Last PCW mega event of the year. Let's do this! PCO gets a satisfying win but looks like Finlay wants more The Midnights show Stormfront what rule breaking is all about. Maybe Stormfront learned something tonight Bigelow gets a massive win but the Italian Stallion showed he had more fight and took it out on Sandman. We've got a feud coming Poor Shane. He's got guts but I think it's time to heal Rob Z is up for a huge 91 Dragon shows he's still a contender Sarge finally gets that big win over Tenryu. He earned that one Barr's solid reign ends at the hands of Liger. Here's to another exciting LHW title reign The FOJ get a sweet win on then big stage to retain. These guys are so good After one of the best chases in the game, Douglas finally wins the title. Good for him. Props to Condrey on an incredible run. Night 2 Thrillseekers looked to be more focused heading into 91 Lightning Kid is no joke. He's a serious LHW contender now Damn, Awesome and Kawada totally dismantled Severn and Blackman. We'll see how they rebound from that Prime Time gets the job done with nobody around. I wonder what's going on there 20 minutes just wasnt enough time for Malenko and Regal. Perhaps a no time limit match in the future When you're in the ring with Martel, you better be on your A game In another epic blow off, Windham takes down Adams. Well, I guess it was only a matter of time before the Playboy Club got the better of Piper. But I know Piper will be coming back with a vengeance. The Monster puts up a brutal fight but Busick literally puts him down with the mighty Spinebuster Slam! I was really anticipating this match and it delivered. My guys Iron and Steel finally capture the gold! After a year long quest, Hart finally gets his chance. Hart did a great job of frustrating Dibiase and the former contenders come back to haunt Dibiase (Great continuity) Hart gets the clear win with a submission to win the title. What a journey! What a way to end the year! Awesome job!

