  1. Duggan and Earthquake are going to rumble before the actual royal rumble Another fun thing about the rumble is the surprise entries. Can't wait to see who shows up The 1991 Nasty Boys are young and crazy. Gotta love it I think Bruti is not only looking at the crown but is looking to chop some hair off Lawler Big win for Zenk and looks like more trouble brewing with the Outlaws Damn, Herc and Warlord together! That is sensational power for sure Hahaha, I could totally see Andre's irritated face and Jesse backing off immediately New arrival Tatanka and old vet Sheik get nice showcases Slick assists OMG in defeating the Superfly. Solid TV main event Great job in hyping the Rumble. It's going to be a big one
  2. Big news as the USWA heads into Texas. Of course, Kevin's the perfect man to run the Texas operations. Savage gets his trophy and shine but the Universal Heartthrob spoils the party. We've got a main event set darling. With your stacked roster and joining forces with Texas, venturing into pay per view is the thing to do The Battle Royals are a great booking idea. Kicks off the year with new contenders WOW! JJ and Luger together! Can't wait for this 91 will be another wild year for the Lawler/First Family feud. Adding Rich into this mix escalates things to another level. The Can Ams came to the right place for tag team competition Always loved the Hart/Muta combination. Hart will work wonders with Muta in Texas. Well, I'll give the Magnificent one credit for getting his name out there. Not sure he was expecting that response from Austin More surprises as Sullivan joins forces with Cactus Jack and Vader. Talk about a trio of destruction. Watch out! Steiner definitely has plenty of intimidating heels to work with Moondogs are crazy enough to go toe to toe with the Road Warriors Great seeing Mascaras back in the game. I'm sure the Texas fans got a thrill. Wallstreet once again finds a way to leave with the title. Show ends on a high note with the Road Warriors. Judging by the fans reaction, these guys will be top money. You started 91 with a bang brother!
  3. Welcome back! Watts really knows how to get things moving. Kicking things off with a battle royal. Loved the drama with Sharpe injuring Tenryu before their match for the title. Pourteau brings the scientific wrestling credibility and shines Brett and Lenny get a nice tag team win but Bruce didn't think much of it I will definitely tune in next week just to see Vampire Warrior. Bedlam comes in with a brutal win. He's got some buzz going Looks like the GWF has started its first feud with Stetson and Demon Watts has the title and brings in the Big Cat as special enforcer. The GWF is ready to crown a champ. Tenryu overcomes all the odds and takes down Iron Mike to win the title! Bruce and Craig did a good job calling all the action along with some fun banter Abby will definitely attract fans to their first house show. The GWF is off and running. I hope it sticks around. I'm rooting for you
  4. Battle Royals are hard to write but man you nailed it. Nikita and Hall earned their byes. Was a big fan of Pretty Wonderful so it's great seeing this team appear in our game. I can say this, Michales will be very busy and probably wont be able to return Marty's calls The mystery of Bad Street continues The brackets are set and a new US champ will be crowned soon
  5. Chaz gets the win over the mysterious El Toro Armando retains. Hmmmmm, I wonder why Madril looked so worn out Dream and Gibert earn their shot Damn! Rough night for Olympia 2. It appears Miller's reasons are valid in his head. I hope we all find out what those reasons are Whatley has had quite the career in our world. It's cool still seeing him involved in meaningful programs. I expected nothing but chaos between Memphis and Texas. WOW! The main event was swerve city! I couldn't even predict where this was going and I love that! Everybody is choosing sides and things are going to get nuts! Oh yea, we also have a new champ with Embry. His promos alone will be gold. Great stuff!
