  1. With everything going down in Memphis, I have no doubt WrestleCade will deliver. WOW! Talk about a family feud. This one's going to get personal. The Prince will definitely earn his stripes by going toe to toe against the First Family. Savage and Bossman cut some pumped up promos to hype up their big title bout Oh yea, another tag team dream match coming. RWs and RnR Express, two of the best! I wonder how much money the York Foundation is going to have to fork over for another shot at Austin. The AWA thanks you for the shout out. Taylor and the Destruction Crew are in good hands
  2. With Finlay on the prowl, the Money Train is sticking together In his young career, Eddie's has already established himself Coast to Coast gets a nice showcase Lighting Kid is on a rapid rise Awesome finish by Douglas. Condrey's got to be worried Cow Palace I'm with AD, Shane needs to rest and recuperate Scorpio always puts on a show The Italian Stallion's finisher always does the job Scotty didn't have much of a chance against a focused Hart Not even the Playboy could come up with a defense against the Spinebuster slam Dibiase seems like he's rattled. Bad timing with a determined Hart coming after him Fresno Lee remains in Prime Time Griz dominates in single's competition I can't wait for the Monster Mash/Spinebuster Slam showdown! Regal and Malenko have unfinished business Liger's closing in on Barr's title PCO has given Condrey a hard time. This should benefit Douglas
  3. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 11-14-90 Ken Resnick: Hello fans and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Larry Nelson is in Alaska getting ready for this weekend's Title Night. We have a great show lined up tonight. The British Bombers collide with Buzz Sawyer and The Missing Link. That's one been brewing for a long time. We'll also have a SuperClash update. Ok, let's get to the ring for the action. The Missouri Tiger vs. Neil Jordan Tiger gets in the ring wearing his football jersey and football pants. He takes his jersey off and impresses the fans with his muscular physique. Tiger overwhelms his opponent with several power moves. He hits a snap suplex, then goes to the middle ropes. Jordan staggers up as Tiger nails him with a flying shoulder tackle for the win. Impressive debut for the Missouri Tiger. Commercial Break The Guerreros vs. Marvis Maples and Kenny Reeves Guerreros easily have control but still break the rules for the fun of it. Mando swings his opponent to the ropes and hits a drop toe hold as Chavo comes off the top rope with a knee drop to the head for the win. The Guerreros cut a promo and laugh at the Tribal Nation wanting another match since they already beat them. Resnick reminds them about the sack of coins that won them the match. The Guerreros get angry and say they'll take on the Tribal Nation next week! They start laughing again and say Resnick will be crying with the Tribal Nation when they lose again. Commercial Break We see the familiar deserted town. The camera pans over to hands gripping a noose then pans up to the Hangman. The camera shifts over to Nell, standing in his Preacher's suit and wearing his white cowboy hat. Nell: The time has come and as promised a poor soul has been chosen. That poor soul goes by the name of Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack is a blood thirsty violent masochist. Men like that do not belong amongst us. He is not human and must be exterminated. In other words, Cactus Jack your time has come, and you must now deal with the Hangman. The camera pans over to the Hangman as he tightens his grip on the noose. Marcus Bagwell and Marc Mero vs. The Art Newman and Gary Johnson The young team of Bagwell and Mero continue to improve and impress. Tonight they get the win with a double back drop followed by a double suplex. Commercial Break The Power Twins w/ Ted Arcidi vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Arcidi shouts throughout the match as the Power Twins show off their brute strength. Dave hits a backbreaker and holds his opponent as Larry comes off the top rope with a knee to the chest for the win. Resnick asks Arcidi why they attacked the Soul Patrol last week after a grueling world tag title match. The Power Twins and Arcidi laugh as Arcidi responds with "Why Not" Commercial Break AWA SuperClash Control Center It's announced that the AWA will introduce the 6-Man titles and a match will take place at SuperClash to determine the champions. The Committee has chosen the Takano Dragons and Bobby Blaze as one team and their opponents will be determined soon. Also announced for SuperClash is a Boot Camp Match between Carlos Colon and Col Debeers. Highlights of their feud follow this announcement. Another match signed will be El Canek vs. Konnan w Gary Hart. Gary Hart has made some bold statements and Canek has accepted the challenge. And it's official. Dick Slater and Ron Garvin will get a world tag team title shot at SuperClash. Also, TV star Alyssa Milano will be the traditional special guest ring announcer for the TV title bout. SuperClash takes place on Friday Jan. 2nd and Saturday Jan. 3rd and the McNichols Arena in Denver Co. Live on pay per view Commercial Break Konnan w/Gary Hart vs. William Hillman