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 11-28-90 Larry Nelson: Hello fans and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Well, we're on the road to SuperClash and tonight I'll be talking with Hulk Hogan in that ring. Also, Ken Resnick will conduct an interview with the AWA world champion Ric Flair. That will take place at one of the champ's favorite restaurants. Also tonight... An AWA employee runs up and frantically says something to Nelson. Nelson: What? Fans, I've been told there's some kind of disturbance going on in the parking lot. We're going to follow our cameraman out there. We follow the cameraman out to the parking lot. We see Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko stomping down on Ron Garvin and Dick Slater. The Enforcers hurl Slater and Garvin into the side of a car. Arn opens the car door. Larry puts Garvin's arm in the car as Arn slams the door on Garvin's hand! Arn drags Slater up and puts his arm inside the car as Larry slams the door on his hand! A swarm of security run out Nelson: This is sickening! We're going to need medical assistance out here! (looks at the Enforcers) Just what the hell are you doing?! Arn: It's real simple! That was a reminder of what we do as Horsemen! We're not good guys and beating people up is what we do! Garvin and Slater want a shot at out titles? Come on and try to take them! Zbyszko: This is a chess game spudhead. Those neanderthals like to use their fists, well we just eliminated their best weapons. See you boys at SuperClash. Nelson: We need to go to a break. Commercial Break Winner gets an AWA TV Title shot at SuperClash Gama Singh vs. Jimmy 'The Stud' Golden Golden attacks at the bell and pounds away on Gama, swings him to the ropes and puts Gama down with a back elbow smash. Golden stomps away and follows with a jumping fist drop 1..2..Kick Out. Golden continues his onslaught until Gama changes things when Golden goes for a back drop and Gama kicks him, then dropkicks him down. Gama swings Golden into the corner and follows with a monkey flip. Gama swings off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Gama's in control until Golden gives him a thumb to the eye. Golden regroups and punches away on Gama. Golden swings Gama to the ropes and flips him over with a knee to the mid section. Golden follows with a gut buster 1..2..Gama barely gets his shoulder up. Golden berates the Ref and then starts poking him and getting in his face. Golden finally focuses on Gama. Golden lifts Gama up for a body slam but Gama quickly cradles him 1..2..3!!! Big Pop! Gama rolls out of the ring as Golden throws an epic tantrum. Gama gets a TV title shot at SuperClash. Commercial Break The Equalizer vs. Carl Kellerman The Equalizer brutalizes his opponent. He slams him down, goes to the middle ropes and crashes down with a stomp on the chest for the win. Equalizer starts stomping and huffing all around the ring. Commercial Break The Missouri Tiger vs. Ray Glader As the Missouri Tiger heads to the ring, the Equalizer is still stomping and huffing around. Equalizer bumps into Tiger and pushes him. Tiger pushes Equalizer back. Equalizer charges and fists start flying. Officials quickly run out. A pissed off Equalizer huffs and stomps his way up the aisle. Tiger regroups and wins his match with a flying tackle from the middle ropes. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, I've been told that Dick Slater and Ron Garvin have been taken to the hospital. We hope to have more information next week. The Enforcers have been escorted off the premises. Ok, let's take you to that special interview with the AWA world champion Ric Flair. We see Ric Flair sitting at a table in a classy restaurant. The world title is sitting on the table. Ken Resnick is seated to the left. Resnick: Ric, at SuperClash, you will be defending that AWA world title against Hulk Hogan in what people are calling the rematch of the century. Flair: It is a rematch and as you all know, I beat the immortal Hulk Hogan at WrestleRock to win this coveted title. Resnick: Indeed you did. However, people have been saying that you've been ducking this rematch with Hulk Hogan. Flair: Let me stop you right there Resnick. Why would I duck somebody that I've already beaten? I'm Ric Flair, custom made from head to toe. I'm the greatest wrestler walking that aisle today. This world title proves that. You see Hulk Hogan has been given everything on a silver platter. That was obvious since day one in the AWA. Hogan thinks he's entitled to anything he wants. Well as world champ, I say not a chance pal. Hogan had to climb back up the ladder and earn his shot. I know he's used to getting anything he wants but not on my watch. So no, I'm not ducking Hulk Hogan. In fact, I'm looking forward to taking him to school, slapping his face and beating him again at the AWA's flagship event. The era of Hulkamania is over. The era of the Nature Boy has just begun. Hogan! You're stepping into the ring with greatness and you're going to be humiliated. At SuperClash, you're finished! WOOOOO! Commercial Break Leo Burke vs. Nel Jordan Burke wins the match with the sleeper. As Burke heads up the aisle, he's met by Jacquline. Jackie has words with him. From behind, Iceman Parsons nails Burke with a taped fist punch to the head! Jackie holds Burke. Parsons winds up his taped fist and KO's Burke! Parsons puts his boot on Burke's chest as Jackie raises his arm. Commercial Break We see footage from a couple weeks ago when Buzz Sawyer and Missing Link went to work on the British Bombers with chains. The Bombers are standing in front of a SuperClash banner. Their heads are bandaged up. The Bombers cut a fired up promo and challenge Sawyer and Link to a double chain match at SuperClash! Konnan w/Gary Hart vs. William Hillman Hart watches with approval as Konnan hits the Konnan Crash and follows with the Tequila Sunrise for the win. Nelson: Gary, your man Konnan looks to be in tremendous shape as he's set to face El Canek at SuperClash Hart: You have a very keen eye Larry. Konnan is a true force. His time has come and that will be proven at SuperClash when he defeats the great El Canek. Everywhere we go, all we hear is that Canek is the greatest ever to come out of Mexico. I beg to differ. Konnan is the man! The world will find that out at SuperClash. You had an impressive run El Canek, but your day has come. It's Konnan's time now. Commercial Break 'The Modern Day Warrior' Kerry Von Erich vs. Todd Rooney The fans are on their feet as Kerry finishes things off with the claw! Wait a minute! Dan Spivey hits the ring but Kerry turns around in time. Spivey throws a punch but Kerry ducks and punches Spivey to the ropes. Kerry backs up and a discus punch sends Spivey over the top rope! The fans are going nuts as Kerry pumps his fists. Spivey clears the cobwebs and slams his hands on the apron. Security is in high alert and runs out to keep Spivey from getting back in the ring. Commercial Break SUPERCLASH Control Center Friday January 2nd and Saturday January 3rd McNichols Arena, Denver CO Live on pay per view New matches announced. Sawyer and Link quickly accept the Bombers challenge to a chain match AWA TV Title Bout Special ring announcer- Alyssa Milano David Sammartino (C) vs. Gama Singh Cactus Jack vs. The Hangman w/Nell Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Mr. Saito Tornado Tag Team Match Tribal Nation vs. The Guerreros Singing the National Anthem on Night 1 and America the Beautiful on night 2- Belinda Carlisle Special guest time keeper for the AWA World Title Bout- Malcolm Jamal Warner Also announced. The Magnificent Muraco will face an opponent handpicked by Tully Blanchard. If Muraco wins, he gets 5 minutes with Tully! Muraco cuts a pumped up promo and says it doesn't matter who Tully picks because his hate for Tully will win him the match and then he gets to unleash the fury on Tully! Tully will be here next week for comments. Commercial Break Winners get to wrestle Bobby Blaze and the Takano Dragons for the 6-Man titles at SuperClash Austin's Idols (Ricky Santana/JW Storm and Gary Young) w/Austin Idol vs. 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi and The Rock n Roll RPMs This one's a solid fast paced back and forth match. Everybody gets a chance to shine as the momentum shifts several times. Tempers start to flare and we get a pier six brawl. The RPMs, Santana and Young all fight to the outside. During the brawl, the Vin Man comes to ringside and distracts the Ref. This allows Tommy Jammer to hit the ring and dropkick Brandi from behind. Jammer takes off. Brandi staggers up as Storm nails him with a spere! The Ref counts 1..2..3! On the outside, the RPMs catch Jammer. But before they can do anything, the Professionals come out and attack the RPMs. There's chaos on the outside as Young and Santana roll back in the ring and celebrate with Storm and Idol. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, what a night this has been. Things are getting to a boiling point as we head to SuperClash. Speaking of SuperClash, coming to the ring now is the immortal Hulk Hogan! The fans explode as Eye of the Tiger blasts and Hogan enters the ring. Nelson: Hulk, I know you heard the comments of Ric Flair. At SuperClash, you get your rematch for the AWA world title. Hogan: Well you know something Lethal Larry, thanks to the power of all my Hulkamaniacs, Hulk Hogan is in the best shape of his life. Oh yea brother, that little man Ric Flair has sent every obstacle at me to keep this rematch from happening. But Hulk Hogan is still standing! Ric Flair! You've seriously underestimated the power of Hulkamnia and at SuperClash, I'm going to regain the AWA world title and Hulkamiana will be stronger than ever brother! Each and every week until SuperClash Hulk Hogan will be standing in this ring. So, Flair, if you or any of your cowardly goons want to join me in this ring then come on and try me. I'm more fired up then ever Larry. I just can't wait until SuperClash. Ric Flair, whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on youuuuuuuuuu! Hogan rips his shirt off and flexes.

