? Can the wrestlers not be trusted to keep track of time so 90% of the falls must come in first 90 seconds of a round?

Who in lucha should have won MOTY/WOTY/Most Oustanding Wrestler but didn't? lots of people would say Atlantis vs. Ultimo Guerrero as the 2014 MOTY. You could argue for Mistico as wrestler of the year in 2005 or 2007. Maybe Hijo Del Santo in 1997. Negro Casas for most outstanding in 1992.

c'mon this is ridiculous all grimmas is saying is that you're wrong to think they'd cover up Hero's body because the company has changed its position on stuff like that. I haven't got a dog in this fight, I'm not really on Grimmas' side i guess they probably wouldn't make him wear a singlet or whatever but i wouldn't be too surprised if they did or if they asked him to lose some of the weight.