Hart watches on with pleasure as Konnan hits the Konnan Crash and follows with a single leg Boston Crab for the win. Resnick: Ok, Gary Hart, you got your wish. The match is signed for SuperClash. Konnan vs. El Canek. But be careful what you wish for. El Canek is not only Mexico's greatest wrestler but one of the AWA all time greats as well. Hart: Ken Resnick, your bias attitude amazes me. You and all the others put El Canek on a pedestal. You praise his greatness. I feel anger at the bottom of my stomach when people call him Mexico's best. Without a single doubt in my mind, I can tell you that this man right here (points at Konnan) is the greatest wrestler Mexico has ever produced. We will prove that at SuperClash. When that's over and done with, Konnan will conquer the AWA. Then you Ken Resnick and all the others will shout praise and put Konnan on that pedestal. Commercial Break We see a stage with smoke and flashing lights. The smoke clears and Maxx Payne is jamming on his guitar. Maxx Payne is coming to the AWA! Commercial Break Ron Garvin and Dick Slater vs. Carl Kellerman and Trent Watkins Slater and Garvin rough their opponents up with plenty of fists. Garvin slams his opponent and follows with the Garvin stomp. Garvin tags in Slater, who finishes things off with a Russian Leg Sweep. Garvin and Slater cut a fired up promo and say they've been done talking and at Super Clash their fists are going to do the talking when they pound on the Enforcers and take their AWA world tag titles! Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. The Missing Link and 'Mad Dog' Buzz Sawyer The bell rings and it's chaos! All 4 men just pound away on each other. After some brutal brawling, St. Clair sends Sawyer over the top rope with a running, spinning forearm blast. Smith clotheslines Link over the top rope. The Ref is trying to get control. He's telling the Bombers to stay back. St. Clair goes to his corner. On the outside, Link and Sawyer grab their chains. Link balls his chain around his fist. Smith goes to the ropes and grabs Link's hair. Link nails Smith with the chain. Smith's busted open as he falls back. St. Clair runs in to help Smith. Sawyer sneaks in the ring and clocks St. Clair from behind with his chain. The Ref calls for the DQ. Sawyer goes nuts as he wraps the chain around his fist and starts hammering away on St. Clair. Link does the same to Smith. Mass security hits the ring. Sawyer and Link threaten all of them before leaving. Sawyer is laughing manically as Link just looks insane. The Bombers are a bloody mess. Commercial Break Resnick: My goodness! I can't believe what we just witnessed. The British Bombers are in the back with medics. That was down right terrifying. 4. Bad News is totally in character of being a loner. I love the ultimatum Tatanka and Z Man could be the stars that shine in 91 The SS is really heating up. Each elimination match means something. The promos have done a really good job of hyping it up. At this point in their careers, it makes sense for Snuka and Andre to team up. They're legends and could have one last big hurrah Damn! Vader's the man! I can't imagine who's going to want to step up to him.
  5. The Russians are quickly making an impact The WWF is really cashing in on the Japanese talent. Sasaki shined with that finisher The way you've built up both men, Warrior vs. Berzerker is a damn good main event Boston I've mentioned this before, but I like how you've kept mainstays like Snuka and Sheik. They fill out the WWF cards well Hmmmmmm, I wonder who Frenchy has brought in Herc's always dangerous with his chain Bruti takes down the Ace Just like the tag team division, the Nasty Boys are on fire Bad News and OMG rock the house Oh man, the world champ defending against the King. Great main event. Kev and Haku are heading for an explosive showdown.
  6. Nice recap of Havoc and now off to the Clash Looking forward to the battle royal and who Sting will face Rockers better be ready because Doom's in the zone Sid wants Sting but might have to go toe to toe with El Gigante first With all the big men here, I can't wait to see who the Undertaker faces Who knows, maybe Pillman could get Muta on his side Luger makes it known he's getting the title back Oh man after losing the US titles to the Freebirds, the Samoans are coming for Demolition's heads. I like the direction WCW is going. 1990 is going to end on an epic high note
  7. It's Halloween in Memphis so of course Batman's got to go over POW is revealed. Christopher's in a pretty hot angle right now. Next TV will be very interesting JJ avoids the mist and gets the solid win RnR pump the fans up with the always over double dropkick to retain I'm enjoying the fun mid card matches. Rich, Valiant and JYD still have the name value and are contributing a lot to the scene. I guess the computer was right after all. Austin's really finding his groove Thanks to Christopher, Anvil pounds the Hammer After a great build up, the Road Warriors win the dream match against the Steiners. Smart move with the leg injury. It leaves the door open for a rematch. This could be a huge money making program What a great gimmick match to end the night. After that performance, could the Macho Man become the new king in Memphis???