Survivor Series! Let's do this! We see some big finishers in the free for all. The highlight for me was Vader's moonsault on Andre. Vader's a made man. Silver King has been on fire and he definitely carried that momentum into this match. Him and Nikolai get the best of the Russians. Lawler and Jake looked really strong and make it to the end. Zenk and Ware showed some good teamwork. Brown gets too caught up with Slick and it costs him. The big men Nailz, Hughes and OMG finish strong and get the win. It took a lot but Kevin outlasts everyone to survive. After all that, sneaky Lawler makes his move and succeeds. It looks like we're going to get the battle of the Kings soon. The 4x4s and Invasion put on a great back and forth fight. Earthquake stands tall as the sole survivor. Funk and Rhodes still have that burning hate for each other. Warrior and Tito end the night on a high note. Really enjoyed the card. It sets a good tone for who's ready to headline in 91. Warrior has rebuilt himself well and looks to be Funk's number one challenger. You also set up another classic Funk/Dusty showdown. A lot of heels went over which gives IC champ Duggan a lot to work with. Great job!
-
We'll see if Bad News can coexist with his partners or will he just want to take out Slick's men all on his own. Announcing Andre and Snuka was a smart move. I think tickets will be sold just for a chance to see Vader and Andre square off.

Always love a good recap Rich, JYD and Valiant are legends here and they've been shown their respect in Memphis. The Destruction Crew made quite an impact already. They'll be tested by the Southern Boys I really enjoyed writing Terry Taylor as a heel. It looks like you do too. This is going to be fun to watch. Well, it looks like the computer doesn't like Wallstreet's chances against a red hot Austin Anvil and Hammer is going to be one hard hitting slugfest. I'm so intrigued by the RWs/RNR match. Two teams that ruled the 80s going at it in a dream match. I'm sure the Memphis fans are ready for the King and Prince to shut the First Family up once and for all The build to Bossman/Savage has been done perfectly. Can't wait for the blow off

Damn! The Samoans looked absolutely devastating when they finished off Demolition. This puts the Samoans on a different level. Doom dominates the Rockers to win the world titles. Doom's going to have an awesome run. Loved that finishing sequence by Sting. He really showcased why he's the world champion. It seems Race's stable is falling apart. Is Luger having a change of heart? We'll see how all this unfolds. WHOA! That Iron Man match was EPIC!!!! Steamboat and Muta were born for this. The match had all the drama and excitement you could ask for. Very well written. Muta eeks out the win in the final seconds and gives Steamboat his respect. I agree with AD, definitely a match of the year candidate.