  6. Since his rebranding, Ultimo is quickly approaching a LHW title shot I can see more bangers ahead between the Sons and FBI Hmmmm has Fit found an ally What a way to introduce Scotty and Richards. It all clicked. Right time, right place. Man this makes total sense. Very creative thinking I would say Awesome is tuned up and ready for Sarge Midnights win a battle but this war is far from over Sabu loses it but be careful messing with the Bully Portland Stormfront prove that their methods work The Hexagon have a stable full of young go getters ready to make their mark The Man of Means buys another ace but watch out when a healthy Gordy comes back with Williams Damn, can anybody stop Kawada Busick bounces back with the Spinebuster Slam Even though he lost the CA title, Condrey is still having the run of his career as he takes the champ to the limit Eugene Yep, Finlay's got some back up now Guido's fights but Scorpio's too much to handle Coast to Coast shows Fastball experience is a factor Adams keeps his streak going Another action packed LHW tag match to keep the fans on the edge of their seats Well, Snow's methods didn't work against Douglas
  7. AWA SuperClash Fallout and News Controversy and Chaos surround the AWA World Title Chaos would be an understatement to describe the AWA current affairs. Needless to say, after the shenanigans that went down during the SuperClash world title bout between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, a protest was filed by Hulk Hogan. Not only that but an immediate investigation began on AWA C.O.O. Gerry Morrow. Sources say that a large amount of money was wired to Morrow's personal account just minutes before the match ended. Sources also say that the money was traced back to the accountant who also happens to manage all four members of the 4 Horsemen. At this time Gerry Morrow has been suspended and terminated as AWA C.O.O. Morrow has declined to comment and has hired a lawyer. There were no comments made by any of the 4 Horsemen regarding the alleged pay off. The decision has been made to hold the AWA world title up until further notice. Ric Flair was outraged by this and literally stormed out of the AWA offices. Hulk Hogan was disappointed but took it in stride. Plans for the world title are unknown at this point but a rumor is circulating that a tournament will take place at some point to crown a new world champion. AWA owner Verne Gagne has been in a state of shock and disbelief all week but did manage to comment that the AWA will be hiring a commissioner in the upcoming days. Other AWA News Both Kerry Von Erich and The Magnificent Muraco were released from the hospital this week. Apparently, Shawn Michales was contacted by Tully Blanchard prior to SuperClash. It seems that Michaels attack on Von Erich and Blanchard's vicious attack on Muraco with a chair along with the alleged Morrow pay off all tie in together. The Horsemen are looking to put an end to all their enemies and threats. AWA Roll Call of Champions 1-9-91 AWA World Title-Vacant AWA World Tag Team Champs- Ron Garvin and Dick Slater AWA International Champ- Stan Hansen AWA National Tag Team Champs- The Heavenly Bodies AWA TV Champ- Gama Singh AWA 6-Man Champs- Gary Young/JW Storm/Ricky Santana International Champ Stan Hansen will be defending his title in Mexico and Puerto Rico in the upcoming weeks. Along with the new year comes new talents. Here were some vignettes shown on TV. We see a rambunctious group circled around a table watching an arm wrestling match. They yell and cheer when a powerhouse of a man slams the other guy's arm hard on the table. As the powerhouse holds up his arms and yells, Ted Arcidi walks into the frame Arcidi: Get ready because Scott 'Flash' Norton is coming and he's coming to crack skulls, mangle bodies and break arms! The camera goes back to the table as Norton slams another man's arm down. We see two men dancing with many women at a Salsa Club. The next scene is the two men walking down the beach with woman surrounding them. They run out and dive into the ocean's waves. The next scene is the two men cruising in a convertible down a lively and colorful street. They're wearing Pava hats, gold chains and red tank tops. Los Boricuas are coming to the AWA We see a Japanese man training hard in the ring and taking down opponents one by one. The next scene, he puts on a leather trenchcoat and sunglasses. He walks outside and gets into a Toyota Supra Turbo. He speeds out. As the car drives, we get glimpses of the Tokyo nightlife. The car parks and he gets out. Masa Chono is coming to the AWA We see a cobra slithering around then suddenly strikes at the camera The Cobra returns to the AWA A huge man stands with his arms folded as a volcano erupts in the background. Sheik Adnan Al Kassie steps into the picture. Adnan: Destruction! Devastation! Annihilation! Doom! Kokina Maximus is coming to the AWA AWA TV returns next week with a huge main event. In a rematch from SuperClash, Ron Garvin and Dick Slater will defend the AWA world tag titles against the Enforcers.