  8. Finlay's taking apart the Money Train piece by piece With Rob Z's style, it was only a matter of time until the fans took a liking to him 2 Cold shows he's still a serious LHW contender Old Hollywood Jack takes advantage and gets the W Martel's still at the top of his game Portland Awkward 6 man tag with Stormfront coming out on top Windham gets passed the Bulldozer and is ready for Adams The MVC better be ready because Iron and Steel are coming after them Wow, Busick ekes out that win over Albright to retain Nice sportsmanship by the MVC Dibiase vs. Rose! Commercial Break El Canek vs. Todd Rooney Canek makes his return after another successful tour of Mexico. Canek looks damn good and wins the match with a gorilla press/rib breaker. Canek joins Larry Nelson at ringside. Nelson hypes up Canek's accomplishments and calls him the greatest wrestler to come out of Mexico. Boos as Gary Hart walks out. Nelson: Come on Gary, this isn't your time. Hart: I'm making it my time. Mr. Nelson, I take great offense by you claiming that this man is the greatest wrestler to come out of Mexico. I know for a fact that Konnan deserves that honor. Now, El Canek's resume is surely impressive but his time has come and gone. Konnan is the new era and with him comes a modern style of Luche Libre. It's time to bury the past and that means it's time to send El Canek into the sunset. Canek steps up to Gary but Gary calmly walks away. Commercial Break The RPM's and 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi vs. The Professionals and 'Jamm'n' Tommy Jammer w/ The Vin Man We get a fun back and forth match. Jammer and Brandi have been at each other and tonight they get in their heated exchanges. The RPMs put their speed and chemistry in full throttle. The Professionals slow the pace with technical wrestling and submission holds. Tensions rise when the Pros and Jammer start breaking the rules along with some interference by Vinnie. This leads to a pier six brawl. Vinnie hops on the apron as the RPMs stereo dropkick the Pros out of the ring. Brandi dropkicks Jammer into Vinnie. Let's hear some comments from Stan Hansen. Hansen's wearing his cowboy hat, has a mouth full of tobacco and the title on his shoulder. Hansen: Jumbo Tsuruta! I hated you in Japan and I hate you here! Next week in Alaska, I'm going to beat you to a pulp and leave you lying! There's aint no damn way you're taking this here title from me! Idol: That's right daddy, the Universal Heartthrob is here along with Gorgeous Gary Young and the future JW Storm. I'm here to talk to you Ricky Santana. I have to say, you've got that cool factor darling. I'm talking Caribbean coolness brother. As you can see, I'm forming a stable of winners. I like to call this stable Austin's Idols. Now, we need one more piece to complete this puzzle and then it's on with the master plan. Bottom line is we want you in Austin's Idols baby! Come with us and trust me, you won't regret it. Austin, Young and Storm head out. Ricky pauses, looks around and then follows them up the aisle. Commercial Break AWA TV Champ David Sammartino vs. Clinton Stitch Sammartino wins the match with a belly to belly suplex. Sammartino cuts a promo and says he's ready to defend the TV title against Iceman Parsons next week at Title Night. He says he's also been well aware of Jacquline's constant interference and has an ace up his sleeve. Commercial Break Col Debeers vs. Trent Watkins Debeers wins the match with a front face piledriver. Nelson: Col. Debeers, I think you've awaken a beast in Carlos Colon. He says he's going to win this war no matter what. Debeers: Never before have I heard such a ridiculous statement from an untouchable like Carlos Colon. He thinks because he hit me a few times with a baseball bat, that I'm going to be intimidated. Let me show you what's in store for that bottom feeder Colon. Debeers picks up his club. As his recent opponent Trent Watkins staggers away, Debeers nails him from behind with the club! Debeers brutally beats down on Watkins with the club until several officials run out to stop this madness. Commercial Break Gama Singh vs. Neil Jordan Gama is now trying to get back on track as a solo wrestler. He looks crisp tonight and wins the match with the Indian Deathlock. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Enforcers w/Tully Blanchard vs. The Soul Patrol Next week the Enforcers will be in the special attraction 6 man match at Title Night. The Soul Patrol were owed this title match and man they could really throw the Horsemen off their game if they win here tonight. The Soul Patrol bring their A game and dominate the first segment by pinballing the Enforcers all over the ring. Both Arn and Zbyszko are bumping like crazy. After getting stereo clotheslined over the top rope, Tully runs over and regroups his team. The Enforcers do regroup and take control. The Enforcers methodically work over Walker's arm and almost get the win when Zbyszko hammerlock slams Walker and holds his arm as Arn comes off the top rope with a knee to the arm. Luckily Jones ran in to make the save. Walker eventually tags in Jones. Jones cleans house for a while but the Enforcers come back. Tully runs around the ring, yanks Walker off and slams him arm first into the steel post. In the ring, Zbyszko executes a swinging neckbreaker on Jones. Dave picks up Walker and bearhug runs him into the steel post. Power Twin Larry gets in the ring and bearhug slams Jones into the mat. Arcidi leads them out as the Horsemen laugh. Tully, Arn and Zbyszko head to ringside. Tully: Hogan! Von Erich and especially you Muraco! I hope you were watching because you're all next! Zbyszko: You three spudheads aren't going to Alaska, you're coming into Larry Land and you're not coming out! Arn: The bigger they are, the harder the Horsemen put down! Muraco! You're out of your depth! And as for you Von Erich. You're going to rue the day you ever got in the Horsemen's business. That's a promise from Dan Spivey! And as for you Hogan. We're going to see to it that you never get that world title shot! Tully: That's a fact! And a painful one! Commercial Break Nelson: Wow, what a show this has been. Listen to this. Next week, the British Bombers will face Buzz Sawyer and the Missing Link. My goodness! Also, we'll see the debut of the Missouri Tiger. Now, next Saturday's Title Night in Alaska, Ric Flair will defend the AWA world title against Mr. Saito. Let's hear comments from the world champ, Ric Flair. Flair's wearing a suit with the title on his shoulder. Flair: You know there's a lot going on in the AWA and everybody wants to know what's causing all this! That's what happens when the Nature Boy's wearing the gold! I've defended this title all over the world and next stop is Alaska. Mr. Saito, I can outwrestle you! I can outclass you and brother I can out party you. I'm taking you to school in Alaska and it's as simple as that. Then I have to wonder, who's left. Well, one thing's for sure, it's not going to be you Hulk Hogan. Hahahahaha WOOOOO!
  10. Chono's Yakuza kick is really getting over King Kev adds muscle to his team Uncle Ivan shows up and serves notice to the WWF that the Russians are here! Ivan can play a key role here as the leader and mouthpiece. This is going to be great Sherri takes a verbal jab at King Kev Jake with menacing words. I'm looking forward to his role at SS Alright! The Z-Man has arrived. He has the right look and energy to go far here The main event gets wild and serves as an excellent set up for SS. It's always funny watching Funk lose his mind. You're definitely on the right track to SS.
  11. Wolverine and Magneto, yep it's Halloween To me, Silver King's win over Raymond is a big deal. Thos definitely moves Silver King up a level Brutus beats the Sheik in a fun veteran's match up Nikolai and Boris will fight another day The Ronin have been unstoppable since winning the titles. Cool seeing the tag title match as the main event Worcester Big things ahead for both Tatanka and Warlord Nasty Boys are making waves as they defeat the former champs The King is getting his chance to shine in the WWF LOL, I can just imagine Slick sprinting away from Bad News That must have been a sight to see watching Tugboat go down to Chono's big kick Duggan and his 2x4 send the fans home happy. I mentioned the tag title main event at the Cumberland arena. The IC title match closes this show. You've really put importance on these titles and have shown faith that they can be big draws.
  12. Fuke's experience was definitely the key factor here. Yamada kept the pressure on and finished strong Wow, Kanemoto went on an onslaught at the end. Great finishing sequence If Anjo had something to prove then mission accomplished as he gets a big submission win Han was going toe to toe and hung in there, but in the end, Karelin worked him over pretty good to advance. Takada is rebounding well from last year's loss to Vader. Takada just might be the sleeper this year Oh man, I thought Sayama was so locked in the zone that he would take Ruas, but the guillotine suplex was the beginning of the end for the champ. I know the crowd was stunned, so was I. Maeda vs. Fujinami is a money maker and these two delivered. Maeda gets the win to advance. I can't wait for the semis. Those are some great match ups. Tonight was an exciting show. It was a good mix of future stars and legendary vets.