Welcome back! Great to see your shows again You can't go wrong by kicking things off with John Denver Chris Cruise is a good voice to have Nice Thanksgiving show with a feel good atmosphere

Damn, Sandman and the Italian Stallion got heated quick Adams gets a showcase as he tunes up for Windham I think we knew this was coming and now we'll see if Snow's ways work without the Citadel Gordy remains submission champ but will this affect his tag title reign. Candido's had enough but can he go toe to toe with Piper It's been a long and tough road but Hart's clearly ready for Dibiase LA Just like Adams, Windham's tuned up as well Midnights and Thrillseekers give us another wild one Kawada's rampage continues The Kid keeps racking up the wins and is really making a presence in the LHW division Although he didn't take the fall, Dibiase isn't looking his best Busick retains to end the night on a high note Santa Barbara Sarge's cannon gets the job done Malenko wins the battle of former submission champs Only Piper can mess with a mind like that Azul excites the crowd Barr continues his dominance of the LHW division Condrey goes the limit again. This might take a tool as he gears up for a game Douglas

However, when i defeat the immortal Hulk Hogan for the second time, you will bring to me the highest priced champagne bottle and you will raise a glass and make a toast in my honor. But that's as far as it goes Gerry because you will not be invited to the after party celebration. WOO! You lost that privilege! Tully: That's right Morrow! That'll be a private Horsemen party and champions only! Morrow: AHHHHHH Tully, I'm so glad you chimed in because I have very special plans for you at SuperClash. I will not let de cat out of de bag dis week but will inform you next week. Let's just say dat I had a nice conversation with Don Muraco in de hospital and he's given me something to ponder. Good day gentlemen. Tully's left a bit shaken. Britton: WOW! It all happens when I'm around. Until next time tooooooodles! Brenda and Morrow exit. Flair grabs the mic. Flair: Hogan! Listen up! As always you seem to have the corporate big wigs in your pockets but trust me pal, at SuperClash I'm taking you to school and humiliating you like never before! Commercial Break The Soul Patrol vs. Neil Jordan and Samson Smith Jones swings Smith to the ropes and punches him in the mid section as Walker comes off the top rope with a sunset flip for the win. The Soul Patrol cut a fired up promo on Arcidi and the Power Twins. They say that all those muscles wont help them when the Soul Patrol comes knocking. Commercial Break Austin's Idols (Ricky Santana/JW Storm and Gary Young) vs. Bob Sacs/Tim Wilson and Tom Moore Storm nails Wilson with a sphere. Santana hits a flying elbow drop from the top rope and Young finishes things off with a tornado DDT. Nelson: Good debut for your men Austin. It seems you've been a busy man with your pleas to the committee. Next week your men will take on Tom Brandi and the Rock n Roll RPMS. The winners will face Bobby Blaze and The Takano Dragons at SuperClash for the new AWA 6 man titles. Idol: Larry, darling, I am the man with the master plan. I've spent a lot of time putting together Austin's Idols. We have the gorgeous one, the charismatic one and the future all wrapped up in a bundle. The plan is all coming together. After we beat those goofy pretty boys next week, then it's on to SuperClash and that's when we reap the rewards and become champions! Commercial Break Carlos Colon vs. Trent Watkins Colon wins the match with a flying clothesline from the top rope. OH NO! Debeers attacks Colon from behind and pounds him down. Debeers picks up Colon and delivers a front face piledriver! Debeers pulls out a strap and starts viciously whipping Colon! Officials run in. Debeers calmly walks to ringside twirling his mustache. Nelson: You're a sick man Debeers! Debeers: Survival of the fittest Colon! Survival of the fittest! Commercial Break SuperClash Control Center Friday Jan. 2nd and Saturday Jan. 3rd McNichols Arena, Denver Co Live on pay per view New matches made official this week AWA World Title Bout Ric Flair (C) vs. Hulk Hogan AWA International Title Bout Stan Hansen (C) vs. King Kong Bundy AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Enforcers (C) vs. Dick Slater and Ron Garvin AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Latin Desire (C) vs. The Heavenly Bodies Kerry Von Erich vs. Dan Spivey Taped Fist Match Leo Burke vs. Iceman Parsons w/Jacquline Commercial Break Cactus Jack vs. Todd Rooney Jack wins the match with a double arm DDT Nelson: Cactus, I know you saw the eerie challenge made to you by Nell and the Hangman. Your thoughts? Jack: What you call eerie, I call fun! I came to the AWA to have a lot of fun and this sounds like a great time to me. I accept your challenge Nell and we're going to find out if your Hangman can handle the pain I call fun. Bang Bang! Commercial Break Footage from Title Night is shown as King Kong Bundy splashes Stan Hansen right after his grueling match with Jumbo Tsuruta. Nelson: With me now is King Kong Bundy. Bundy, you knew you were getting an International title shot at SuperClash, so why attack Stan Hansen like that when he was already exhausted? Bundy: Hey! I said I was coming for gold! When I was informed of my SuperClash title shot, I had to get in there and show Stan Hansen who he was getting in the ring with! Nelson: Well, he's the bad man from Borger Texas and he'll be ready for the fight. You can count on that. Bundy: Bad man? HA! He didn't look so bad to me! Listen up Hansen! At SuperClash you're going to get steamrolled by the walking condominium! Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, before we get to our main event, the 2 names drawn for a shot at the AWA TV title at SuperClash are Jimmy Golden and Gama Singh. Those two will wrestle next week for the tremendous opportunity. Also, the immortal Hulk Hogan will be here! Ok, main event time. The Tribal Nation vs. The Guerreros A lot of hate here and as soon as both teams are in the ring, fists are flying. The Ref lets it go. The Tribal Nation put Chavo down with a double chop, then double clothesline Hector over the top rope. The Ref gets order. The Tribal Nation control the early minutes with double chops, double slams and double suplexes. The Guerreros get control when Hector hits Chris with a knee to the back from the apron. The Guerreros break all the rules but show off some incredible teamwork. They almost get the win with a double rib breaker on Mark but Chris makes the save. Things gets chaotic again as both teams start brawling. The Ref takes a tumble and goes down. The Guerreros hurl the Tribal Nation out of the ring. The Guerreros are laughing and celebrating. The Tribal Nation crawl over to the announcer's table and each grab a tomahawk. They slowly get on the apron. The Guerreros walk over and the Tribal Nation whack them over their heads with the tomahawks. The Guerreros fall back and down. The Tribal Nation enter the ring and make the covers. The Ref crawls over and makes the count on both Guerreros 1..2..3! Tribal Nation get some nice payback. Commercial Break We come back and see a Hulk Hogan video of him training hard and pumping iron. Hogan finishes his last set and looks into the camera. Hogan: The time has come Hulkamaniacs! You know since WrestleRock brother, all I could think about was getting my rematch for the world title! Ric Flair, you've spent the last few months ducking me but now you've got nowhere to run and nowhere to hide! It's signed, sealed and delivered! I've had to climb back up the mountain that I once ran wild on and now that I'm oh so close to the peak, there's nothing that can stop me! Not you Ric Flair and not any of your Horsemen goons. The hour glass has been turned over on you Ric Flair and the sand is falling. Your days are numbered and there's not a damn thing you can do about it! So! Ric Flair! Whatcha gonna do at SuperClash when the power of Hulkamania and Hulk Hogan run wild on youuuuuuuuuu! Hogan ends it with a flex.