  8. Tamura's patience pays off as he kicks the night off with a submission win. Johnson's power was impressive and he proved he belongs here. Strong finish by Hug gives him the decisive victory Kopylov got focused and that finish at the end showed he was on his A game Shamrock shined in the tag match. I would love to see Shamrock and Johnson battle it out The Koslowskis did their research and scouting and it paid off. It'll be hard taking the titles off these guys When Fujiwara clamps on the armbar it's over. Props to Suzuki for putting up an effort. I like that you now have two teams that could be considered challengers for the titles. Backlund showed he still has fight left in him but Han walks away with the high profile win. It's a big deal making Backlund submit. Fujinami and Sayama put on a clinic. Fujinami goes on a suplex rampage to get the exciting win. I know Sayama was beyond frustrated but he'll bounce back It all comes down to the match of the year. WOW! Karelin was on fire early on and had Maeda in serious trouble more than once. All time comeback by Maeda seals the deal! The match definitely lived up to expectations and I hope a rematch will take place someday. Congrats to Maeda. I'm sure he'll bring in a lot of money as champ. You had a tremendous year and I'm looking forward to an awesome 91.
  9. It's the new year which means get ready for the Royal Rumble! Great promo by Jake. The snake has the advantage, we'll see if he can slither his way to a royal rumble win. Disco Inferno has one of the catchiest themes in wrestling There's no better way for the Funk/Dusty feud to end. One man leaves the cage world champ, the other leaves the WWF. This is going to be the epic showdown. All your new talent gets to shine and show off their finishers. We also get some vets looking strong. Nice mix here. Haku looks to be back in top form.
  10. AWA picks up Hurricane Castillo, Miguel Perez, Sheik Adnan Al Kassie and Magnum TA
  11. I was looking at your roster. You do have a lot of solid hands and credible workers that will definitely bring something to this unique territory. I think you'll have a lot of fun building something special from the ground up. I'm really looking forward to ECW. You got this!
  12. I agree with the others, PnP are getting some nuclear heat right now, so smart move making them the focus. Also, Morton, Dog and Sommers will get a huge babyface shine going up against them. Perfect main event set up for next week. I know I will be tuning in.
  13. New Year's Knockout ends in total chaos as the Memphis boys arrive. Thanks to Alberto, we're going to get a triple threat match for the title. I love that the champ JYD will be in the midst of all these heels trying to sabotage each other. I think JYD has the advantage here. The Memphis/Texas banter cracked me up the entire show. Fuller and Stubbs have their hands full with all these characters. Night court? Hahahahaha priceless I wonder what Mike Miller's angle is here. But hey, I would want a guy swinging an axehandle on my side. Whatley always gave a great fired up promo. I would but a ticket to see him and Kabuki in a lumberjack match All the teams will battle it out for a title shot. It'll be hard getting those Harris Boys out of there.
  14. AWA releases The Missing Link, Shunji Takano, The Power Twins, Mike Graham, Brad Rheingans
  15. Sting and Sid in the main event scene kicks 91 off in a big way Paul E must be intolerable if it caused JJ to resign. Pillman's going to elevate the TV title to an entirely different level It's sad to see Muta go, but a big tournament to crown a new champ sounds pretty exciting
  16. Even with the no shows, the USWA still gave the fans a pretty damn good show to end the year. Rich and Gilbert together are Memphis heel magic. This is going to get beyond personal with Lawler and son. It's good to see Taylor's still as arrogant as ever Austin and Wallstreet has been a gem of a feud. Your tag team division is stacked with top notch teams. The champs will have their work cut out for them. Savage remains strong as he takes his title reign into 91 I loved the year end review and awards. So many great Memphis memories. Congratulations to Savage on winning wrestler of the year. With all that talent, the USWA will no doubt provide more action packed wrestling and hot angles in 91.
  17. PCW is back with a vengeance! Nice tribute to Gantner. The Bullpen were one of my favorite teams. Man, poor Gordy. It's one thing to be injured but damn, it's another to be injured and face Kawada. Kawada was born for this title I loved all the new debuts, factions and name rebranding's. It really put a fresh feel to an already exciting product. Hart's reign has started off incredibly strong with defenses over Windham and Dibiase Even though he's despised, Rose always looks out for his boys. I think Scotty will turn things around. It also looks like the Playboy Club will still be dealing with Piper. The LHW division is going to once again rock the shows. What you've done with Chris Adams is amazing. He's looking like a serious contender. Him and Hart could put on some classics. If you're an upstart rookie or a wrestler looking for a career resurgence. PCW is definitely the place to go Bring on the new year brother!