  13. The tone is set right off the bat. The scene is electric! Always a good idea kicking off a big event with the babyfaces winning a 6 man tag Well, Z-Man had a lot of confidence going in but Sid shows why he rules the world Damn! Doom-Davey/Owen tear it up! One of the best street fights ever. After that win, Doom's ready for a title shot Rockers retain but looks like they still have to walk a little further down Bad Street Poor Jim Powers. RIP. The Undertaker has arrived Nikita gets to shine with a solid US title defense. Also satisfying with Uncle Ivan watching The Diamond Stud makes the business decision of a lifetime by hooking up with the Dangerous Alliance. Smart move but now he's got Pillman to deal with. However, Pillman's going to need some serious back up As expected, Muta and Steamboat put on an absolute show stealing match. The best part is, we're probably going to get another classic between them. This match was awesome! The united Demolition take care of the Samoans in a wild one It all comes down to Luger and Sting for all the marbles. After months of build, the fans get the epic pay off as Sting wins the world title and stands tall to end an incredible night of action. You really described the atmosphere to perfection. The commentary, interviews, non stop action and of course the Halloween vibe. Outstanding job and I'm glad you got the pictures up. WCW is going to end 1990 with a bang and I can't imagine what Starrcade will be like.
  14. AWA takes Frank Anderson and drops
  15. AWA takes Jeff Farmer
  16. Stormfront are having a lot of fun bending the rules Lighting Kid wants a LHW title reign in 91 I said PCO lit a fire under the Money Train but it looks like he's done the same with Finlay. I don't think anything is going to stop Douglas from getting that CA title Hart's more than tuned up and ready for the man of means Vancouver, Regal's on another roll. Big win over the former TV champ Harlem Heat is rapidly rising the tag ranks Martel ekes out the win over the Bulldozer Karachi Crunch= Game Over Speaking of game over. Nobody gets up from the Spinebuster Slam! Hart's tuned up but so is Dibiase Kelowna, Money Train keeps the fire burning Adams puts another down with the superkick Iron and Steel vs. the MVC is the money match I've been waiting for. Can't wait! SOB continue to ride that wave of fun Barr's been rock'n that LHW title PCO takes Condrey to the limit. I wonder if these kinds of title defenses will finally catch up when he meets Douglas.

Tonight, the immortal Hulk Hogan will be here along with his Title Night partners Kerry Von Erich and the Magnificent Muraco. Leo Burke will wrestle Iceman Parsons for a TV title shot at Title Night. And Cactus Jack clashes with Jimmy Golden, one last time. All that and a lot more, so lets go to the ring. Carlos Colon vs. Neil Jordan Colon gets the fans pumped up as he wins the match with a diving clothesline from the top rope. Colon grabs his baseball bat and goes to ringside. We see footage from Melee at the Mecca. Colon brutally attacks Col Debeers with a baseball bat. Nelson: Carlos, I know you've been through some bloody wars here but I've never seen you this intense. Colon: Col Debeers declared a war on me (holds up his bat) and I promise you that I will win this war by any means necessary! The Ref runs over and warns her to get down. Burke tosses Parsons down and heads over. Jackie's in his face. Parsons clears the cobwebs. Jackie finally hops down. Right as Burke turns around, Parsons nails him with the Hip Attack! The Ref counts 1..2..just as he hits 3, the bell rings. Jackie gets in the ring and raises Parsons arm. The Ref is over checking with the timekeeper. Now they're trying to figure out if the bell rang before he made the 3 count. Burke staggers up and has words for Jackie. Things get heated as several officials run in to keep things calm. The Ref is watching a replay. After a few viewings the Ref talks with the ring announcer. It's announced that the 3 count was made before the bell, so Iceman Parsons is the winner. The fans boo. Jackie and Parsons taunt and laugh at Burke. Burke breaks free of the officials and nails Parsons with a running forearm blast that sends Parsons through the ropes. Jackie's screaming at Burke as officials hold Burke back. Also on that card, my guests at this time, Latin Desire will defend the AWA National tag titles against the Heavenly Bodies. Before Latin Desire can talk, the Heavenly Bodies strut out. Landel: You know, it's a damn shame that two of the ugliest guys I've ever seen are holding the National tag team titles. You two greaseballs should just save