Survivor Series is stacked! I love all the feuds going on which makes SS a must see.
-
The battle royal was great. The details really provided a great visual. WOW! Didn't expect Kama to win it but this sets up a perfect Clash match. I'm thinking Race has all this planned out. Pillman's got guts but he's going to need backup going up against the Dangerous Alliance Steamboat and Muta in a 60 minute iron man match! Bring it on! The Rockers have won some big wars this year but I have a feeling it's Doom's time. The Undertaker is definitely turning heads. Sting's on fire right now! I know IRL they dropped the ball on heel contenders for his first title run but he's got a long list of contenders to work with here. It's going to be a fun ride!

The first few minutes is Hogan, Kerry and Muraco all taking turns dominating. The tide turns when Tully interferes with a cheap shot on Muraco. With everything going down in Memphis, I have no doubt WrestleCade will deliver. WOW! Talk about a family feud. This one's going to get personal. The Prince will definitely earn his stripes by going toe to toe against the First Family. Savage and Bossman cut some pumped up promos to hype up their big title bout Oh yea, another tag team dream match coming. RWs and RnR Express, two of the best! I wonder how much money the York Foundation is going to have to fork over for another shot at Austin. The AWA thanks you for the shout out. Taylor and the Destruction Crew are in good hands

With Finlay on the prowl, the Money Train is sticking together In his young career, Eddie's has already established himself Coast to Coast gets a nice showcase Lighting Kid is on a rapid rise Awesome finish by Douglas. Condrey's got to be worried Cow Palace I'm with AD, Shane needs to rest and recuperate Scorpio always puts on a show The Italian Stallion's finisher always does the job Scotty didn't have much of a chance against a focused Hart Not even the Playboy could come up with a defense against the Spinebuster slam Dibiase seems like he's rattled. Bad timing with a determined Hart coming after him Fresno Lee remains in Prime Time Griz dominates in single's competition I can't wait for the Monster Mash/Spinebuster Slam showdown! Regal and Malenko have unfinished business Liger's closing in on Barr's title PCO has given Condrey a hard time. This should benefit Douglas