  18. AWA sends Buddy Landel and Bill Dundee to SCW

However, I myself have some great news. That masked moron Canek is all in my past. I've spent the last few months thinking about the future. I have a calling and I'm on a sacred mission. That mission is to travel the world and find the most elite wrestler on the planet. That mission starts this week and I promise I will return to the AWA with a wrestling ace. That ace will become a champion with my valuable expertise and guidance. That's a fact and that's a promise. Ok nerd, this interview is over. We're done! 21. The end of the year awards was a great way to cap off 1990 1991 kicks off with a bash in MSG. Let's do this! I liked how you used the vets Wahoo and Ivan to start up a program with the Pitbulls/Tatanka/Navajo Warrior Orton shows he's still an Ace Zenk and Koko are definitely high energy and they pick up a huge win over the Samoans Brutus gets a nice win over Chono. I think Bruti could have a big year as a top babyface The Ronin show why they were the tag team of the year. Looks like Roma might be banged up. Not a good sign Bad news for Nailz as Brown sends him packing. Slick's got to be worried about this Looks like Duggan and Earthquake will go at it again. This will be a fun hard hitting feud. I can't imagine what stipulation Dusty will pick for the Royal Rumble title bout. This is the match fans have been waiting for. Could we be seeing the end of the outlaws?
  22. This is awesome!! Great job!
  23. Show starts off with some RVW comedy. What's with this guy? LOL Hotbody gets the win and cuts a nice heel promo PnP/Morton/Williams tear the house down. I can imagine the studio fans going wild for this. Hotbody gets more heat and puts an end to the match. If Wild Dog gets involved, this feud is going to get crazy.
  24. The tournament was a lot of fun. Makes total sense making JYD the champ. He has the name value and brings credibility to the title. The Dog can get down in a territory like this. The show's opening was pure gold. I wish I could add a comedic element like this to my shows. You had me cracking up with the Alberto/RPG exchanges. Southern Rockers get the win, but the Harris Brothers do the damage JYD says sign your name and he'll take you on JC Ice has arrived and doesn't care who he insults. I wonder if seeds were planted for a Memphis/Texas battle. The promos between JC and RPG would be gold. RPG's boys are off to a good start. I could see Brooks and Jimy Jack as a solid and off hinge team. RPG delivers on his surprise as Eric Embry shows up. Another wrestler I've missed in this game. He's always been one of the best territory guys. Fan favorites the Party Patrol advance Pistol seeks revenge. Beware of the mist Chaz gets the win and unmasks the Attorney at Law. Not a bad night DJ's men round out the semis Looks like Alberto worked some magic with RPG because Embry gets the title shot he asked for. New Years is all set up
  25. The Grandaddy of them all-Starrcade! The Samoans last win at the Clash was a big one but tonight belonged to Demolition. RIP Big Josh. We're now in the era of the Undertaker. BadStreet is revealed to be DDP. I believe it's time for DDP to enter the squared circle as a wrestler Well, we all knew Sid and El Gigante was nothing but a visual. The right man went over because Sid rules the world Barb is one tough customer but Nikita rules the Russian Chain Match The TV title elevated the Diamond Stud and now Pillman will take it to another level. We're in for some action packed TV matches in 91 Hennig defeats Steamboat in a dream wrestling match. Rough night for the Dangerous Alliance champs. Muta's the man! I wonder how Paul E will react to all this. I noticed he was quiet during the title matches. Wow! I think Doom put an exclamation mark on the Rockers Sting got what he asked for and defeats the real Luger. I love how their story came full circle What a post show! Sid has been built up so well and putting Luger through the table skyrockets his stock. Sting vs Sid is gold. This is going to be awesome!!! I also like that other heels are being built up as serious contenders like Hennig and Taker. Sting's going to have a busy 91 Epic way to end the year.