yourselves the embarrassment of getting out classed in the ring and just hand over those title right now! Prichard: Budro, you're absolutely right. I mean come on, we're better looking, we definitely have the better hair and without a doubt, we're the better team. It really is that obvious. Heavenly Bodies have a great laugh. Latin Desire take off the belts and gently set them down. They motion for the Heavenly Bodies to take them. Landel: Well, that wasn't so hard, was it? The Heavenly Bodies go to pick them up. Latin Desire smile and start pounding away on the Heavenly Bodies. They hurl them into the ring. Lou's pounding on Prichard in the corner. Al's all over Landel in the opposite corner. Latin Desire swing the Heavenly Bodies into each other. They collide and stagger back as Latin Desire grab them and hit stereo atomic drops. Eye of the Tiger blasts as Kerry, Muraco and Hogan head up the aisle and into the ring. Hogan high fives Kerry and Muraco. Nelson: You guys have all had issues with the Horsemen and Dan Spivey. Muraco, I know you especially have had a problem with Tully Blanchard. Muraco: Blanchard! You costed me my chance at the world title! You snuck in like a coward when my back was turned. That's what a weasel like you would do. I'm telling you right now Blanchard, if you stick your nose in this match, I'm going to knock your head off your shoulders! Nelson: Ok, strong words. Now, Kerry, Dan Spivey had some choice words for you last week. Von Erich: You know Larry Nelson, I made it crystal clear that I wouldn't just sit back and let the Horsemen gang up on whoever they wanted to. They're nothing but bullies and to take care of a bully, you punch them in the mouth! The Horsemen love playing the numbers game, but let's see how tough they are when the numbers are even. Dan Spivey, you're serving as some kind of hitman for the Horsemen and if you have a problem with me, then we will settle it in the ring! Nelson: Ok Hulk, Ric Flair has vowed that you will never get another title shot. The Enforcers and Dan Spivey have been quite the obstacles for you. Hogan: Well you know something Lethal Larry. I made a promise to all my Hulkamaniacs that Hulk Hogan would once again become AWA world champion. Right now, I'm making a promise that Hulk Hogan will indeed be world champion again and there's nothing that Ric Flair can do about it! But right now, I'm focused on the task at hand brother. I'm talking about the Enforcers and Dan Spivey. Well, I've got two bad dudes standing side by side with Hulkamania. And at Title Night, we're going to bulldozer right over those goons and henchmen and we'll be standing tall at the end. So, Enforcers, Dan Spivey, whatcha gonna do when the Modern Day Warrior, the Magnificent One and Hulkamania run wild on youuuuuuuuuuuuuu! The show ends with Hogan ripping off his shirt as Kerry and Muraco soak it all in.
  18. I'm always excited to see which rookies PCW will mold
  19. The Natural is getting some good seasoning in the WWF Damn, King Kevin is going to need to put together quite a squad to contend with Sherri's group. It's going to be hard for a loner like Brown to find some teammates Tag champs better not forget about the Samoans. These guys look hungry Hmmmm I hope Jacques can make it back by SS. Rough times for the Rougeaus Duggan's wasting no time as he recruits Billy Jack OMG demolishes Bushwhacker Luke Nasty Boys tell it straight up like it is Even though Wahoo's in his twilight, that's still a big win by Haku, especially by submission.
  20. Fun series of house shows. I love what's going on in the tag division and it's only going to get better with the Nasty Boys Ultimate Warrior and the Outlaws are building some great heat for Survivor Series I like how you used your house shows to further storylines.
  21. The road to Halloween Havoc has been a wild ride! Excellent job with the build. Every match seems special. Powers has been on the roll of a lifetime but will it all end eerily at Havoc. Crush is fully united with Demolition and is ready for the chaos against the Samoans Doom vs. Davey and Owen in a street fight! Oh yea!! Zenk's been playing fun mind games with Sid, but I wouldn't want to face an even more pissed off Sid Rockers have been in some wars and this could take a toll when they walk down bad street Steamboat and Muta will be a show stealer! Hall gets fired up but Hennig and Rude seem to be totally in sync. Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Nikita almost throws a wrench into all the Havoc plans but things get crazy and it remains Luger vs. Sting at Havoc. This is the money match of the year! Bring it on!