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 11-14-90 Ken Resnick: Hello fans and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Larry Nelson is in Alaska getting ready for this weekend's Title Night. We have a great show lined up tonight. The British Bombers collide with Buzz Sawyer and The Missing Link. That's one been brewing for a long time. We'll also have a SuperClash update. Ok, let's get to the ring for the action. The Missouri Tiger vs. Neil Jordan Tiger gets in the ring wearing his football jersey and football pants. He takes his jersey off and impresses the fans with his muscular physique. Tiger overwhelms his opponent with several power moves. He hits a snap suplex, then goes to the middle ropes. Jordan staggers up as Tiger nails him with a flying shoulder tackle for the win. Impressive debut for the Missouri Tiger. Commercial Break The Guerreros vs. Marvis Maples and Kenny Reeves Guerreros easily have control but still break the rules for the fun of it. Mando swings his opponent to the ropes and hits a drop toe hold as Chavo comes off the top rope with a knee drop to the head for the win. The Guerreros cut a promo and laugh at the Tribal Nation wanting another match since they already beat them. Resnick reminds them about the sack of coins that won them the match. The Guerreros get angry and say they'll take on the Tribal Nation next week! They start laughing again and say Resnick will be crying with the Tribal Nation when they lose again. Commercial Break We see the familiar deserted town. The camera pans over to hands gripping a noose then pans up to the Hangman. The camera shifts over to Nell, standing in his Preacher's suit and wearing his white cowboy hat. Nell: The time has come and as promised a poor soul has been chosen. That poor soul goes by the name of Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack is a blood thirsty violent masochist. Men like that do not belong amongst us. He is not human and must be exterminated. In other words, Cactus Jack your time has come, and you must now deal with the Hangman. The camera pans over to the Hangman as he tightens his grip on the noose. Marcus Bagwell and Marc Mero vs. The Art Newman and Gary Johnson The young team of Bagwell and Mero continue to improve and impress. Tonight they get the win with a double back drop followed by a double suplex. Commercial Break The Power Twins w/ Ted Arcidi vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Arcidi shouts throughout the match as the Power Twins show off their brute strength. Dave hits a backbreaker and holds his opponent as Larry comes off the top rope with a knee to the chest for the win. SuperClash takes place on Friday Jan. 2nd and Saturday Jan. 3rd and the McNichols Arena in Denver Co. Live on pay per view Commercial Break Konnan w/Gary Hart vs. William Hillman Hart watches on with pleasure as Konnan hits the Konnan Crash and follows with a single leg Boston Crab for the win. Resnick: Ok, Gary Hart, you got your wish. The match is signed for SuperClash. Konnan vs. El Canek. But be careful what you wish for. El Canek is not only Mexico's greatest wrestler but one of the AWA all time greats as well. Hart: Ken Resnick, your bias attitude amazes me. You and all the others put El Canek on a pedestal. You praise his greatness. I feel anger at the bottom of my stomach when people call him Mexico's best. Without a single doubt in my mind, I can tell you that this man right here (points at Konnan) is the greatest wrestler Mexico has ever produced. We will prove that at SuperClash. When that's over and done with, Konnan will conquer the AWA. Then you Ken Resnick and all the others will shout praise and put Konnan on that pedestal. Commercial Break We see a stage with smoke and flashing lights. The smoke clears and Maxx Payne is jamming on his guitar. Maxx Payne is coming to the AWA! Commercial Break Ron Garvin and Dick Slater vs. Carl Kellerman and Trent Watkins Slater and Garvin rough their opponents up with plenty of fists. Garvin slams his opponent and follows with the Garvin stomp. Garvin tags in Slater, who finishes things off with a Russian Leg Sweep. Garvin and Slater cut a fired up promo and say they've been done talking and at Super Clash their fists are going to do the talking when they pound on the Enforcers and take their AWA world tag titles! Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. The Missing Link and 'Mad Dog' Buzz Sawyer The bell rings and it's chaos! All 4 men just pound away on each other. After some brutal brawling, St. Clair sends Sawyer over the top rope with a running, spinning forearm blast. Smith clotheslines Link over the top rope. The Ref is trying to get control. He's telling the Bombers to stay back. St. Clair goes to his corner. On the outside, Link and Sawyer grab their chains. Link balls his chain around his fist. Smith goes to the ropes and grabs Link's hair. Link nails Smith with the chain. Smith's busted open as he falls back. St. Clair runs in to help Smith. Sawyer sneaks in the ring and clocks St. Clair from behind with his chain. The Ref calls for the DQ. Sawyer goes nuts as he wraps the chain around his fist and starts hammering away on St. Clair. Link does the same to Smith. Mass security hits the ring. Sawyer and Link threaten all of them before leaving. Sawyer is laughing manically as Link just looks insane. The Bombers are a bloody mess. Bad News is totally in character of being a loner. I love the ultimatum Tatanka and Z Man could be the stars that shine in 91 The SS is really heating up. Each elimination match means something. The promos have done a really good job of hyping it up. At this point in their careers, it makes sense for Snuka and Andre to team up. They're legends and could have one last big hurrah Damn! Vader's the man! I can't imagine who's going to want to step up to him.