  22. I love this unhinged Savage. He's causing so much fun Memphis style chaos. This is great! Wow! Jeff Jarrett turned his aggression to full volume on Orndorff Whoever POW is, he's certainly got a grudge with HTM JYD gets in his big thump York's computer keeps Wallstreet's win streak going The odds were against Wildfire tonight but I'm sure he'll find some back up Austin keeps backing up his talk DAMN! That was quite the debut for the Road Warriors! Message clearly sent to the Steiners RnR finally win the straps and the First Family splits up. Anvil vs. Hammer should be a fun feud Hahahaha loved that finish! Macho, oh I mean that masked man really made his presence felt. That is one stacked Halloween card. The long awaited RWs/Steiners clash along with a gimmick of all gimmicks world title triple threat match. I'm sure a lot of fans will be turned away that night because it's going to be a sell out for sure.
  23. You remind me of Roy Shire because you always know how to pump up your annual battle royal. Outstanding write up. Damn, Bret Hart earned this one! No doubt about it, he's ready for his shot at Dibiase. Lightning Kid is really coming on strong and has become a serious LHW contender PCO's guidance has lit a fire under the Money Train Ahhhh the classic fake chair shot behind the Ref's back. I've used this one also LOL. I did laugh at Eddie's response. Creative way to plant seeds. Props to the Thrillseekers. The Midnights have been on a roll and the Seekers took them to the limit. After another exciting Tournament of Lions, Rob Z wins this year's crown. Rob Z's stock just went way up. The FOJ have always been one of my favorites in the game. Great seeing them retain at a big event I liked this Dibiase/Severn program. Severn emerged as a huge threat and rattled Dibiase. The man of means finally puts an end to things and once again walks out with the title. Wow, I can't believe the San Diego card is already here. I know we're in for some epic blow offs.
  24. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 10-24-90 A recap of Melee at the Mecca is shown. Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. I know we're all still reeling from Melee at the Mecca and we all know SuperClash 5 is coming, but before that we even get to that, the AWA will present a Title Night on November 15th. More on that later. Wow, a lot happening in the AWA. As for tonight, Tommy Jammer takes on Tom Brandi. The Soul Patrol will wrestle the Power Twins. Gary Hart will be here along with Konnan. And all four horsemen will be here tonight! Ok, let's get to the ring. Marcus Bagwell and Marc Mero vs. Ben Lloyd and Pete Wissman The AWA has noticed the potential in rookies Bagwell and Mero and decided to give them a chance to get some shine on TV. These guys are green but have some fire. They look pretty good and win the match with stereo sunset flips. Commercial Break Ricky Santana vs. Carl Kellerman Santana once again shows off his charisma and energy in the ring and wins the match with a flying knee drop from the top rope. Commercial Break The Soul Patrol vs. The Power Twins w/Ted Arcidi The bell rings and the Soul Patrol immediately double dropkick Arcidi out of the ring. The match starts with a hard hitting pier six brawl. Things eventually settle down and we get another back and forth match with both teams putting their muscles to work. After a few minutes of back and forth action, Arcidi trips Walker. Jones runs around the ring and punches Arcidi. Dave hops down and fights with Jones. Inside the ring, Larry slams Walker. Jones back drops Dave on the concrete. Larry swings off the ropes and Jones trips him. Larry staggers into a quick cradle by Walker 1..2..3!! The Soul Patrol celebrate up the aisle as Arcidi and the Power Twins start flipping over chairs in anger. Commercial Break We see a video of a big man with a total grunge look playing a guitar. Smoke is all around him with flashing lights going off. Maxx Payne is coming to the AWA! Nelson: Ok, Maxx Payne is on his way to the AWA. A very interesting individual indeed. Fans, my guest at this time calls himself the future, I'm talking about JW Storm. JW, you've been in a bit of a slump lately and people are saying you're not living up to your future moniker. Before Storm answers, out comes Austin Idol and Gary Young. Idol: Stand back Larry, I got this. (Looks at Storm) Listen darling, don't listen to all that bogus stuff. I'm telling you right now, you are the future daddy and you belong with winners. You can be a part of our future. Come on back and let me talk at you. There's a pause. Storm: Ok, you got my attention. Storm follows Idol and Young to the back. Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Smith hits the superplex as St. Clair follows with a senton for the win. The Bombers celebrate as the fans cheer. WHAM!! From behind the Bombers are hit with chains by Buzz Sawyer and the Missing Link! Sawyer and Link swing Smith to the ropes and double clothesline him with their chains. They wrap their chains around their hands and start punching away on St. Clair! Several officials and prelim wrestlers come out to stop this. Sawyer and Link leave the ring. They go over to a terrified Larry Nelson. Sawyer snatches the mic from him. Sawyer: (maniacal laugh) I want to thank the British Bombers for getting my suspension lifted. (more laughing) now the pain begins! Link lifts his chain towards Nelson and Nelson runs away. Commercial Break Konnan w/Gary Hart vs. Trent Watkins Konnan is aggressive tonight as Hart looks on. Hart gives a nod as Konnan executes his Konnan Crash for the win. Resnick: Gary Hart, you made yourself known at Melee and I have to ask, with all the rumors about somebody getting in Konnan's ear, was this your plan all along? Hart: Make no mistake about it, this was my master plan from the beginning. I have been watching what's been going on in the AWA and I saw the potential in this man (points at Konnan) This man is a true warrior with a fighter's heart. This man has all the tools. He's without a doubt the greatest wrestler to come out of Mexico and he will soon dominate the world. Gama Singh was holding him back and now Konnan's free. I will take Konnan to the highest levels never before imagined. This is the Konnan era! Commercial Break We see the familiar setting of an old ghost town in the desert. We see hands gripping a noose as the camera pans up to the Hangman. The camera then pans over to Nell. Nell: Time catches up to all souls. It caught up to Brutus Beefcake. It caught up to the Snowman and of course it caught up to that poor soul Texas Red. Along with time comes patience. Right now we're seeking out our next soul. So, I ask that you just be patient and while you're waiting, you can sit and wonder just who the next soul will be for us to take. Commercial Break 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi vs. 'Jamm'n' Tommy Jammer w/The Vin Man Vinnie arrogantly leads Jammer to the ring. The fans roar as Brandi sprints down the aisle. He grabs Vinnie and hurls him into the steel post! He hurls Jammer into the ring. He swings Jammer to the ropes and back drops him. Jammer staggers up as Brandi grabs him by the hair and hurls him over the top rope onto Vinnie! The match never officially started. Commercial Break Larry Nelson is standing in the ring. Nelson: Fans, on November 15th from the Sullivan Arena in Alaska, the AWA presents Title Night. On that night, Ric Flair will defend the AWA world title against Mr. Saito. Stan Hansen will defend the International title against Jumbo Tsuruta in a rematch from Melee. Latin Desire will defend the National tag titles against the Heavenly Bodies. And listen to this special attraction match. AWA World tag champs the Enforcers will team up with Dan Spivey to take on The Magnificent Muraco, Kerry Von Erich and the immortal Hulk Hogan! Wow! Ok, joining me now are the four horsemen, AWA tag team champs, the Enforcers, the figurehead Tully Blanchard and the AWA world champion, Ric Flair. The Horsemen enter the ring with the upmost confidence and swagger. Tully's about to talk but DAN SPIVEY enters the ring. Spivey: Hogan! You're still number one on my hit list but right now I need to eliminate a pest. (looks at the Horsemen) Don't worry about Von Erich! He's all mine!! Spivey exits. Tully: Well, that problem's solved. (smirks) you're on borrowed time Von Erich! Muraco, it felt so good to pull out my sling shot suplex and put your stupid face in the mat. It was even better watching the AWA world champ Ric Flair inflict pain and punishment with the figure four. As for you Hogan, you're going to be out manned by the world tag champs, the Enforcers. Zbyszko: You know I wonder what that spudhead Hulk Hogan is gonna do when he's out of his league with the tag champs at Title Night. Arn: It's real simple, we're tag team specialists and a cohesive unit. Von Erich's no match for Spivey. Muraco proved he doesn't have what it takes and as for you Hogan, all the kissing up to AWA higher ups won't help you at all when you're in there with the Horsemen! Tully: Talk to them champ! Flair: Hogan! I told you once and I'll tell you a hundred more times. You haven't earned a world title rematch and whether you like it or not, you'll never get another world title shot and that's final! As for Title Night, Mr. Saito, you're next in line and you'll fall just like the rest! It's that easy. I'm walking out of Alaska with my world title and as good as Saito is, he's not on my level, not even close and I'm taking him to school! WOOOOO!!! The show ends with the Horsemen standing tall.
  25. Warlord shines in his debut with Sherri The Ultimate Warrior is back and gearing a team up for Survivor Series. I know it's going to be one hell of a match with the Outlaws. Slick uses one of the best movie lines ever from Rocky 3. Can't wait for more OMG/Bad News brawls The Northern Invasion against Duggan and his hand picked patriots will be another SS clash This episode was filled with muscle as Billy Jack and P&G get wins Bad News and Nikolai cut some fired up promos The Ultimate Warrior returns to the ring with a dominant win over the Genius.