The Russians are quickly making an impact The WWF is really cashing in on the Japanese talent. Sasaki shined with that finisher The way you've built up both men, Warrior vs. Berzerker is a damn good main event Boston I've mentioned this before, but I like how you've kept mainstays like Snuka and Sheik. Next TV will be very interesting JJ avoids the mist and gets the solid win RnR pump the fans up with the always over double dropkick to retain I'm enjoying the fun mid card matches. Rich, Valiant and JYD still have the name value and are contributing a lot to the scene. I guess the computer was right after all. Austin's really finding his groove Thanks to Christopher, Anvil pounds the Hammer After a great build up, the Road Warriors win the dream match against the Steiners. Smart move with the leg injury. It leaves the door open for a rematch. This could be a huge money making program What a great gimmick match to end the night. After that performance, could the Macho Man become the new king in Memphis???

Commercial Break El Canek vs. Todd Rooney Canek makes his return after another successful tour of Mexico. Canek looks damn good and wins the match with a gorilla press/rib breaker. Canek joins Larry Nelson at ringside. Nelson hypes up Canek's accomplishments and calls him the greatest wrestler to come out of Mexico. Boos as Gary Hart walks out. Nelson: Come on Gary, this isn't your time. Hart: I'm making it my time. Mr. Nelson, I take great offense by you claiming that this man is the greatest wrestler to come out of Mexico. I know for a fact that Konnan deserves that honor. Now, El Canek's resume is surely impressive but his time has come and gone. Konnan is the new era and with him comes a modern style of Luche Libre. It's time to bury the past and that means it's time to send El Canek into the sunset. Canek steps up to Gary but Gary calmly walks away. Commercial Break The RPM's and 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi vs. The Professionals and 'Jamm'n' Tommy Jammer w/ The Vin Man We get a fun back and forth match. Jammer and Brandi have been at each other and tonight they get in their heated exchanges. The RPMs put their speed and chemistry in full throttle. The Professionals slow the pace with technical wrestling and submission holds. Tensions rise when the Pros and Jammer start breaking the rules along with some interference by Vinnie. This leads to a pier six brawl. Vinnie hops on the apron as the RPMs stereo dropkick the Pros out of the ring. Brandi dropkicks Jammer into Vinnie. Vinnie goes flying as Brandi rolls up Jammer 1..2..3! Commercial Break SuperClash 5 Live on pay per view From the McNichols Arena in Denver Co. Idol: That's right daddy, the Universal Heartthrob is here along with Gorgeous Gary Young and the future JW Storm. I'm here to talk to you Ricky Santana. I have to say, you've got that cool factor darling. I'm talking Caribbean coolness brother. As you can see, I'm forming a stable of winners. I like to call this stable Austin's Idols. Now, we need one more piece to complete this puzzle and then it's on with the master plan. Bottom line is we want you in Austin's Idols baby! Come with us and trust me, you won't regret it. Austin, Young and Storm head out. Ricky pauses, looks around and then follows them up the aisle. Commercial Break AWA TV Champ David Sammartino vs. Clinton Stitch Sammartino wins the match with a belly to belly suplex. Sammartino cuts a promo and says he's ready to defend the TV title against Iceman Parsons next week at Title Night. He says he's also been well aware of Jacquline's constant interference and has an ace up his sleeve. Commercial Break Col Debeers vs. Trent Watkins Debeers wins the match with a front face piledriver. Nelson: Col. Debeers, I think you've awaken a beast in Carlos Colon. He says he's going to win this war no matter what. Debeers: Never before have I heard such a ridiculous statement from an untouchable like Carlos Colon. He thinks because he hit me a few times with a baseball bat, that I'm going to be intimidated. Let me show you what's in store for that bottom feeder Colon. Debeers picks up his club. As his recent opponent Trent Watkins staggers away, Debeers nails him from behind with the club! Debeers brutally beats down on Watkins with the club until several officials run out to stop this madness. Commercial Break Gama Singh vs. Neil Jordan Gama is now trying to get back on track as a solo wrestler. He looks crisp tonight and wins the match with the Indian Deathlock. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Enforcers w/Tully Blanchard vs. The Soul Patrol Next week the Enforcers will be in the special attraction 6 man match at Title Night. The Soul Patrol were owed this title match and man they could really throw the Horsemen off their game if they win here tonight. The Soul Patrol bring their A game and dominate the first segment by pinballing the Enforcers all over the ring. Both Arn and Zbyszko are bumping like crazy. After getting stereo clotheslined over the top rope, Tully runs over and regroups his team. The Enforcers do regroup and take control. The Enforcers methodically work over Walker's arm and almost get the win when Zbyszko hammerlock slams Walker and holds his arm as Arn comes off the top rope with a knee to the arm. Luckily Jones ran in to make the save. Walker eventually tags in Jones. Jones cleans house for a while but the Enforcers come back. Tully runs around the ring, yanks Walker off and slams him arm first into the steel post. In the ring, Zbyszko executes a swinging neckbreaker on Jones. Arn swings Jones to the ropes and hits the spinebuster for the win! Tully snatches the titles, gets on the ring and hands them to the Enforcers. Hold on! Ted Arcidi and the Power Twins come out. Dave picks up Walker and bearhug runs him into the steel post. Power Twin Larry gets in the ring and bearhug slams Jones into the mat. Arcidi leads them out as the Horsemen laugh. Tully, Arn and Zbyszko head to ringside. Tully: Hogan! Von Erich and especially you Muraco! I hope you were watching because you're all next! Zbyszko: You three spudheads aren't going to Alaska, you're coming into Larry Land and you're not coming out! Arn: The bigger they are, the harder the Horsemen put down! Muraco! You're out of your depth! And as for you Von Erich. You're going to rue the day you ever got in the Horsemen's business. That's a promise from Dan Spivey! And as for you Hogan. We're going to see to it that you never get that world title shot! Tully: That's a fact! And a painful one! Commercial Break Nelson: Wow, what a show this has been. Listen to this. Next week, the British Bombers will face Buzz Sawyer and the Missing Link. My goodness! Also, we'll see the debut of the Missouri Tiger. Now, next Saturday's Title Night in Alaska, Ric Flair will defend the AWA world title against Mr. Saito. Let's hear comments from the world champ, Ric Flair. Flair's wearing a suit with the title on his shoulder. Flair: You know there's a lot going on in the AWA and everybody wants to know what's causing all this! That's what happens when the Nature Boy's wearing the gold! I've defended this title all over the world and next stop is Alaska. Mr. Saito, I can outwrestle you! I can outclass you and brother I can out party you. I'm taking you to school in Alaska and it's as simple as that. Then I have to wonder, who's left. Well, one thing's for sure, it's not going to be you Hulk Hogan. Hahahahaha WOOOOO!

Chono's Yakuza kick is really getting over King Kev adds muscle to his team Uncle Ivan shows up and serves notice to the WWF that the Russians are here! Ivan can play a key role here as the leader and mouthpiece. This is going to be great Sherri takes a verbal jab at King Kev Jake with menacing words. I'm looking forward to his role at SS Alright! The Z-Man has arrived. He has the right look and energy to go far here The main event gets wild and serves as an excellent set up for SS. It's always funny watching Funk lose his mind. You're definitely on the right track to SS.

Wolverine and Magneto, yep it's Halloween To me, Silver King's win over Raymond is a big deal. Thos definitely moves Silver King up a level Brutus beats the Sheik in a fun veteran's match up Nikolai and Boris will fight another day The Ronin have been unstoppable since winning the titles. Cool seeing the tag title match as the main event Worcester Big things ahead for both Tatanka and Warlord Nasty Boys are making waves as they defeat the former champs The King is getting his chance to shine in the WWF LOL, I can just imagine Slick sprinting away from Bad News That must have been a sight to see watching Tugboat go down to Chono's big kick Duggan and his 2x4 send the fans home happy. I mentioned the tag title main event at the Cumberland arena. The IC title match closes this show. You've really put importance on these titles and have shown faith that they can be big draws.

Fuke's experience was definitely the key factor here. Yamada kept the pressure on and finished strong Wow, Kanemoto went on an onslaught at the end. Great finishing sequence If Anjo had something to prove then mission accomplished as he gets a big submission win Han was going toe to toe and hung in there, but in the end, Karelin worked him over pretty good to advance. Takada is rebounding well from last year's loss to Vader. Takada just might be the sleeper this year Oh man, I thought Sayama was so locked in the zone that he would take Ruas, but the guillotine suplex was the beginning of the end for the champ. I know the crowd was stunned, so was I. Maeda vs. Fujinami is a money maker and these two delivered. Maeda gets the win to advance. I can't wait for the semis. Those are some great match ups. Tonight was an exciting show. It was a good mix of future stars and legendary vets.
